Summary of reviews
The property accommodated large groups well with plenty of room for all. Great pool, spacious living areas, and easy beach access made the stay enjoyable.

House needs some work. Broken tile in shower . Some of the doors to the deck will not open. AC in one of the areas didn’t work. Pool was full of debris. House just felt like it has been neglected.

This house is way too big unless you have a large family gathering—which we did. If you do have a large group, this house is perfect.
The location, just off the Allee of Oaks, is great. The pool is a HUGE family hit.
And that the house also has 3 refrigerators and 2 sets of washers and dryers makes vacationing much easier.

The pool makes this house! Easy bike ride to the beach.

There is so much space... and with 2 kitchens, so many possibilities. It needs some TLC here and there, but it served us very well, and we would stay there again. Joe was available, helpful, and very accommodating. The home has all you need to move right in. I won't give it 5 stars, as it is a bit dated and needs some work in places. But this is an amazing place, in a great Kiawah location!

This house is good for groups and has good proximity to the beach. It needs A LOT of repairs and safety overhaul.
Most exterior doors do not fully close, and are not able to be locked because of that. The open doors allows a large amount of bugs and frogs in the house.
Several outlets were also not plated/covered. Paint/wallpaper is peeling and chipping in several rooms. My 10 month old nephew enjoyed crawling to the walls, eating paint and trying to stick his fingers in outlets.
Several bathrooms have mold on the ceilings, one bedroom and bathroom smelled like cigarettes, the sink in the master bathroom broke. Instead of fixing, the repairman turned water off to it. Thankfully the master bathroom had 2 sinks.
A bathroom window from the second floor was shattered, either from a golfball or branch. We told the property manager and he said it would be "addressed after checkout". The grime in the cracks suggests the window was shattered sometime ago and will not be addressed after checkout.
He replies to many reviews saying items have been addressed. Our experience (and comments from the plumber who "fixed" our bathroom sink) suggests many of the items from previous reviews were not fully addressed.
We respect Kiawah is a high traffic vacation destination, but that doesn't excuse safety and high-level oversights. We rented bc most reviews were replied to stating the issues were fixed. We've been coming to Kiawah for 30 years. This is the only house we wouldn't rent again.

This place was perfect for our large group golf trip to kiawah. It was centrally located and convenient to all the courses.

The house was perfect for our large group of friends. There was plenty of room to gather together and also have small group conversations! The location is beautiful, with lots of wildlife and flora.
My only suggestion would be bring extra towels.

The facility was large, as was advertised. It was in minor disrepair, although most things worked and it met our needs. [The 2nd washer/dryer didn't work and there was a faucet in the MBR that did not work] It would have been nice to have a decent vacuum cleaner or a broom since we were there a week and like a clean home.

Great property for a group. Would have been nice to have a queen instead of all the twin beds for family groups. Otherwise awesome location

This house fits our family of 16 (3 generations) perfectly. There have been some updates since last time we stayed, appreciated the cleanliness. Great location for riding bikes to the beach. Used the pool and pool table every day. Cooked 90% of our meals, kitchen well stocked. Would love to come back again!

This house was perfect for our family of 9 adults, 2 teens and 2 toddlers. We had more than enough space, the kitchens were well stocked with utensils, dishware, pots, pans, etc. the pool was great though we were disappointed that it wasn’t heated, especially for our little ones, but as the outside temps went up the water warmed. Part of our “entertainment” was collecting flying golf balls! It was a pretty regular occurrence and we had a couple of close calls while out by the pool. The walk to the beach is .9 miles on a beautiful paved path with gorgeous trees on either side and a pond with some alligator spotting. There is an new stroller in the house as well as a small wagon, but plan to bring or rent your own beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. For the most part the beds and bedding were very comfortable. There are plenty of extra pillows in the closets but no extra pillow cases. There are no extra blakets or comforters, but each bed has sufficient bedding. Towels are sufficient but definitely low grade. There is a lot of deferred maintenance with this house but it didn’t significantly impact our stay. Screen doors with no screens, deck gates to yard and pool have latches that don’t work (problem w toddlers), master bedroom fan remote doesn’t work to run fan without the light on, some rotted wood in decking, several broken outdoor chairs need to be replaced, could use more outdoor seating/tables, grill is old and very spotty heating.

We were 6 couples with one child and had plenty of room. All couples had their own bath. The great room in the adjoining wing with the pool table was a real hit. We will definitely be back! For those not used to properties at a beach there are some issues to expect. General wear and tear from sea air is one. Some of outdoor chairs are rusted, that kind of thing. The mattresses are top notch except in the “ kids” room that has 4 beds-those feel more like cots. Balls from the golf course will also hit the house, which is exciting/scary. Easy half-mile walk to the beach. We will be back! It’s a 4.5/5 in my opinion

While Joe was excellent at communications and responding, this property needs some love. More lighting, many more towels (there was literally one per person and no pool towels) and generally the outside area was in disarray. The garbage cans had not been picked up and were scattered around, and all the hoses were unrolled and just laying around. The pool area was great with lots of chairs, but again just old junk laying around like pool toys etc...We had a lot of people so the kitchen was great, lots of cookware and flatware. All in all it was a great stay, perfect for a large group but we all agreed we wouldn't stay longer than a few days, or if we did, we would come prepared with towels, soap, dish detergent etc...When they warn about flying golf balls be prepared! We collected about 20!

Great home that met our groups’ needs perfectly. Grand rooms with plenty of space to congregate but also plenty of privacy in the sleeping areas. This house is great for a group of friends, large family or multiple family traveling party. Awesome outdoor space with a nice pool and stunning views of the 14th hole on Osprey Point. This home is in a perfect location on the island close to golf, the beach and all other amenities. The kitchen and baths were well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Lots of parking available in two separate driveways and garages for the property. The owner was very responsive and provided plenty of information about the home and the surrounding area. We definitely look forward to visiting again soon.

The pics don’t do justice to this massive house. We were able to easily accommodate a large group of family and friends. Huge well equipped common areas. Golf course right in the backyard. The property manager was very responsive. Would love to stay here again.

Easy process and everything as expected.

House was perfect for our family. 2 couples with dogs stayed in guest house and the rest of the family stayed in main house. Children slept together as well. We rented bikes and rode to beach daily. Golf balls do occasionally come into back of house where pool is - that is the only negative. The house could use some TLC; but, very tolerable. Management was very responsive.

We were very pleased with the location of this property and the layout which gave us room to spread out but also enjoy each other’s company. The house was superficially clean with clean sheets but there were not enough towels, wash clothes or hangers to accommodate our group. There were many items in need of repair - shower head that did not work, trash compactor, vent on stove, dishwasher, screen hanging from a door and just odd screens and other materials which were just placed in closets. Outside the pool was clear but at one end had a pipe that was disconnected and deck chairs were placed on their sides to block entrance from the golf course. For the amount we paid for the week we were expecting a house that was fixed up and ready for us to use.

Outdated and grimy
The house was a great size for the large group of guys we had during our stay but the overall condition of the house was poor and the listing did not give an accurate representation of what to expect. The house needs a lot of work - there is peeling wallpaper, lights that don't work, an overall grungy and dirty feeling, there are hardly any usable pool chairs, and the exterior is overgrown and looks like it hasn't been maintained for years. Additionally, we requested extra towels as there weren't enough when we arrived and we found clumps of hair in the new "clean" towels we were provided.
The manager was friendly and helpful but the listing leaves much to be desired. I would not stay here again.

Huge home!
Our group of 14 thoroughly enjoyed the stay here and would stay again. It is tremendously spacious and the pool is very nice.

It was great
We had a bachelor party here with 15 friends. It was literally perfect - huge house (It seems like it was literally two houses that got combined into one big one at one point), private pool area, a pool table in a big cozy room that’s great to spend late nights in, lots of fridges, plenty of space and beds for everyone (and the beds and pillows were actually all super comfortable), a nice tv room with a giant tv, an indoor and outdoor grill. Some people in the VRBO comments said that there were outdated things in the place but I feel like those were just style-related like some of the couches and decorations were old in style and the outside of the house wasn’t in the best condition but it didn’t affect the quality of the stay at all, a lot of the outdated style around the house was honestly kinda charming haha. So yeah overall it was a perfect stay for us (fifteen 28 year olds). Plus the property manager Joe could not have been quicker and more helpful with all his responses throughout the whole process, I was super appreciative of that. There was a public beach just a 15 minute walk from the house too, I wasn’t sure about that before coming but it was super easy to get to. Pier 32 I think. But yeah great stay, I’d stay here again for sure

Great location
The property and layout were great. However, the property has many deferred maintenance problems and needs much updating. That being said, I’d take my family back there again.

Great house and great location
Annual golf trip to the southeast. Found this gone on VRBO which is always kind of scary if you can’t be there to actually see it. This house was perfect for 8 of us and the location on Kiawah. The property manager was helpful and responsive to my inquiries.

Fun vacation on Kiawah Island!
Wonderful house with LOTS of space for large families. It has a big pool to enjoy and lots of decks to watch golfers. Lots of bedrooms and baths for guests. Great kitchen and large living spaces. Conveniently located near beautiful path to beach. Renting bikes are helpful for hauling all your stuff to the beach. The beach is fabulous and very wide at low tide. Lots of fun things to do on Kiawah and we loved all the bike paths that are all over the island. Highly recommend the house and location.

Great location/good value
Accommodated our family of 14 well. Joe responded quickly to a few issues. WiFi is limited. Clearly not a pristine property for Kiawah standards, but it was clean and spacious. A number of items need repair & update. Great location to get to the beach on the bike trail. Appreciated all the space and overall we were satisfied.
