About this house rental
Beautiful sunsets and awesome panoramic views await you just steps from this Newport Beach vacation home on the Balboa peninsula. This vacation home is the lower unit of a duplex and is one house away from the sand, walking distance from park, basketball court, tennis court, and Newport Pier on the boardwalk.
If you need a larger place, our upstairs (4 bedrooms) may be available some weeks during the Summer: VRBO Listing #852330
This is not the typical vacation rental. The house is clean and comfortable. The lot is 50% larger than normal. If you enjoy music, the property has a state of the art audio / video system. Wireless internet also provided. If, you have small children, the house has been professionally child proofed.
A sliding glass door opens up from the living room to the patio area where you can read and relax while enjoying the ocean breeze on the 600sq foot tiled patio.
If you enjoy eating out, there are 50+ restaurants within walking distance. Our guests are always happy with the accommodations. My favorite activity is sitting on the patio with a newspaper and watching everyone riding, roller blading or just walking by.
In summer, winter, spring, or fall, this NON-SMOKING vacation home is definitely all about location, rest, and relaxation. Step out to the ocean and watch the dolphins swim by or enjoy views of Catalina Island.
Master Bedroom has King bed. Second bedroom has two single beds and a third single pull out (trundle) under the single by the window. In addition, basic starter kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies are provided. There are no silly extra fees for laundry, cleaning, linens, etc...
The house is professionally cleaned after each guest. In the summer we enjoy opening the windows and letting the ocean breeze roll through the house.
This vacation home includes a carport and a second car can park behind the carport. The property also includes boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, beach toys, and coolers..
You will be walking distance from great restaurants, live music, and shops in the heart of the peninsula. If you are looking for activities, there are plenty to choose from - walking along the ocean, biking, roller blading, boogie boarding, surfing, sailing, boat rentals, whale watching, trips to Catalina Island, fishing, shopping at Fashion Island or South Coast Plaza and more.
This rental is just 15 minutes from John Wayne Airport, 20 minutes from Disneyland, California Adventure, and a short drive from Los Angeles International Airport, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, Long Beach Aquarium, Queen Mary, Getty Museum, and many other tourist attractions.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the check-in time is 1:30 pm and the departure time is 10 am.
Please be advised that this is NOT a party house. My family lives in the other unit.

Home is right across the street from the beach. Many amenities. Very clean upon check in. Manager communicated well and went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend!

This property is just a few steps away from the beach. You can hear the waves! It was clean and great for relaxation. The TV was a little hard to use to many remotes, and maybe they could add another TV in the master bedroom. But overall the property is great for the price we paid.

We had a fantastic stay! Yasmin was very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. We were able to cook, eat, and relax as a family. Being that close to the beach afforded us plenty of opportunities for great walks. Incredible sunrises and sunsets. My family’s favorite part of the stay was the patio. We had lots of family time and enjoyment out there.

Great location, great property! Listing is accurate. Would definitely stay there again. Newport Beach is all about outdoor spaces and this place did not disappoint! View of sand/beach from patio and this time of year you can see the sun set from space.

We have stayed at Newport every year for the last decade. We just tried this place for the first time and it will be our new spot to go. The hosts are so responsive and helpful and went above and beyond with recommendations and accommodations for our family and kids. We always stay close to the sand but for the price this is the closest with the best view! The patio and great room are huge and perfect for hanging out and relaxing or eating dinner/ enjoying a drink as the sun sets. The boogie boards are actually nice and straps still attached. So many sand toys and chairs! Kitchen is fully stocked and beds are comfortable for sleeping! Only downside is we need to plan ahead because it’s booked out so far!

We had a great week in Newport. Yazmin and her family were perfect hosts. The location was perfect and the home was even better than our expectations. An unexpected bonus was the addition of 2 adorable golden retriever pups the owners had just received. It was a treat getting to interact with them if we happened to see them coming in from their walks. Looking forward to staying here again in the fall.

Me and my 2 daughters stayed here for a little getaway. We would most definitely stay here again. It was very good and had everything we needed or could have needed. It was also clean and just as pictured. Owners were good at communicating.

We had a great stay at Yazmin and Robert’s house in January 2023. The house is comfortable, spacious and very clean. Plenty of kitchen supplies and good quality beds and linens. Outdoors seating area was beautiful and there were plenty of beach toys, chairs and umbrella. Yazmin and Robert were also very kind hosts going above and beyond with some last minute travel hiccups. We would highly recommend this house and will be returning to stay again soon!

Great location near market, pier. Cross a one way street and you’re on the beach. Stocked with lots of kitchen items and towels, beach chairs, etc. Bbq was available. The owners were great. I highly recommend this site.

Best California beach house
This property has everything. Close to the beach, large patio, bikes, boogie boards, close to restaurants….literally everything. The hosts were so kind and attentive. The house was clean and there was plenty of space. Best Cali vacation!!

The patio is fabulous. We spent much of our time on it. The condo is spacious and 1/2 block to the beach.
This is the best-stocked rental I've ever stayed at--bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, ample linens, fully stocked kitchen...There is a very nice bathroom outside with a washer/dryer, new shower and toilet. I needed help lighting the fire pit and the owner was down in literally 2 minutes. We WILL stay here again!

Fun at the BEACH
We had a great stay in Newport. The host was very friendly and very accommodating. The house is very spacious and much bigger than expected. No need to bring your beach items. They are available at the house, even bikes if you want to cruise. We most definitely will return. We loved enjoying the sand, water, sun, and ocean breeze!

This house was excellent due to the large patio outside. At some point in the day we had around 16 people for lunch and chill out in the evening around the fire pit. We had used the new bikes many times since we could not go to the beach due to the oil spill. We had an issue with the bath sink, and Robert Ranger had someone fix it in the early morning. They are really great and took care of the property. Overall, this location is great and very close to shops and the boardwalk at 32nd street. Also the outside bathroom and laundry units were a plus. We used them on a daily bases.

This property was awesome! Loved the location and the owners were great and communication was prompt. The house was relaxing and fit our needs. Enjoyed the beach and walking and riding bikes everyday! We will return for sure!

Fantastic location, all the amenities you could want
We stayed at this property for a girls' birthday weekend and we couldn't have been happier. It was located a block from the beach, so we could even hear the waves from the patio. All of the beach gear was provided (towels, chairs, umbrellas) and because we were only a block from the beach we could stay on the beach all day and easily walk back and forth to the house to use the bathrooms. Great location! It was also awesome to have the bikes available to use -- riding up and down the beach boardwalk is a must! The outdoor patio is huge with a great table and areas to hang out. Our only complaint was not knowing ahead of time that there is no AC in the house. We were there during an unseasonably hot stretch, so it was a little difficult to sleep at night with no air. We learned later that not many of the homes in that area have AC since the weather is typically so nice you don't need it. Most of the time you are there you will not miss it! They did provide plenty of fans, though, so that was very nice. Yazmin was very attentive and an awesome host. She responded to any question we had quickly and was very nice about everything. I'd definitely stay in this house again. Thank you for making our vacation great!

Beautiful stay on Newport Beach
This home was perfect for us. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfortable. There were many ocean toys and chairs and even paddle boards available. The patio was our favorite part. I was able to sit on the patio in the morning and have coffee while looking at the beach and ocean. We worked out on the patio, sunbathed and people watched. Great property!

Great Location
The house was in a great location, on the corner of the beach entrance. The outdoor patio was large and great for people watching. The house was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.
The parking is definitely tricky but I have a large SUV and I was able to park. You just have to go in at an angle.
