This is the best family vacation my teenagers and I have ever had. The cottage and location were amazing. This was the perfect place to slow down and connect with my kids. I recommend this cottage without hesitation! We’ll be back next year! Thank you!

This is by far the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in. The property manager, Sean, was very responsive. The lighting at night is lovely and the place is beautifully appointed close to shops and restaurants and the trolley. Would definitely stay again!

Easy communication with Sean. House decor was really nice. Easy walk to town. We loved hanging out on the lawn with a big table, lots of chairs under a beautiful big Sycamore. Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay and everything was nice and ready for us. My only warning about this property is the front bedroom hears all the road noise. It was really loud Sunday night, luckily Monday and Tuesday were quieter.

This cottage has everything we needed. It is located walking distance to shops and the beach. My young daughters had just enough room to play but also enjoyed the amenities (tv, Internet, kitchen). We will definitely be staying here again. The only item of note is we received the code to enter the property 30 minutes late and had to continually text|call the property management company to get it.

Location is really what this place is all about! We enjoyed the bbq and the yardspace too. Advertised for 6 ppl and we had 6 adults from 2 families. It was tight but worked bc we have all lived together b4, otherwise would not work I think. We arrived at check in time and still had not been sent any info despite many attempts for this. Communication is terrible here, so start harping early and often for a smooth check in. Not enough towels or toilet paper for 6 ppl. Has washer to wash towels daily and make do, but you'll have to buy ur own laundry soap to wash their towels.

The property is great with two decent size double bedrooms and a nice kitchen/living area. It’s super close to the beach but far enough away from the busy main highway to be nice and quiet. The only downside was the complete lack of communication from the host/property management. I had messaged with a couple of questions ahead of my stay with zero response, eventually I had to contact Vrbo to intervene as I still hadn’t heard anything on my check in day. Otherwise was a great stay, would highly recommend if hosts could communicate better

This little place worked out perfectly for us. We walked to the great beach and nearby restaurants. The front yard was a great place for dining with the huge sycamore tree is beautiful!! Linens were clean and soft. We will rent it again!! Thanks!

Heaven in Laguna Beach
Great property that is just close enough to the beach and shopping, but also far enough away to be peaceful and watch the sunsets.

Great location but lacking comforts
Walking distance to the ocean, grocery store and downtown as advertised. However, cleanliness and supplies were lacking. I’ve stayed at 5 Dana Point or Laguna Beach rentals in the last 14 months. This was the most expensive with the fewest amenities apart from the very convenient location.
Cleanliness: The most-used surfaces and linens were clean, but there were food stains on the kitchen wall, much dirt in crevices of the stove and fridge; also on the baseboards. The biggest yuck for me was the Brita filter having black mold around the parts and dirty finger prints. The seal on the fridge is falling off.
Amenities: Only pantry items were salt and pepper, some packets of ground coffee, 3 packets of sugar and many packets of sugar substitutes. There was no oil/vinegar, tea bags, spices, and other items found in all the other places. There were no storage containers with lids Pans were mostly peeling Teflon. There was no foil, plastic wrap, baggies. There were no stationery supplies. This became important because one windy night I returned to the casement window in the kitchen blown open. I was able to seal it by moving the metal bars that had been left open on all the house windows. However during the night I rose to a clanging which was the living room window blown open. I needed a means of tying it shut and had to count on a rubber band I brought from home. It was cold, windy and a security breach.
Under the kitchen sink was supposed to be a first aid kit and fire extinguisher. Instead there was a rat-size glue trap. Pest control stopped by to ask if the problem was gone.
There was no visible washer/dryer as listed.
My feeling was there was no pride of ownership.

Great location
This was a great little cottage. The best part is the location - close to the beach and downtown but far enough away to be quiet, especially on a holiday weekend. Also the on site free parking is a huge bonus.

Cozy & Just Right
We used this cottage for a quick moms-away weekend. It is perfectly located within walking distance of anything you might need or want to do, but mostly we just enjoyed the cozy space. It has no central air or heat, but plenty of fans and great cross-breezes. Bring a blanket if you get chilly. Would stay again.

Birthday weekend
I love this cottage for the true beach cottage design. 3 single adults, we were comfortable for the most part! Fold out sofa not comfortable and no bedding the first night. We had difficulty with internet connection and cable TV. Never got online and TV breaker was off. 2nd day it took multiple texts to finally get cable to work then had to go thru lots of channels to find ones that worked, apparently local TV only. Hoped to use the grill but not appetizing. The house, bedrooms, kitchen and bath were nice. I would go back! Great location, 1 block to Ralphs, Nick's restaurant has a perfect, reasonable fillet dinner we ordered take out and the Mexican restaurant on the corner was decent.

The Green Cottage, Laguna beach.
The Green Cottage was better than expected. The accommodations were great. The property has so much charm and personality. The location is perfect. The beach, shops and restaurants were all walking distance. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. Look forward to reserving it again for my next trip. Neil was very responsive to our questions.

Property Is Misrepresented, Very Uncomfortable And Unsafe
The property is NOT AS described, there is a serious security issue and the owners are totally unresponsive to their guests. In fact, the owners will not even honor their own representative's promises. We encountered one problem after another during our short stay. First, the cottage as advertised as having working internet connection, however the internet went down and despite the owner's rep's promise to fix it, the internet stayed down an entire day. The cottage was also advertised as having two parking stalls, which we needed as we had two cars. However, the owners own three cottages that share same parking lot and they do not check or monitor the number of vehicles in each party. As a result, our vehicles were repeatedly blocked in, which prevented us from using our cars for hours at a time and other times we were forced to find alternative parking many blocks away. Also, we had to constantly reshuffle vehicles so one person could get out and another could park. In addition, we also had a serious security problem with the cottage as both the next door neighbor and the Bicycle shop owner right around the corner informed us upon arrival that there had been several break ins in the area and they advised us to keep all our windows closed. This presented a serious problem as the cottage has no AC, NO security bars (or even screens) on the windows and consequently, we had no choice, but to keep all the windows closed, even while we were in the cottage and trying to sleep. This is a major problem as this small cottage has a tin roof with little to no insulation so with no AC the cottage feels like an oven .
Further, in addition to all the problems described above, we also had an ongoing problem of our vehicles being blocked in and not being able to access our assigned parking places for several hours at a time due to cars parking in the lot whose owners were going to the busy Mexican restaurant right next door. The customers will park their vehicles right in front of the assigned spaces for the cottage, thereby either blocking in your vehicle or preventing you from using the assigned parking spaces. Although the owners' rep was nice and promised to accommodate us for all these problems, the owners themselves never did anything at all. Obviously these owners don't care about their guests or their experience and they are completely non-responsive and don't honor their own reps' promises ! ! !

Laguna Beach Fun Girls Getaway
Our stay at the green cottage was really fun.. The cottage has a great location. We were able to just park the car and walk everywhere including downtown Laguna, which we did. The cottage has it's own parking, nice green lawn, seating outside and a nice BBQ. The inside of the cottage is nicely decorated, clean and has everything we needed. We were able to cook and eat in when we wanted or walk to any type of eatery. The owner was friendly and easy to contact. I would come back and stay again.

Perfect location!
great getaway! Stress free. Where do I start? If you like to cook and grill you will have everything you need in the kitchen and a great outdoor gas grill. Grocery store is one block away. If you do not want to cook you are surrounded by many bars and restaurants. No need to drive onto busy PCH just hop on the FREE trolley. This trolley rides from 11AM thru 11PM and it's free. The stop is right on the corner of St. Anne's. Walking across the street to watch the sunset is a must. There was only one negative for me, I am a TV junky and missed not watching a bit of TV but I survived. The place is so comfortable and the beds were so comfy. You can also find some beach chairs in the pantry in the kitchen area. Can't wait to go back. The staff is very accommodating.

FUN BEACH COTTAGE
Our family had a wonderful time in Laguna Beach. This darling cottage is just steps from the sand. It was so nice to leave our car at the cottage and walk. Very cute beachy decor. Nice small yard and outdoor furniture to enjoy. Would love to stay here again.

Comfortable accommodations and centrally located in Laguna
The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location was centrally located with an easy walk into town to shop and dine. Many great restaurants to choose from and a grocery store less than a block away. We especially enjoyed wine, snacks, and chatting under the huge Sycamore tree in the large front yard. We visited the Mission San Juan Capistrano and went on a whale watching boat out of Newport Beach; each a short drive via Pacific Coast Highway enjoying the ocean views. Looking forward to returning to this property again in the future.

Very nicely decorated and clean
This would be the perfect cottage to stay in if not for one detail--no AC at all! Great location. Newly decorated and renovated. Very cute and comfy. But the lack of air conditioning makes it very uncomfortable when it is over 80 degrees outside. Also, the windows have no screens on them, so we felt like we couldn't leave them open all night with young children in the house, which made it even more hot at night to sleep. It wouldn't take much at all to at least put a few window AC units in here. This would have made all the difference.

Cute cottage near beach!
The green cottage was perfect for our stay in Laguna. We were close to the beach, good food, and all that Laguna has to offer! The beds were so comfortable and the cottage was clean with everything we needed. The only negative was that there is no A/C, but we were not in the cottage during the day and it cooled off quickly at night, so it worked out perfectly. Thank you Peggy for a great stay! We will be back!

Perfect Getaway Cottage!
The only thing that could have made this a more perfect stay was a longer vacation! This cottage couldn't have been more perfect: two blocks from the beach, downtown within walking distance, BEAUTIFUL interior - quality, good attention to detail. It was great having two bedrooms, and free, on-site laundry was a nice bonus. Both the owners & property manager were super friendly. Between the windows and fans in each room, enough air was brought in to cool down the cottage at night. The windows have no screens, so at first it felt weird to leave them wide open, but as two girls staying we still felt pretty safe. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity. Thank you for the wonderful vacation accommodations!!!!

Laguna Beach Cottage
My husband and I were looking for a place near the beach to spend a long weekend with out of town guests and our young kids. We could not have been more pleased when we found this location. This cottage is adorable! It is very clean and well decorated. The location is fabulous-with in walking distance of the town, beaches and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

Laguna Beach Cottage
My girlfriend and I were looking for a quiet & quaint place close to lots of entertainment and we found all of this at the Laguna Beach Cottage. The cottage is very clean and been tastefully decorated & has an awesome 100+ year old Sycamore tree right outside the front door that is perfect for outdoor entertaining or for pure enjoyment. The front yard also has an ocean view where you can catch the beautiful sunsets. You will find several restaurants with open decks right on the beach that are within walking distance of the cottage. We will definitely be back
