This condo was cozy and had plenty of space for 3 professionals in town for the Telluride Film Festival. Convenient to the gondola into Telluride and just steps away from Mountain Village amenities. Thanks!

Perfect location to everything. Right by the resort and gondola to get into town. We loved it!

The location is great.
I communicated with the host, Neal, a few times throughout the week, and he was always kind and quick to respond.
The two upstairs bedrooms could really use fans (there is one) and humidifiers. I made Neal aware, and he said he’d get some ordered.
We found some trash on the floor here and there. I made Neal aware of the worst of it, so I’m hopeful he’ll address it with their housekeepers.

We had a great stay in town for a wedding!

Good accommodation, a bit dated but ok. Upstairs bedroom is really tight with trundle pulled out. Sofa bed in loft does not sleep like tempurpedic bed, needs new mattress as does single rollaway. I'm sure the description was correct at some point. The location is really great, super convenient for skiing but if stairs are a problem find somewhere with an elevator.

Loved this condo. Great location. Well stocked. Very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Clean but a bit worn. Lots of spoons & forks, but only 6 knives. Where did the rest go? Had to purchase paper towels, dish soap and dishwasher soap as quantity provided insufficient for 5 adults for 7 days. Great location for ski in/ ski out. Located at 9,500 foot attitude, so flat landers plan accordingly. Had a nice stay.

Our family of 5+2 dogs were in Telluride 12/18-12/22/23 and really enjoyed staying in Neil’s lovely condo. Neil was a great host-quickly answering any questions we had and letting us check in a few hours early. He even provided us with two lift tickets to use each day of our stay, which was Amazing! The condo is very spacious and comfortable. It has a well appointed kitchen, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, several balconies, a washer and dryer, and even a cozy fireplace. It is in a great location with lots of restaurants and shopping just steps away. For those who ski, the Chondola lift is right outside the front door. It was very easy to walk to the gondola from the condo to get into town so we didn’t need to drive anywhere once we parked our car in the garage space provided with the condo rental. We are looking forward to staying here again soon!

We had a lovely stay at the Blue Mesa! There was plenty of room for our party of 8 and the location is perfect! The owner is super accomodating and fast to respond to questions or needs. Would definitely stay here again!

I've been renting from the owner two other properties in the village and this is the first time we stayed here. It was in a very good location, private parking space in the garage and a large condo, large enough for all of us adults.
It was clean. Quite frankly, it was perfect. We could easily have spent twice as much for not as nice of a location or condo.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was able to fit 3 families with kids which was great. The Mountain Village location was beautiful and the easy access to the Gondola to Telluride was convenient.

Very clean. Owner communicates well, responsive to questions. Furniture a bit dated but clean & in good repair. A touch too much furniture in the living room makes it feel a bit crowded. Can’t beat the location. Kitchen is very well equipped. We had a lovely stay!

It is true this was a 3b/3 1/2ba condo. What is NOT mentioned is that it is a three-story condo with a bedroom on each floor. It was a erage at best. Not 100% sure it was totally cleaned as a wet washcloth was left hanging in the shower. There are several places where the floor tiles are lifting or all together loose. There were several lightbulbs out and a completely missing light fixture on the tract-lighting in the second floor bedroom, and the door to the half bath on the main floor sticks along the floor.
It was unusually hot so we pulled the three box fans from the closet. None of them worked. We called the owner to advise and hopefully get help but his response was “oh, yeah, I’ve been meaning to get those replaced.”

There’s space for everyone and the location - just off sunset plaza - is just a few minutes’ walk to anywhere you want to go.

This place was perfect for our company’s leadership retreat. Each of us had a master bedroom and en suite bathroom and the main living space was large and well furnished. Can’t beat this condo’s location right at the top of the Meadows, with a bar and BBQ joint in the same building, pizza, ice cream and fancy Italian bordering the same plaza, and the rest of what the mountain village has to offer only steps away. It was quiet, clean, and the 2 ski passes made it an excellent value.

I always like to start my reviews with positives, even when there are not many.
Location: The location in Mountain Village is exceptional. Close to everything and all of Mountain Village is walkable.
Ski Passes: Two ski passes are included in the rental which is an extra added benefit, and that I was unfortunately unaware of until the day before check-in.
That’s it for the positive. Telluride is expensive overall, but for the cost and what we saw of other units in similar price ranges rented by friends, this is the other side.
Furniture: Nothing matched or coordinated, and the fabric couch in the living room was so dirty that nobody in our group wanted to sit on it without ski pants on.
Floors: As mentioned in other reviews, the floors were what seems to be veneer, and never meant to be actual flooring. All the interior doors were cut using a jigsaw on the bottom so they would close over the uneven floor. Incredible how bad the floors were. The stone continued throughout including on the master bath counter where the sink and the faucets could not be attached, and they are floating on top. Don’t plan on putting anything under the sink as peeling paint from leakage make it unusable. Carpets are old and in need of changing out.
Cleanliness: Likely impossible to get the discoloration out of the showers, etc, without a long-overdue overhaul.
Kitchen: Like everything else, it was beaten up and in need of updating.
Telluride is a magical place, full of world-class skiing and great restaurants. I think if the cost was significantly less, and you were simply looking for a condo to crash in to ski all day, it may be acceptable for some. For families that are not on the mountain all day, I would have to recommend a different condo to enjoy it all in.

We loved our trip. The location of this condo is great! And the two gold passes are an awesome addition. I’d definitely go back.

The location was awesome and the condo is extremely spacious BUT it ends there.
We visited in December. The top floor bedroom was sooooo HOT. Turned off the heat but it didn't seem to help. Opening the windows gave some ventilation.
Toiletries were extremely limited. Shampoo, conditioner, hand and dishwasher soap were all under the halfway mark and there was NO KLEENEX.
The coach in the family was horrible. We had trouble with the wifi. One day it kept loosing connection and the next day it was completed down. We had no internet or TV. It was not worth a call to the owner as we were leaving early the next morning.

We booked this condo about 9 months in advance and had some second thoughts given a few of the negative reviews. Overall, it was a great trip. The reviews mentioning older furnishings are correct, although the only "real" problem was one of the dining room chairs had a missing bolt or something and needed to be up against the wall. The two sofas in the living room are older and I probably wouldn't purchase for my home, but were fine for us for 6 days.
The appliances all worked (half the toaster was missing a latch or something, but that wasn't a big issue for us). We cooked in most nights and the stove/oven/microwave/dishwasher all worked well. There were no cookie sheets, but we bought some inexpensive ones and left them for future guests. We didn't try the crock-pot there, but it looked relatively new and should work well. There was also a blender. The coffee maker worked well.
The beds were clean and I saw no sign of bugs at all. The paint seemed fresh and the area was all clean. There was a review mentioning uneven flooring, and there were a couple of tiles that were raised above the others, but none were loose and they were covered with a rug. It was fine even for my aging parents. They did have trouble with the stairs at altitude (20 steps total to get into the condo), but they were able to stay on the main level and the young people climbed the other two sets just fine.
The internet and televisions worked great. Heating was consistent and easy to control -- understanding that radiant heat isn't a quick change.
The two ski lockers included held all of our gear fine. The included two Gold-Pass ski tickets were very useful and kept us from spending $1000 on lift tickets for the one of us without an Epic Pass. Thank-you to the owner for that!!!
The location -- just above Poacher's Pub was great for our group. We could easily get out to the slope about 20-30 yards from our door -- all flat. From there, you can ski down to the Chondola or Sunshine Express, or cross over the ski bridge to access Village express. Walking to the shops and restaurants was easy as well.
Overall, this condo is not as new as some we've stayed in and it shows. However, I feel like some of the prior reviewers were either really picky, or the owner had already fixed the problems before we got there. We never needed to contact the owner at all -- so I can't comment on responsiveness to issues.

Numerous burned out light bulbs in ceiling and wall lighting. Dishes and glassware were smudged with handprints and had to be put in the dishwasher before use. Smashed goldfish crackers on carpet of MBR. Towel rack brackets on 2 bathroom walls with missing towel racks. Many windows had no screens so if windows need to be left open, bugs get it. 3 box fans but only 1 works - owner said "not my responsibility". Not all crank windows open... had to use a tool kit to try to open windows. Owner's voice mailbox is full so you can't leave a message..... Had to contact VRBO corporate so that owner could be contacted to get in touch with us with regard to these issues. It appears the sofas, chairs, etc. haven't been updated in over 10 years. Slate floor is uneven in places and in other places has spalled - don't walk on this floor without shoes on because of uneven tile & filthy. Be aware that there is no A/C in the entire building so if you are in this unit in the summer, you need to be able to open windows and use box fans (which the owner won't provide.) After the owner called me (after I contacted corporate VRBO), owner promised to send over handyman with light bulbs and to repair other assorted issues but handyman never showed up for the 4 days we were there. Coffeemaker was so stained that we bought a new one. BBQ grill on the porch is absolutely filthy. Lampshades are torn. This unit is run down and not clean. Renter beware!!

The location is great. Only criticism is they should replace the living room sleeper couch. The cushions fall off all the time. It’s a great rental, great kitchen and great bedrooms. Right next to the gondola. Great for families.

Lots of room for teens to have autonomy and independence. Everything stocked well except paper towels and utensils. Clean space and near everything you need, especially quick walk to gondola.
4.0 / 10.0
We had 10 ladies stay in this unit on a girls trip and had a blast. Great location to the slopes and the rest of the village. Easy gondola ride to Telluride. Gold passes were an added bonus too.
The stairs were rough if you were staying in the top floor room, but we managed. Kitchen was mainly well equipped. Fold out sofa on the landing was uncomfortable, would recommend a mattress topper to help.
Would definitely stay here again, though!

My 12 year old son was bitten by bedbugs -- bites covered half his body. I emailed the owner twice with pictures, and received no response (he kept my money and ignored me). The unit is very dated and falling apart -- torn arms on sofa, loose tile on the stairs (dangerous!), wobbly towel racks and some missing as having already fallen. The furniture is Salvation Army / bad neighborhood yard sale quality -- not a single piece could be sold in a decent consignment shop. Get this...they have two wireless networks - a fast one the owner uses and for which no password was given, and the world's slowest, cheapest network you are allowed to use. Made it impossible to Zoom, so don't plan on working remote there! The kitchen had ONE SPOON, other than massive serving spoons -- good luck making that work with kids. OH, and halfway through the stay the owner sent an email ORDERING us to strip the beds and wash the sheets when
we left -- so he could pay the housekeepers less! The location was great, but find a nicer unit and an owner who is not an unresponsive slum lord.

We couldn't have been more happy with the location....we walked downstairs, grabbed our skis out of the ski locker and within 20 steps were on the snow. The condo itself was aqdequate...somewhat smaller than I thought (it may have been my mistake) but it worked for us. A bit too much furniture in the common area made it hard to maneuver around and was a bit shop worn. But we came to ski and be with our children and grandchildren and in the end that was what mattered! (BTW: Bonus...the owner left us 2 gold passes! Thanks!)

I would not rent from this property owner again.
PROS:
Excellent location! 3 minute walk to the 2 main lifts in Mountain Village and all the restaurants/pubs/shops are within an easy 5 minute walk of the Condo.
CONS:
The owner, Mr. Elinoff only seems to care about getting his payment and after that does not communicate with the renters.
We checked in on Sunday and on Monday we sent a message to the owner through the VRBO App. The ski lockers were supposed to have locks provided, our check-in instructions informed us about two locks for our two ski lockers and provided us with the requisite combinations. There was only one lock, closed, and the combination provided did not open the lock. We asked Mr. Elinoff about the locks so that we could secure our 6 x pairs of skis, poles and boots.
The Condo had less than a quarter roll of paper towels and no cleaning products (409, wipes, Lysol etc. etc.). In the same meassage on Monday we asked him for some cleaning products, so that we could clean up after ourselves in the kitchen.
We also called Mr. Elinoff, and left a message as to what we were looking for.
As of our check-out the following Saturday we never heard from Mr. Elinoff.
The condo was not well taken care of. The second level thermostat was partially pulled off the wall and the wires exposed. The brown leather couch in the living room had a tear in the arm rest; the blue cloth chair in the living room had a tear in it; a pillow in the living room was torn; the grey couch in the living room had a tear in the arm rest; the thermostat on the ground level had been replaced, the area around it spackled and not painted; the were several gashes (unrepaired & unpainted) in the walls of the ground floor; someone had pulled a cabinet or mirror of the master bath wall on the ground floor and left the hardware and the area around it unpainted.
When we attempted to leave the condo the following Saturday the garage door, to the community garage would not open. We attempted to call several numbers provided in the garage, in case of issues with the garage door, to no avail. We then called Mr. Elinoff, who actually answered the phone. He said he would call the property management company and call us back. We never heard back from him.
For the amount we spent, I expect a bit more service from a property owner and a better taken care of condo!! I can't upload any pictures here, but have proof of everything described.

Interesting being up in the mountains at what looks like another town. Shops and restaurants and patios abound around this condominium. It's at 8,750 elevation, and the gondola climbs to over ten thousand feet before dropping to Telluride. The condo is on the second floor so it's easy to get out of breath, and a bedroom is on the third floor of the condo, so that's a lot of high altitude steps! But by golly we loved our stay there.
5.0 / 10.0
We definitely recommend this Mountain Village condo. Easy to find and a perfect location. We loved all of the space and the stocked kitchen. Note - the condo is on the second floor and there is no elevator, so pack light, as you will be carrying all of your belongings up/down stairs. Within the condo itself, there are three floors, so more stairs! As long as you are able-bodied, it's perfect:)
