This was a great fit for us. My son had his friends along so they had their own “space” in the lower level, and my daughter and I had plenty of room in the upstairs bedrooms. Nice kitchen and living area where we could all be together and the “kids” enjoyed the hot tub. The location was beautiful and “woodsy”. A few spiders joined us in the house, which was sort of expected anyhow. Was nice to have the washer/dryer on site. We loved the lake and surrounding sites. Definitely go see Muddy Creek Falls area during your stay!

Great place to stay

I originally booked an entirely different condo through VRBO which somehow was handed over to Vacasa. They put us in the WRONG condo. When I went to them the week before our trip I explained they messed up and I got the run around for two days, then was informed there was zero refund yet IT WAS THEIR FAULT. We had no other option than to stay at this location as everything in our price range was booked. The condo was very clean inside, but there were cobwebs all over the outside we had to clean just to get to the hot tub which would never turn off and was as loud as an industrial lawnmower, horrible and not able to use. The smart system in the condo is ridiculous. Nothing works, you can't find the lights and when I called Vacasa to have the air conditioning turned down (because you are not allowed to do it yourself apparently) I was told to deal with it basically. There are no decent glasses to drink from, the downstair area is awful where I had to put my two sons. The whole situation was ridiculous. The original condo I chose had beds for everyone. I will never book again! Oh and the photos on VRBO aren't even of the correct condo from the outside. It was insane!

We had some issues with the place but ultimately were solved by Vacasa management. Otherwise we love the location and layout of this property. We have stayed here for past 2 years and would rent again.

Great location on the slopes. It had all the kitchen necessities to cook our meals. Even saw a family of deers frolicking thru the back trees. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved having the hot tub and fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped and functional. Overall very clean. Only minor fault is that you can see through the non-existent seal on the back door, which made the first floor quit cold on the subzero temps

Location was pretty central to everything, and surrounding woods was a beautiful backdrop!

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and spacious and the hot tub was wonderful. It was a private location but just minutes from restaurants, shopping, and the lake.

My family of 4 (2 young adult sons, my husband and I) had a great time at this townhouse rental!
It was ready as promised & super easy to "check-in" using the key code that was provided to us to open the front door. (Checkout was also super easy - just lock the door and then tap on the link on your phone that is texted to you).
All of the rooms were spacious & comfortable for us.
We appreciated the Google-activated lights throughout however they were a bit confusing to use along with the air conditioning system.
The hot tub worked great, just be prepared to wait awhile for it to get over 100 if it's drained & filled the day that you get there (3 or so hours later than expected).
As others have also stated, we really liked the use of the cool ice machine along with the typical kitchen appliances.
Paper products, dishwasher tabs and detergent, laundry detergent, and toiletries provided were all that we needed.
Regarding the property use I found the lake access, which is found via a mini parking lot labeled Village at Wisp for guests.
- when you turn left on Marsh Hill road coming from the rental.
If you choose to walk to the lake access area it is about .5 miles and consider it a great way to get your walking workout in to and from the property.
We also appreciated being able to have Roku use in virtually every room, having access to various streaming sites.
We would stay here again 😀😀

We couldn't get in the house due to the code being incorrect. They told us that someone would reach out in 30 minutes so we left to grab a bite as it was raining hard. We then received a text with a new code so we drove back and that code didn't work so they sent a the third code that did not work either. A local contact finally reached out with the right code and we were able to get in. Surprised that this was such an issue as the lock was very standard. Anyways, it was a tough first impression but got better once we were able to get in. House is as advertised. I would not use VRBO or Vacasa again.

Great location, amenities, and cleanliness. Had a difficult time checking in - Vacasa was a pain to deal with - but worked out okay in the end. Was disappointed that the hot tub was not functioning upon arrival. Again, difficult time getting the message across to Vacasa, but Mike from the local Vacasa offices was helpful in getting a service worker out so the hot tub was serviceable for our second night on. Everything else about the property was great. We enjoyed our trip but think it would have been easier to navigate the issues we had had it been managed privately instead of through Vacasa.

The place is very nice. When there is snow, you need a 4-wheel drive car to get there as it is pretty steep. Think of bringing salt, pepper, water, oil, paper towels, aluminum foil or plastic wrap as there is nothing there.
The place has a hot tube unfortunately it was broken during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wooded Wonder! The rental agency provided everything we needed- sheets, towels, dish towels, dish liquid, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, etc. We were pleasantly surprised by the smart technology in the home controlling the lights and thermostat. Also, the smart TVs with Roku were much appreciated. We used the extra ice maker that makes Chick-Fila type ice. The beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was very relaxing! Thank you for such a nice vacation!

Can’t wait to stay again!’
We felt like we were at home & hated to leave! Very clean, the kids & I loved the hot tub 😃 Had every possible thing we could need already there including extra sheets, blankets, everything you could need in the kitchen & plenty of towels! I will admit I was super nervous going since the area was calling for 8-12” of snow & booking.com did not have any mention of the steep road & needing 4wd to get up in the winter(Vacasa is working on getting them to update their listing). However, the plows came through several times, at least once an hour, and my AWD Subaru Ascent had absolutely no issues getting up or down. We will be back!!

Weekend in the slopes
While the condo was nice and very cozy, the temp in the condo was cold and we were struggling with the thermostat as it would not get warmer. The privacy curtain was great and the condo was well kept for a weekend getaway.

Great place
Hello! We loved our stay here. Very good value. Enjoyed the hot-tub after skiing all day. The house was supplied with most everything you could need. It was a little chilly in the living room, but we made up for this by building a fire.

Bday/Bach Get Away
Bday/Bach celebration weekend. 30 min from winery and other attractions we did. Quiet neighborhood. Great for cold night in the hot tub. Comfy for four adult women. Unlike other VRBO houses we stayed in, there was already toilet paper in the bathrooms, bathroom products and cleaning products. We brought our own in case because we're used to NOTHING being supplied.

Quiet Stay
My only real issue with the location is the "queen" sized beds. My wife & I have a queen bed at home and that wasn't it. Other than that it was a lovely stay and we would definitely come back.

Definitely need an air conditioner. The house was very hot. Vacation ended early due to my husband having a heart attack

Super nice little upset
The place alone was very nice. Even though there was no AC it did cool down at night time. The beds were nice and clean the bathrooms as well. As far as the back deck went with the hot tub there was cigarette ashes on the porch and food laying around the table as it being sticky and not clean so we took our vacation time cleaning up others mess. But over all we had a great stay and a beautiful place! Thank you.

Family getaway
We stayed at your place this past weekend, it was clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. Hot tub was also nice. However, we are usually never complainers but wanted to let you know - my daughter took her shoes off at the front door, walked up the steps and stepped on an exposed tact strip! OUCH!! My husband followed and stepped on it also. The TV did not have a remote in the master bedroom upstairs and we had to look for the cable and connect it ourselves. The tv in the living area would not change channels or adjust volume for part of our stay. Also it was very warm in the upstarts bedrooms, we wanted to leave the door open but there was not a screen and bugs were coming in so that was not an option! We made the best of our stay, but wanted to advise you of the above issues, Not sure we would stay here again!
