A beautiful setting. Convenient to area attractions. A few items need some attention. Communication with the host was positive.

Absolutely loved this cabin and it’s location. Access to the river is great and a perfect spot for snorkeling with several deep areas on Little River.

We stayed at River Dreaming for a weekend and it was magical! Photos in the listing don’t do justice to the beautiful setting. The cabin had everything that we needed, and management was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We loved the screened in porch beds and our walks down to the river front! It is just beyond a gorgeous campground, far enough away from any noise, but close to anything we might have needed, and so close to the park entrance! We hope to return soon!

We stayed here to enjoy the bigfoot festival and it was perfect and exactly what we needed. Only thing negative is the beds were very firm. Other than that it was great!

We did not spend much time during the day Its quiet. We were there during Christmas and it was COLD! But we had a fire each evening that helped warm the cabin, they had plenty of firewood 😄 We had one issue that required us calling to have it addressed (on Christmas Eve), it was all fixed when we returned to cabin. Its a quaint, lovely cabin in a great spot!

Great spot to enjoy the Smoky Mountains
Had a great stay right outside the entrance to the park. Kids really enjoyed playing in the creek too!
There is an electric fence on the adjacent property immediately behind the cabin. It is for the horses, so just keep an eye on any little ones playing back there.

Peaceful
River Dreaming was a lovely, rustic cabin. The cabin had all the comforts of home. Loved the leather recliners for football games. Two minute walk to the river for great fishing both days. The view from the back porch is beautiful. The cabin is minutes off the main road. We loved the large screen porch on the front of our house to put our bikes In-N-Out if the weather! We appreciated how clean the cabin was for our stay. Great communication with Cathy.

Feels like home
My family and I stayed at River Dreaming, we have the best time. The cabin was in a convenient location if your looking to visit Cades Cove and visit all the parks nearby. I did read the reviews ahead of time and brought a baby gate for the stairs. If you have small kids I recommend that as well just for peace of mind! We spent more time on the screened in porch than inside! Perfect get away!!

Awesome Getaway!!!
We absolutely loved this cabin. If we get the opportunity to go back, will definitely be staying there again. The location is perfect and you have easy access to lots of great places. Is is peaceful and quiet, with excellent scenery. The front porch is beyond amazing!! A 5 Star location for sure!!!

Peaceful and comfortable
We had a good 2 night stay. Location is quiet and very close to entrance to National Park. Comfortable furniture and beds. Spacious for three adults. Efficient and quiet heating and cooling system. Sufficient paper products. Good quality towels/cloths. Bring your own soap/shampoo. NEEDS a good cleaning of floors and baseboards. Under furniture and beds neglected. Rugs had not been vacuumed. Fire pit could be improved but it did contain our fire. Only two outside chairs by the fire pit. One of the straight back chairs on the porch has an exposed wood screw and we ripped a pair of shorts. These are simple to improve upon and we enjoyed our stay.

loved our stay, will be back
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin and plan to visit again. We were very happy with the cleanliness. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It was the perfect size for our little family (1 1/2 year old and 5 year old). The kids LOVED roasting hotdogs and marshmallows over the fire pit. The screened in porch was the PERFECT place to relax and enjoy the weather, swing on the porch swing, listen to nature, while keeping my young son enclosed. Only caution is that the steps leading upstairs are really steep, so we had to be extra careful with the little ones on the steps but not a deterent (next time we will probably bring our babygate). Cabin is very conveniently located. The visitors center was SO helpful directing us to the best hiking trailheads. We hiked Laurel Falls (very kid friendly), and Spruce Flat Falls (our new favorite but a little more challenging). THANK YOU!

Quaint and clean little cabin
This cabin was exactly as described on the posting, very clean and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Note that the stairs are steep but there are railings on both sides to hold. I removed 1 star because the first floor smoke detector was missing (the backplate was there but the actual detector was gone) and the doors to the bedroom and bathroom only stay closed if you use the slide bolt which requires a little wiggling to get in place.

Perfect little getaway
This was a “staycation” weekend for us and we couldn’t have asked for more! Such a quaint little cabin hidden in the mountains. The surrounding area is gorgeous! River access. Grill. Fire pit. Huge screened in porch. Perfect for our little family! We will be back!

Fun family Getaway
We have a 20 month old son, and it was our first longer vacation with him. He had a blast, and we especially loved the location and screened in porch. We hope to visit again soon! Thank you!

Amazing little cabin
very nice cute cabin. We loved the front and back porch. Very quiet and nice, tucked away in the woods. Can hear the river from the porches, all the neighbors were friendly and quiet. I would say the photos currently posted do not do this cabin justice. We were not expecting it to be this nice by the photos posted, Would recommend updating photos.
Only down fall i would say is kitchen is not very equipped, so bring your own stuff.. especially silverware
We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
