Nestled beneath a giant Cypress Tree, our cottage reveals breathtaking views of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Views from several rooms of the home reveal sand-pipers darting in and out of the waves, sea lions basking in the sun and agate gatherers strolling our wondrous coastline as crisp blue-green waves pound the shore.

Clean, all the amenities--including coffee and snacks, washer and dryer a nice touch, easy & close beach access, good large TV but no cable or satellite connection, so no way to watch watch live sports or common network shows. Location is great in all respects--especially to watch the ocean

This house was perfect for our trip to the Redwoods. Its location was very peaceful and quiet. The house had everything we needed and tons of space for our family of four. We loved watching the sunset from the beach and searching the tide pools in the morning.

The view is just the start of how great this house is! There is tons of space, its close to everything, and was the perfect landing spot for our visit to the Redwood National and State Forrests. We even drove up the coast to see some spectacular views in Oregon. Fantastic!

Perfect spot for touring the Redwoods. Beautiful sunsets right out the door.. Everything as pictured, kitchen stocked with plenty of cooking supplies. We would definitely come back again. Thanks for sharing

The house is very nice. Our stay was a bit chilly as the main heater didn't work. A space heater was brought and that helped. We couldn't really enjoy the front room though. The house does not have a wood stove, as listed in the description. So that was a disappointment. The location is great though and I am sure warmer weather would make the whole space more usable.

This home has everything you will need to enjoy your visit to Northern CA. Navigation is tricky, as we never found the street name, it's really not accessible by GPS's directions, it almost gets you there, but it takes you up a driveway that is technically the back of the home and I'm assuming the neighbors get annoyed by this. But you will recognize the property from the listing and realize that you can only access it from behind. Take Hemlock (LoL, to anyone who knows....) And follow it the few houses it goes and make a left where it ends. The home will be two houses on your left. It dead ends after that so you can't miss it. That is the only tricky thing, especially if you arrive at night. It's well lit with motion activated lights which were very appreciated. The heaters are on the bedroom walls and make the rooms nice and toasty really quickly. The sheets are some of the softest I've ever slept on. The ocean view from the sunroom is gorgeous. Clean and comfortable with amazing view. Well stocked and appointed. Nice layout so the view is everywhere. The garage was a nice bonus for loading and unloading the car in the rain. The only thing I would change would be the bar stools .They are too tall for the counters.

House is larger on the inside than it looked in the pictures. Very comfy beds. Nice sunroom overlooking the ocean. Located on a nice scenic drive. Very clean. Great restaurant and brewery nearby. Easy to walk down to beach. Wifi and free Netflix were nice.

Spent our 20th anniversary here; kid free weekend. Lots of great beaches to walk, redwood trails are close and the sunsets were magnificent. Home was larger than we thought, the fireplace was awesome and the lazy afternoons in the sunroom were great after a busy day. Would definitely come again.

I loved seeing the ocean every moment of every day. The house was great for our family of four. It was like being at home but close to the beach. We will come back every year for our family vacation. The only down fall was the lot in front of the house is in transition so, it was not a grass yard in front. I was looking forward to the grass space since we have young kids, we just ended up at the beach instead.

We were quite pleased with this property. Roomy, lots of storage, very clean, great location. Only two caveats: the TV in both the living room and bedroom are very user UNfriendly, but that's not really why you come to the beach. This darling home currently has a fabulous view of the ocean, but unfortunately impending construction will totally erase it. We watched a backhoe clear brush and begin to grade for a new two-story neighbor right in front of the picture windows. Very sad to see. However, as a comfortable lodging, it totally fits the bill.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 6 nights. The ocean was so close by and we spent many hours on the beach and even swam in the water. The redwoods were amazing and the Smith River was so clear and fun to play in as well. The house had everything we needed. We wished there were rugs by the exterior doors so that we could control the amount of sand that came in the house better. As it was, there were no rugs by the door so I bought one at Walmart! Worked great. Thank you so much. Would definitely stay there again.

Property was amazing. Location was excellent..just steps from a beautiful quiet beach. Within the first 24 hours I texted the property manager asking to extend our stay beyond 3 nights....but of course it was already booked. Next time I wont be so foolish!! Fantastic stay all the way around

Spent most of our awake hours in the sunroom - watching the waves and sunset. Amazing views and only a short 100 yard walk to the water. House was spacious for our family of five. House interior looks to be recently remodeled! Plumbing is a little older, yet still worked. Bicycle in the garage was a nice surprise. BBQ grill is heated by charcoal not propane. Since we did not see any charcoal around, we used the grill in the kitchen to cook hot dogs for the kids. When we left, kids asked if we could come back and spend a week (instead of a weekend) at this place. Almost every comment in the guest book was about the amazing ocean views. Highly recommend for the price and the views!
