We had the best time and we plan on going back soon!!! So much to do around the area and the host had good breakfast things in the fridge for us! Just a good time just wish they had let you know on the site that you dont have a water front view you have to walk a block to get to the water and its just a bridge cant really swim or float from there

I enjoyed the comfortable cabin. I just wish I had known about the stairs. My friend could not stay with me because of the stairs

Cozy cabin with everything we needed. VERY comfortable king sized bed. Wifi was spotty, but there was inclement weather. There is a walk from parking area to cabin. Not an issue for younger people, but two 70ish seniors with bad backs did find it difficult to maneuver luggage. The stay was quiet and peaceful. The boutique on property has some of the cutest clothing!!!

Cabin #1 is a super-cozy hideaway on Old Ingram Loop, with a huge comfortable king bed and quirky, interesting decorations. It's one of 3 cabins in a fenced area; parking is outside the fence so luggage must be carried in a short distance on a flagstone walkway. Dog loved the "yard." There are steps up to the lovely front porch, which is the perfect place to lounge after a day of sightseeing in the hill country. Listen to the live music from the nearby wine bar from the comfort of your porch! The cabin amenities are exactly as described, and the fridge was well stocked with hot or cold breakfast options. Check-in and out was easy, and the host communicated thoroughly. A perfect place for 2-3 people spending time in this beautiful area.

We ended up coming in a day early, Stephanie was accommodating on getting the place ready a day early. Bed was huge and very comfortable (this is a requirement for us!). Our dog had plenty of space to roam (small dog). We spent a lot of time on the porch, enjoying the weather.

My fiancé and I loved the room and all the amenities it came with. We had a relaxing vacation and really enjoyed our peaceful stay in the cabin.

The cabin (#1) was exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious, wonderfully furnished, and private. Stephanie is so nice and welcoming, and her boutique is adorable, too. We will definitely book here again.

This property had what we were looking for; charm, scenic
views and wonderful hospitality.

Not exactly a real bed and breakfast, breakfast is not made and served to you as it should be in a B&B. Overall a great place, the bed was outstanding!, live music was playing from the venue behind the house so turned out we got FREE entertainment, food was provided for you to make your own breakfast, not quite on the river or even able to see the river, streaming services were very laggy, TV hooked up with cable!, and washer and dryer were available to do laundry!
Overall great location and would stay again.

Great stay at the Wishing Well B&B, cabin #1. The kitchen was well-stocked with eggs, milk, juices, bread, muffins and cereals. We had not been to this area of TX and did exploring with the B&B as "base camp". Highly recommend it.

I traveled to Ingram for a watercolor workshop and found this place on VRBO. It was located only minutes from The Point Art Center, where the workshop was conducted. Not only was it convenient, but it was quiet, cute as a button, clean, and welcoming. I would stay there again.

It was all we needed for our two nights. Our favorite part was the front porch with the cool breeze. Comfortable bed.
What would have made it better:
We have some difficulty with 2 sets of stairs and the uneven path. Also, there is a small height differentiation between kitchen and living room, which tripped me a little bit, frequently. We needed a place for a 3rd person and this was rented as sleeping 4. However the futon is right next to the bed. It worked out our grandson was able to stay with our daughter who was in the other cabin and better for the 3rd person. Her cabin #3had no stairs and was probably twice as large. For 3 or 4, #3 is better than #2. Perhaps asking if the stairs would be a problem would be advisable.

Our stay at the Wishing Well B&B was just what we need. Nestled behind a cute boutique on the Old Ingram Loop, allowed us the quiet privacy we were seeking but close to all the restaurants, shopping, and site seeing we craved. The cabin itself was the perfect amount of space for us filled with cute antique decor. The host Stephanie did a great job making us feel welcome. We will definitely go back.

The cabin in adorable. It’s the perfect size for 2 people. Very clean, and well kept. The fridge was well stocked, as well as coffee & tea K-cups. We really enjoyed our stay and Stephanie was very sweet. She gave great recommendations of places to see, shop and eat. Her boutique, and coffee shop are located on the same property, are fantastic. Cute clothes, shoes, jewelry and Knick-Knacks. The cabin feels like you’re far away, but you’re just a quick 2 min drive into town. There is a delicious wine bar directly behind the cabins. Convenient to walk through the property and directly into the bar…live music on the weekends. We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect quiet little place, to get away. It felt like a home, away from home.

Stephanie has made this cabin cozy and welcoming, providing anything a person would need while away from their own home. The refrigerator was stocked with all we needed for a big breakfast every day before leaving to do our sightseeing as well as some unexpected but yummy snacks in other places in the cabin. Having left our home when it was snowing, we were pleased to sit in the sunshine on comfortable patio seating and listen to the birds sing while we sipped wine from a local winery. If we visit the Hill Country of Texas again, we'd certainly return to this cabin!

My fiancé and I found this cabin to be cozy and inviting. It was in a sense “enchanting.”
We plan to return very soon. We made an excellent choice. Our host was hospitable and wanted to make sure that we had a nice stay, which we did.

The cabin was charming, warm and inviting. Ingram is a wonderful small town with interesting things to explore like the Stonehenge replica. The hostess runs a cute botique and coffee shop right on the property. We will definetely be back.

Our stay at the Wishing Well was perfect, very relaxing which is just what we needed. . Enjoyed sitting on the nice porch with morning coffee and really appreciated being able to bring our pug and not having to leave her behind. Great experience!

We had a great experience at The Wishing Well B&B! You really do get a bed AND breakfast here. (The fridge is stocked for you!) The day it rained we were content to stay in the beautiful cabin with ALL the attention to detail, and the other days we ventured to nearby towns. In Hunt, we saw the beautiful Fall foliage. In Boerne and Fredericksburg, we did lots of shopping and dining and enjoyed the Christmas lights. Another added perk is the onsite boutique, Perfect Surroundings. It's awesome, and Stephanie was so helpful and had great sales on Black Friday weekend!

This was a great location with a lot of attention to detail. Very clean and cozy. Located slightly away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to local wineries and restaurants.

Wonderful & spacious cabin in Ingram!
My husband and I were in the area for 2 nights for the Kerrville Folk Festival. This cabin had it all and more. Very spacious, comfy couch to chill and watch Turner Classic Movies when we were relaxing. The outdoor areas (yes, areas) were delightful. Nice private and quiet space on the open porch and table and chairs a few steps down under the cooling trees. Very peaceful water feature attracted many birds. Surprisingly, our frig was full of milk, juices, muffins, cereals, and microwavable breakfast sandwiches. Also, the Ozarka water cooler (with both hot and cold spigots) was very appreciated. Thank you for a delightful stay!

Home away from home
We have stayed at the Wishing Well a few times. This has become or go to place for a hill country get away. Stephanie thinks of everything, so appreciate the breakfast items to choose from in the mornings. You feel right at home at each of the cabins. Thanks for everything! P.S. there is a Winery directly behind that has music on the weekends. They stop the music around 10. It was nice to walk over there and have a glass of wine and listen to the band. You could also enjoy the music from the front porch of your cabin.

Wishing well is quaint and very peaceful.
The cottage/cabin was just perfect for a getaway. It is centrally located to Fredericksburg, and San Antonio. We made day trips and the cabin was a nice come home to from a long day. The weather was colder than expected but otherwise the outside deck would have been a perfect gathering spot to just sit and have a cup of coffee. Also check out the store Stephanie has some very cute items. Side not make sure to plan accordingly as the town is pretty much shut down on Tuesdays. We rearranged days and still had a great time. If you are lost Stephanie was a great help for local things. Great cabin and host. We will definitely stay here again if we head that way.

Nicely decorated with lots of thoughtful touches - even bread, milk, cereal, eggs and snacks! The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the patio was a nice place to relax. We would definitely love to stay here again when we visit the area.
