Cute cabin, very fun for wine lovers, ni e gaming room upstairs and spacious firepit outside. No view of the mountains but the woods around the cabin it gives a nice privacy.

Had a relaxing week-long stay in this cabin, literally “amongst the trees” in northern GA. Very quiet neighborhood, enough things to see and do such as hikes to waterfalls, tubing, mini golf & mountain coaster rides. Very secluded location.

Cabin was as expected.
Steep hill for parking.

Accommodations were great. Absolutely beautiful space. Text messaging made this rental and all details needed very easy!!

I absolutely love this location! I want to gate keep it bc it was very affordable and simply perfect. I particularly like the notes the owner has left explaining how to do certain things like turn on the shower (not as easy as one would think!) and how to work the dryer. Again - it was perfect!

The cabin was as advertised. Extremely secluded and the views getting in and out were beautiful in itself. The drive to Unicoi and Helen were doable at any time. Highly recommend and would return.

This property was beautiful, spacious and fully stocked with everything. I’ve never been to a cabin that had so many games to choose from. We were never bored inside. The cabin was close to the city, ruby falls and the spa. The bedding was very comfortable. I would definitely return for another trip to Buckhorn!

Beautiful area to relax and get away from your everyday routines for a weekend.

This is a great place to get away! We enjoyed exploring the region during the day and relaxing by a fire in the fire pit each evening. Buckhorn Cabin is definitely the place to kick back, take a break, and renew your spirit.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin and visiting Helen for the first time. The cabin was very clean, had plenty of space and everything we needed. It was a very good location to the town and we will definitely be back.

For this price point the place was great. Only complaint was the pool table was in very poor condition.

Good location to Helen. Hot tub broke and quick response. Nice and clean cabin

This cabin was perfect for our stay. The kids enjoyed the loft with games and pool table, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook/grill, the extras provided (miniature soap, shampoo, conditioner, extra TP and paper towels, dish soap and dishwashing tablets) were nice and kept us from having to purchase all of that for a short stay.
The listing shows the wood burning fireplace as the only heat source, but the cabin does have central heat/air which made a difference with temps in the 20s/30s at night. The fire pit outside was perfect for roasting marshmallows or just enjoying a campfire.
The beds were comfortable, the location is convenient to the town of Helen, plus hiking trails to waterfalls (Anna Ruby and Duke's Creek).
I would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay here again.
Five stars!

We loved everything about this cabin! So warm and relaxing! Can't wait to stay again.

The cabin is lovely. It’s right down the road from Anna Ruby Falls. The hot tub was nice. The pool table (the reason I chose Buckhorn) was in poor condition and unusable for a serious game.

Good location. Family enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, grill, and all the games. Both bathrooms are inside the two king bedrooms, so we had to leave bedroom doors open for people who slept in the loft to access the bathroom. The washer/dryer combo is not user friendly at all. It is loud, tiny, instructions are not clear, and there is a button inside the handle that has to be pressed to close the door. It does not seem to have a dry only option, and even the quick wash was very long (machine displayed 5 hour cycle time!) The pillows were flat and did not have pillow protectors. The driveway is steeper than it looks in the pics, which was difficult to park two cars and for family with mobility issues. Spiderwebs were pretty bad; we expect a few in a house in the woods, but the porch lights were covered with webs and there were quite a few in corners of the rooms. The back porch and grill needed some deep cleaning, but everything else was clean. Suggest adding a large skillet to the kitchenware.

We rented this cabin for the screen room and hot tub and were unable to use any of it due to filth, cobwebs, active spider webs and dead bugs everywhere, filthy hot tub with debris, dirt, musty moldy smell and rotting cover. The entire cabin was filthy and we had to purchase cleaning supplies just to use kitchen surfaces and bathrooms. Every appliance was filthy - stove and oven gross, coffee maker and carafe gross, toaster unusable, microwave door and handle previously broken and poorly glued. Overall, we paid almost $1,600 to watch TV and play board games for 4 days. Could have done that at home for free. Requested refund of cleaning and amenity fees, sent multiple requested pics and Never heard another word. Very disappointed.

Located in a great spot. Close to Helen and other parks. Needs a good facelift. The pictures are misleading. Most likely taken a very long time ago. But we still had a great time with family. And loved the 2 king suites

God location but the cabin needs more attention in cleaning. 🧽

The property was well maintained in a quiet neighborhood. Just a few minutes from Helen. My teenagers loved the pool table and all the games. Thankfully there is a washer/dryer combo for laundry. Such a quiet relaxing place. Would definitely go again. 5 stars!!!

We absolutely loved the property. The only thing we wished would have been for a little warmer weather. Everything was great. The only minor complaint would be the hot tub dropped on temperature to 90 degrees. We couldn’t figure out how to make it warmer. Other than that no issues we will definitely be coming back in the spring.

Very easy to get to Helen. Very close to awesome North GA hikes, parks, and waterfalls. Great neighborhood. Very clean cabin, appreciated the Autumn decor. Loved that they had kitchen items that we tend to forget (salt/pepper, olive oil, tin foil). The loft entertained my 6 yo with games, pool, and darts. WiFi was great, TV was great. The loft had a desk with a second monitor… great for a teleworking… just hook your laptop up for a 2-screen set up.
The hot tub was functional, however, water was murky. That concerned us. Maybe it was the granular bleach…? But the bottom of the tub was also slippery and kinda slimy.
Other than that, would totally recommend the cabin and would absolutely stay there again.

This cabin is like something out of a fairytale, for the most part. I enjoyed my stay. There were some definite drawbacks that would keep me from returning, though. The shower head in the front bedroom needs to be cleaned. It was covered in scum. The trash can in the kitchen had some brown splatter all over the side of it from a previous guest. And the hot tub. The hot tub is the main reason I would not return. The cover smelled so badly of mold and mildew that none of us wanted to touch it. The water in the hot tub was tinted green. I had an open wound and it got infected after being in the hot tub. There was also a strange, slippery film coating the inside of the tub. I slipped and fell upon first entering. Please replace that cover and clean that hot tub. I'm very lucky that my injuries were not severe enough to warrant a hospital visit. Someone else might not be so lucky. Everything else was wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay with our two toddlers. Plenty of family friendly activities, and the home was so cute! The Christmas decor was a wonderful surprise.

Communication with the owners was fast and very much appreciated and accomadating even though a short turnover time was expected for the next guests! Amenities were much more than other places i have stayed. Including salt pepper dish detergent and paper towels. And especially coffee. Pool table magnets darts and hot tub was wonderful and large tv with multiple options was also nice. Privacy even when curtains were open all nice. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay at Buckhorn! The cabin was clean and close to town. Will be back!
