There were 9 of us and two fur babies! The house was perfect. Every couple had their own room and bathroom. We had the best week. We celebrated a 50th birthday and a proposal on the beach!
The house is designed perfectly! Open, airy and spacious! Sliding door balconies off of each bedroom. They didn’t miss a beat! Overlooking the sound and the ocean access right across the street provided plenty of beach walks for shell and sea glass searching. The sunsets at this end of the island are magnificent.
The management team is so friendly and helpful. They were absolutely wonderful. As a matter of fact, everyone on the island was super nice and welcoming! We thought we would cook more, and we did buy a ton of shrimp and cook it, but we also spent our money on local restaurants and they did not disappoint. It was the perfect week!

I wanted to love this house but I just could not. There were 2 very large holes in the floor between the kitchen and living area. Master bedroom sheets were covered in dog hair and dirt. Chairs in living room were also covered in dog hair and dirt. The refrigerators smelled so bad of rotting seafood that we could not even open them for the first 2 days we were there. The bathrooms were not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was hair from multiple body parts in the shower and on the sinks of multiple bathrooms. There was dog hair and dirt ALL over the stairs and on the landing at the top of the stairs. There was no propane for the grill and it had what looked like about a years worth of build up on it. One of the beds smelled strongly of urine and several of the mattress pads and pillows had dried blood on them. The beds were very uncomfortable and made sleeping very difficult.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and a great view of the gulf and the bay. Thank you.

This house is amazing and was perfect for our family vacation. There were 13 of us and everyone enjoyed the home. The decks and pool got a lot of use. We enjoyed the beach and the surrounding area. The kitchen was perfect size for a large group. Bedrooms were good size and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Would highly recommend! This place is beautiful!

Perfect house for 6 adults and 5 children 6 & under. Still warm enough for pool time and being in the bay was nature’s playground for these kids. Dads and grandad could fish and still watch the kids. The migrating butterflies, the fish, blue crabs, sand crabs, sting rays, hermit crabs and more made up for the older kids missing a week and of 5k! They had so
Much to see, learn, & experience. Trips to
Bird sanctuary and Estuarium topped it off.
The house was plenty big for spreading out and sleeping all of us comfortably. Very well stocked kitchen. Had our groceries delivered abd we needed nothing else! The dart game and other games were fun. Kids brought a kayak and the lagoon was perfect for that.
So close to the gulf that we had easy access to waves but so much easier on the bay with these small children. We would book this house again in an instant!!

The home itself is gorgeous and exactly as pictured. The home is very large with nice furnishings and beds were comfortable. The pool and deck are both clean and comfortable as well. The lagoon was not swimable in my opinion as the water was merky. The boardwalk was nice and led to a small beach area of the bay with the lagoon on the other side. Walking distance across the street to the ocean although you have to walk between other homes to access the ocean. The only access road on the island was pretty well covered in water our entire stay as we did experience some rain so bike riding was not an option. My main complaint is that there is a new home being built right next door to this home and has appeared to have been started some time ago. There were construction workers there every week day which was loud and did interfere with our enjoyment of the deck and the pool. It is about 15 feet from this home. The photos on the listing do not accurately describe this since they show no close neighbors on the photos. It does look like there will be construction going on for several months to come so beware of this if you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation.

We loved the house! Views from every room! The flow of the house was perfect for our group of 9! The decor was perfect, the beds were comfy, the kitchen was great, every detail was well-thought (we especially loved the labels everywhere!!). Dauphin Island is a secret treasure! The weather didn’t cooperate for us, but we had so much fun anyway! We can’t wait to come back!! Thanks for a memorable trip... it was amazing!

Gorgeous house and the pool overlooks the bay! The kids had a blast playing in the sand. The breeze on the deck fools you into thinking it is cooler than it is. I would go back in a heartbeat!

The house was perfect and we had an amazing time! We had made our reservations prior to the stay at home orders/closures and took a "wait and see" attitude on whether to make the trip or not. We were hesitant to go, but are glad we made the trip. A few of the restaurants on the island were open for take out and we hired a local company, Dauphin Island Hospitality, to deliver our groceries for us the day we arrived so we wouldn't have to go into Mobile. I would highly recommend using them even if the virus is not a concern for the convenience of not having to stop and get groceries after a long trip (ours was 10 hours). We had a great time just staying at the house and enjoying the deck, pool and beach. The sunsets are gorgeous! Would definitely recommend choosing this house for your stay.

Loved the house and location! It’s an amazing house, new and up-to-date. It’s clean and comfortable - had EVERYTHING you would want in a beach house. Had many different types of seabirds checking out the lagoon in the backyard! The sunsets and sunrises were amazing - each porch and deck offered different, amazing views! Met a few business owners/workers from Dauphin Island - gave us suggestions of where to eat and what to do. Would definitely recommend this house and location for a relaxing vacation! For anyone who loves gardens, take a trip to Bellingrath Gardens in Theodore, Alabama - AMAZING!!! Miss it already!!!
