Originally built in 1899, this gem of East Austin features 10 foot ceilings, a Dutch beamed ceiling in the dining room & Eygptian globe chandelier, bead-board and lovely trim work throughout. Located in the Historic Willow-Spence Neighborhood!

We will definitely be coming back to stay with Lyon again if we get back out here! The property was beautiful, well stocked and furnished, well cared for, and had all kinds of comforts for us. Lyon gave us a tour when we first arrived, and also helped us out with all the great local spots to see! I can only think of nice things to say about this rental unit and definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Austin for business OR pleasure.

As the organizer of the bachelorette party, you never know how receptive the host will be. Lyon was by far the BEST host I’ve come across. He greeted me at check in, walked me through the house and the amazing recommendations he put together for Austin. The house was the best layout for a group of 7. Everything We Expected Plus Even More!
This was our fifth or sixth vacation rental for our family vacation with all our adult kiddos. East Cesar Chavez tops the list for being very well equipped and very comfortable for all of us. The guest cottage was a bonus - so cute and intimate!
We love to cook together and the kitchen was perfect for that - everything we expected plus even more!
It's location was within walking distance to many places. The neighborhood seems like a fun one - friendly neighbors and a safe location.

Lyons home in Austin, TX is absolutely everything and more. Exactly as pictured. Extremely clean, and homey. It was in the perfect location as well. Walking distance from Rainey street, and a short Uber ride to every other activity we did. (Lake Austin, Pedal Tour in the city, etc). Absolutely perfect for my friends bachelorette party. There is also a cabinet filled with bachlorette items that I read about in a prior review, which was so cute and fun! (We contributed our decor, cups and napkins for the cabinet as well so definitely use the adorable banners I left!!!)

Perfect!
This was the perfect rental for our family attending an Austin wedding. Spacious, well appointed with all the modern amenities you could ask for, and absolutely charming decor. Plenty of room for seven adults to spread out and have their private space and wonderful gathering spaces for when we wanted to be together. Ideal location! Close to everywhere we needed (or wanted) to be.

Second time for us
This property fits all our needs. With our son and daughter in law with a 2 year old the cottage gives them a place put our granddaughter down for naps.
The steam sauna is very nice. Plenty of room in the back for the kids to run around and play.

Bachelorette weekend
Had my friends bachelorette party in Austin... this house had EVERYTHING we needed. From towels to shampoo/conditioner to bandaids and let’s not forget the BACHELORETTE cabinet filled with decorations! (You’re welcome to the next group). Lyon was great and very hospitable. He left us with a very detailed book of the area and fun things to do. Everything we did was about 5-10 minute Uber ride away. Just amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

Lovely House
Our group of nine stayed here for a long weekend and the house was just right for us. When we arrived, the house was spotless. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were lovely, and there were lots of soft towels. The house is located on a quaint and quiet street (great for sleeping in or taking naps) just a short walk away from local restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We took Lyfts to/from downtown spots because it was chilly out.

This is a very/very nice place, very well furnished, spotless, perfect location, all the appliances etc appear to be brand new and Lyon could not have been a more gracious & accommodating host. Lots of room throughout -this house is extremely functional which made the stay so nice.

Spectacular home
A college friend reunion brought us to Austin, and we had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home. It was well supplied, spacious and extremely clean! This was our first trip to Austin and Lyon met us at the home, showed us the house and walked us through a binder of areas to see, restaurants or food trucks to eat at and ways to get groceries. This home was in fact a gem in East Austin. All the comforts of home are here for you. The kitchen was fully stocked, as were the bedrooms. Little things that are not readily available at other rental homes were available here which made our stay so much more comfortable and was really the icing on the cake. Thank you Lyon!
There were 10 of us in our party and we enjoyed all of the amenities the house has to offer. we did have a rental car which is a must unless you plan to Uber around town. Lyon was super helpful with names of local restaurants and other must-see sites, although I highly recommend making reservations in advance.
