About this house rental
My home was built in 1925. And has been renovated and maintained to the highest standard, while maintaining the charm and style of the 1920's. The "Pecky Cypress" front door is original to the house. The living room welcomes you, with gleaming hard wood floors, a mix of antiques and modern furniture, all done in crisp white & navy.
The "Florida" room envelops you in cozy warmth, painted in a custom Benjamin Moore color, that is a deep "stunning" blue. This room features a "60" flat screen TV, and French doors that open out to the side patio. Here, there is a new fire table, and "chat" set, with seating for 5. Walk along the brick terrace to the heated T shaped saltwater pool, nestled among your private tropical garden, filled with the scents of jasmine and gardenia.
The formal dining room has seating for 6, and has French doors that lead out to the "Loggia", a beautifully covered outdoor dining area with seating for 4. Step through this gate to the pool, for more al fresco dining.
The kitchen is newly updated with all new appliances and fixtures, and an induction range.
(Laundry room has a new washer & dryer.)
The three bedrooms in the main house are upstairs; the biggest bedroom has a king size, four poster bed, and is furnished in soft white, neutrals and pale blue, for a calming spa like feel.
The bathroom for this bedroom is next door, and features the original tub and tile from 1925. The shower head has been replaced, and the room has been updated with crisp white and blue "coral" fabric to create a fun "beach-y" vibe, without compromising the integrity of the era.
The next guest room-the "sea turtle" (navy bedroom) has a queen size bed, and is fashioned to look like a daybed, with lots of down pillows.
The "starfish" bedroom also has a queen size bed, and is done in soft white, with pops of pink & orange.
These two bedrooms share the "bumble bee" bathroom, which features the original 1925 yellow & black tile, a unique black octagonal sink, and black light fixtures. There is a stall shower in this bathroom (no tub), and a new shower head.
All three bedrooms have TV, new mattresses, new luxury linens, and 100% down pillows & duvets.
The Guest Cottage(Casita Lucinda)-NOW SLEEPS 4 Comfortably! This separate cottage, is steps away from the pool, and offers an additional 400 sq. feet. of living space; Enter thru the newly located door to the right, and what once was a tiny garage space has been converted into a gleaming white storage/laundry area with plenty of storage for towels, serving pieces, cushions, pool accouterments, etc. The cottage living room has been converted into a bedroom, with two twin beds, which can be pushed together to form a king(I received so many requests to sleep more people, so the twin beds have replaced the original daybed). The kitchenette, and bathroom(with a newly tiled shower enclosure), remain in the same location. The separate bedroom has a new queen size bed. The kitchenette has a stove, fridge, toaster and microwave. There is a breakfast "nook" with seating for 4, and there is a new TV in the antique pine armoire. This adorable little guest suite will sleep 2-4 people.

Beautiful home in a great location.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Divina, Shawn and Adriana were incredibly accommodating as my family and I booked their home last minute (literally 1 day before) due to issues with our original rental. They got their home ready before the listed check in time and everything was clean and beautiful. Adriana came by to drop off additional toiletries and gave us several restaurant and shopping recommendations. The home was plenty big for our group and the decor is outstanding. We enjoyed laying by the pool and spending time together. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Palm Beach!

Palm Beach
Beautiful house, the owner and her representatives seemed extremely busy with personal family issues and international travel making it challenging for them to give us confirmation on our dates and other logistics in a timely, businesslike fashion. We arrived from the west coast after stores were closed and the house was missing coffee and toiletries. We had to wake up and hunt for a grocery store then take Lyft there since we had not rented a car. Next time I use VRBO, I will be sure to bring these essentials myself so I can wake up in the morning and have an easy entry into my vacation.

Surprise birthday party house !
We rented this house to host a small surprise party for my father. The house is beyond warm and comfortable and the backyard is so lush and amazing. I did not expect the back yard to be so lush and cozy , we literally just hung out there the entire time.

Winter Holiday
We stayed at Casa Divina for the month of February 2019 for a winter getaway from freezing temperatures in NYC. Casa Divina was the perfect fit for our family, including husband, new baby and new grandparents. The house is extremely charming in a delightful little neighborhood, full of 1920's unique and funky architecture. It's a short walk to GREAT antiquing/vintage shops, restaurants, provisions and a 2 mile bay walk to Clematis Street - the perfect location! The house is suited with everything you would possibly need and sparkling clean. You can tell the owner takes great care of the property. The house is petite in size but because of the cottage, we felt very comfortable inviting guests that at one point totaled 10 people one weekend.
The house manager is extremely fast in responding with any questions or concerns we had and is a local in the neighborhood. She is super friendly and a great resource throughout.
The reason we are giving 4/5 stars is because of the noise. Unfortunately, we rented the property while there was construction on both sides of the house. We hope the owner was unaware of the timing of this, as the backyard area was mostly unusable due to construction noise (and sometimes wood or concrete dust blown into the yard). The construction was ongoing from our first day (including weekends and after 5pm hours). The neighbor was receptive to our complaints and haulted construction one Sunday, per our request (ONE full day of silence), but it was still a very unfortunate situation.
In addition, as mentioned on previous posts, the WPB airport is indeed 10 minutes away and planes are quite loud overhead. We understand this is an issue for all Palm Beach residents, so I imagine this is an issue renting anywhere in WPB and PB, but in addition to the construction, it became quite a headache. We got used to the planes, but I think it's worth mentioning if you plan to bring a baby.

WPB gem
Casa Divina enjoys a great WPB location that is close to shops and restaurants and offers easy access to Palm Beach. The house itself is cozy and well-appointed: it has all the finishing touches that make it feel like home. The kitchen and entertainment electronics are all new and easy to use. The backyard is comfortable and well-planned landscaping provides privacy and shade. The neighborhood is quaint and cheerful, and traffic is limited so the neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Casa Divina!

charming cottage and hospitable hosts
Came for a family getaway to spend Thanksgiving. 4 adults and 2 small children and hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home and help with crib rental, dinner reservations, and even set the table in a beautiful way.
A few little glitches (a couple TVs weren't turning on, and lights not working at first) but could be resolved easily and any other questions, the host was quickly responsive.
Cute little neighborhood and neighbors all friendly. Great little diner on the corner and any stores you'd need are walkable/easily driveable. Close to a big park for the kids and so nice it was dog friendly. I'd recommend any time of year for a fun getaway!

Outstanding House!
We stayed at Casa Davina for 4 days to celebrate my wife's birthday with family and friends. We had 8 adults stay at the house the whole time and there was plenty of room for all of us. Both Shawn and Adria were a great help with the house and gracious enough to let us have a party at the house as well. We did make sure to clear it with them first.
The house is exactly as shown in the photos. The backyard/courtyard is beautiful and is perfect for small or large gatherings. We had 25 people attend a party along with a private chef, bartender, and two servers and there was plenty of room for all of this. There is also a casita at the back of the property with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, living area, and laundry room. This house is decorated very well and you can tell the owner takes great pride in their home.
Shawn, thanks for sharing your home and letting us throw a party that will be remembered for a very long time.

A Beautiful Home
Attention to detail is evident in every room of this classy Spanish style home. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all the needed appliances and gadgets. The neighbors are friendly and the location is convenient to shopping, beaches and restaurants. The airport is less than 10 minutes away. We were traveling with adult sons. One chose to occupy the guest house which gave him the privacy he needed for the work time of his working vacation. A very nice feature.
We spent much of our time enjoying the beautiful pool and back garden patio. The logia provided a nice escape from the sun and the table and chairs there made a nice spot to dine.
We are looking forward to a return trip.
The Winters family.

Beautiful Attention to Detail
My family lives in California or Washington. When my then 65-year old brother invited us to attend his first-ever wedding and accompanying festivities in West Palm Beach, the search was on to find a large enough home to give us some individual space while not breaking the bank. My family of four adult children and my husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Shawn's vacation rental. We loved the interior decoration, the linens, the soaps, the mattresses (so comfy!), the light, and all the little touches such as beach totes and mosquito repellent. We appreciated the a/c and fans.
The pool is stunning, and the outdoor furniture comfy. We were a bit startled by the nearby daytime-only planes and railroad cars, but again, they were only during the day, and hardly a constant, but enough of a negative to rate our stay 4/5 stars. The property's location made for an easy drive to the Atlantic coast and its beckoning beaches. The property managers, even when under stress, were promptly helpful to questions and dropped off more beach towels when asked.
I would definitely consider using Shawn's lovely home if staying in West Palm Beach again.
p.s. Shawn's mother, for whom the house is named, was a beautiful woman, and obviously much loved.

Beautiful Property
My family and I visited WPB for my grandparents 70th wedding anniversary. From the first inquiry the owner Shawn was so nice and responsive. The house is a gem. Private, unbelievable outdoor entertainment space, so many nooks for breakfast or lunch or dinner by the pool. Fire pit, guest house, etc. I couldn't recommend it more. Oh, and the location is ideal, no more than 10-15 minutes from the airport, beach, Flagler dr wall path. We will be back for my grandfathers 100th birthday!

Great stay!
Casa Davina was a great choice for a rental in West Palm Beach for my colleagues and me. The house was conveniently located near our work on Palm Beach Island, and close to great restaurants and shopping. Not only was the home cheerfully and attractively decorated, it was well stocked with everything we could possibly need during our stay. The owners were a pleasure to work with - responsive and helpful. Prior to our stay, they sent a info 'booklet' addressing everything from where to get a good coffee nearby in the morning, to wifi log on instructions. I would without hesitation recommend this house to a friend or relative!

Sweet sixteen getaway
It was the perfect weekend away for me and my three teenage girls . The house is beautifully decorated with warm colors and bright patterns . Each room was inviting and my girls felt right at home here .The pool area was like a spa oasis the girls felt spoiled lounging by the pool in the morning and shopping on Worth Ave in the afternoon . A wonderful breakfast place was walking distance just up the street, as well as a public and
cvs . This house is just minutes from the intracoastal and short drive to the beach. We were able to do so much in such a short time . We had a quiet elegant dinner on palm beach but headed to city walk for a younger crowd and late night desert. We will definitely go back soon we all enjoyed it so much !

Excellent Property!!!
It was a joy to rent this property - top notch in all aspects. Stylish furnishings, attention to detail, fresh and immaculate inside and out. The pool area, patios and loggia were stunning, private and meticulously maintained. The location was also the best! This house is located not far from the intracoastal and is just over the bridge to Palm Beach. It is convenient to many excellent restaurants, antique shopping, and boutiques. Finally, I have to mention that the owner was more than helpful and a pleasure to work with. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend!!!
