Our family was in town for my father in law’s services at Arlington National Cemetery and needed a larger home for all of us to be together. This home was perfect for that. We each had our own space yet plenty of areas to gather.
Susan the host was excellent with communication and accommodating when we needed something.
We can say that being in this house made a difficult time a little easier.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful with lots of room for everyone and very well appointed too! The owner was very attentive to our plans. Highly recommended by everyone in our family.

Perfect location for drives to Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and DC.
Plenty of rooms for all 13 family members to enjoy the stay.

House was great for our 3 generation family vaca. Loved the large dining areas so we could all sit together for meals. Owner was quick to attend to a couple of issues that came up. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family has had an annual gathering for the past eight years. This property was by far the most lovely, comfortable and welcoming! The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. Multiple spaces to gather together. All was just lovely. Not only did we enjoy the inside, but the porches were wonderful in the morning. The yard was perfect for kickball and wiffleball games. Susan was very quick and attentive in her communication with us. We can highly recommend this lovely house.

I had taken my daughters to D.C. when they were 8 and 10 - and they still talk about it. They have their own children now who range in age from 7 to 17 and we wanted them to have the same experience. We found the perfect house that would accommodate all 11 of us for the week.
This "Huge Gilded-Age Home" allowed us plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as spacious common areas that provided for various activities. The well stocked kitchen was awesome, with wonderful appliances and plenty of seating. The location is close to the Metro which made trips into D.C. very painless.
The "grands" will hopefully be talking about this trip the way their mothers have. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us.

The property is beautiful and peaceful. It is more stocked with creature comforts and things you need at a house that you dont even realize you need until you do. When i did contact the owner sheas very communicative. I would definitely recommend this VRBO. The TV in living room and media equipment in theatre are kind of confusing...

Trip to DC was great and the VRBO was great. We had great communication from Susan prior to our arrival and instructions were easy to follow. The house was huge and could have easily accommodated our entire family.

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay in DC with 11 family members. Plenty of space, and completely stocked with all necessities for relaxing and cooking. A quick under 10 minute drive to the metro. The host was fabulous and responsive. We would love to stay here again, thank you so much!

We had an excellent family vacation over Spring Break. The house is amazing, with lots of amenities and space for all 11 of us to spread out and a huge yard the kids enjoyed running around in. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well stocked. The kitchen had anything supply one could possibly need to cook meals from simple to gourmet. We especially appreciated the pantry staples with just about any spice or cooking oil you may need. There were plenty of entertainment options available including the movie theatre screen, games and workout area. Susan was prompt in her communication and provided very clear, detailed information for check-in, check-out and tips on navigating the area. We highly recommend this rental!

This was the perfect house for our family! We enjoyed every aspect of this beautiful home. It had every amenity that you would need and then some. Susan was a wonderful host and was helpful with anything we would have needed. The location was convenient to our tourist destinations and we cannot wait to book this property again!

The house was exactly as listed and then some. Our family got together for a long overdue reunion and used just about every part of the house, the huge porch and backyard. The house had everything we could have possibly needed so we were able to really relax and enjoy our time together. The location is convenient to both attractions and transportation. Susan was a great host, responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend and hope we have another occasion to come back!

Hi Susan, we are on the road back to Cincinnati and I just want to tell you how much we enjoyed your awesome home… And I think we used every square inch! From the basketball hoop to coffee on the deck to watching a football game in the media room to singing hymns and patriotic songs at the grand piano to Using just about every tool in the wonderfully equipped kitchen… Our families just loved it! The kids loved your books, the dads loved the pool table, and it was really a home away from home for us. Thank you.

A beautiful house and property. The house did not have a 'rental property" feel and was tastefully furnished. The kitchen was large and well outfitted with all the necessary utensils and dishware.

This is an excellent property. The kitchen, front porch and large family room were some of the many great spaces that our family enjoyed.

My large family stayed for wedding week and were thrilled to have found this home! What a gem! The bedrooms/bathrooms worked well for our group, the kitchen was extremely well stocked, the media room was used for family gatherings, and the piano was an added bonus for us!
Thanks for having enough towels and other supplies to make our stay so relaxed. We hope we will have a reason to return to this fabulous home!

My family had a wonderful experience staying in this home. Susan, the homeowner, made the experience truly seamless by always being available, responsive and accommodating. There was more than enough room and space for my family so that no one felt crowded. Each room (and floor) of the house is unique, and had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. Although the house is a short drive from all the main attractions in the area, including downtown Vienna, our most enjoyable time was spent in the rocking chairs and swing on the wrap around front porch in our own little oasis.

This home is gorgeous! It is conveniently located near the silver line of the Metro and shops and restaurants. If you are planning a trip to Washington. DC, this is the place to stay!

Our family and friends had a wonderful stay in Vienna! The house was amazing! The amount of space in the house was exceptional! The media room was a hit! The location was probably one of the best surprises. There is any type of restaurant you could imagine within 5 minutes. Traveling to downtown DC never took more than about 15 minutes. Communication with the property owners was fantastic. I would highly recommend this home for your next family getaway!

Very large home with room for 16+ - ages 8 mo to 80! Easy to share breakfasts and dinners, and easy distance to all the DC sights. Owner was also most gracious answering questions! Love love loved it!

This home was completely, family oriented. The ground were amazing. We had a wonderful family connecting stay. Notice I am using the word home. This property is a home rental, not a house. Thank you Susan, for a wonderful home to made family memories.

Wonderful, large clean home with lovely wrap-around porch in southern style with large white pillars. Perfect for family gatherings/bigger groups. Lots of space. Fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. Wonderful hosts. We would stay again if we were in the area. We had everything we needed and no problems whatsoever! Thank you so much for the great place to stay while at USNA graduation.

The property is amazing....attention to detail everywhere! It is centrally located, fully appointed, and every member of our family was comfortable and felt well taken care of....not an easy task for 16 adults from all over the US! The piano was actually played by several members of our family, bringing absolute joy to all:) The owners were very responsive when a slight issue came up in the kitchen, and we really appreciated the extra effort that the owners took to leave detailed instructions for all the amenities included in the property. I would rent this again in a heartbeat, and would recommend it to anyone who asks. Thank you so much, Susan, for making my son's wedding weekend a wonderful one!

We recently stayed at a property for a week and we have to say, we were blown away by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that greeted us upon arrival. From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt right at home. The owners had clearly gone out of their way to make sure that every detail was taken care of, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful touches like the array of toys in the game room.
The location of the property was also fantastic - nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a stone's throw away from all the action. Whether we were looking to explore the local shops and restaurants, or simply relax and soak up the beautiful surroundings, everything was conveniently located within easy reach.
But what really stood out to us was the amazing ambience of the property. From the soft lighting to the soothing color scheme, everything worked together to create a truly peaceful and relaxing environment. Whether we were lounging on the couch or enjoying a meal at the dining table, we always felt completely at ease.
Overall, we cannot recommend this property highly enough. If you are looking for a huge warm and welcoming home away from home, with a great location and amazing ambience, then this is the place for you.

We are four girlfriends from college who decided to plan a trip to DC where our 10 kids could finally meet one another and we could show them our nations capital. The house could not have been more perfect for this reunion. From the upstairs Rec room to the amazing movie theatre, the kids had plenty of safe space to gather and play while the adults were able to catch up. The kitchen is huge and well stocked with appliances and dinner wear. We made good use of the waffle maker! The lawn provided plenty of outdoor space for them to run and play. There were more than enough beds/bedrooms to accommodate our group of 16. Finally, the location is perfect for getting in and out of DC without too many headaches or hassle, whether you drive, uber, or take the metro (about a 6 minute drive away). We were so grateful for this house and the wonderful memories we made there.

A perfect place for our far-flung family to congregate for my mother’s service at Arlington National Cemetery and my sister-in-law’s mother’s inurnment at National Memorial Park in Falls Church.

Perfect for our large group. Room for kids to run outside. Enjoyed every moment. Thank you!

We had a service at Arlington with family flying in from across the country. The house was in a perfect location. We did all meals at the house and were pleasantly surprised with the number and variety of kitchen spices, dishes and serving platters.
With such a big house, we were surprised that there was only one refrigerator (not even a small drink refrigerator available which would have been very helpful), one stove and one dishwasher.
Overall, a great house - as long as you can climb stairs.
The owner was reachable and answered all of our questions even late at night.
Thank you for a lovely weekend!

We are a church youth group from New Orleans and need a place large enough for a group of 16 within walking distance of the metro rail. This place was way beyond our wildest dreams: spacious, clean, beautiful, quiet, peaceful, fully equipped with everything needed and more. Property owner was fabulous. Already booked again for next year. Beautiful home away from home. We were so blessed when we found Susan and her beautiful home. Thanks Susan for treating us like family and allowing us to stay in your home.

My husband, dog, and I had a very nice time. The location was great for skiing/snowboarding and it was also very close to the lake which was great for walking the dog. We were very satisfied with our stay and would love to go back to explore in the warmer months as well.

property was perfect for family and friends from california, colorado, illinois, pennsylvania, maryland and virginia to share each other's company over a long weekend while attending mom, gramma, great-gramma's inurnment in arlington, where dad was inurned back in 2018. everyone was pleased, if not impressed with the property.

The house was absolutely beautiful and accommodating for our needs. We even used the baby grand piano as our prayer group worshipped together. Do be prepared for lots of stairs however! We would love to stay again on our next visit.

The house was in a Great neighborhood, we always felt safe. It is a large well laid out house with plenty of room for everyone. Loved the kitchen. It had everything you could need. The playroom was great for the little ones, they found plenty to entertain themselves.
5.0
Amazing house on an amazing property! This was my very first VRBO booking. The house is huge with a very large back yard for kids to play. Great for families. I sat outside and had coffee most mornings. My stay was with my wife, daughter, and mother-in-law. We had way more space than we needed the house could have fit many more people. Also very well appointed (towels, pillows, blankets, kitchen items, etc.). Fantastic "chefs" kitchen was great for preparing meals at home, good bedroom layouts, and the home theater room was a bonus we didn't expect. I think we spent every evening in there!
The owner was welcoming and very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. I have family in the DC area we visit often, we are already looking to rent this house again!
