Leave reality behind and come enjoy our newly redecorated and renovated vacation home! This condo is perfect for couples or small families. Just a short walk across the street and you're on the beach! This non-smoking 1BR/1.5BA with additional Queen sleeper sofa end unit condo is in the desirable Courtyard at Seascape complex. Be sure and enjoy the cross breeze on the balcony as you overlook the pool and listen to the waves. Just a block from the Carolina Beach Pier, this property offers a private pool with a beautifully landscaped courtyard. But if you feel adventurous and have a 4 wheel drive truck, 1 block away is the entrance to Freeman Park, one of NC's only beaches you can drive on. Daily, weekly and yearly passes are available (come back to see us often!)

When you want to take a break from the beach, there are many other options nearby to experience. You are only minutes away from the Fort Fisher Historical Park and Aquarium in Kure Beach. You can also take the ferry from Fort Fisher over to Southport for shopping, dining and a stroll through the quaint waterfront downtown area. Just a short drive away is the historic downtown and riverfront area of Wilmington. Here you will find cobblestone streets filled with a variety of shops and restaurants. One of the most interesting sites to visit and the pride and joy of Wilmington is the USS North Carolina - the World War II battleship that played an integral role in the Pacific Theatre.

Come visit and do as much as you want or as little as you want. It's all up to you!

REGARDING LINENS:
Included in the cost of the rental is freshly washed linens (wash, hand and bath towels), kitchen towels as well as bed sheets for the bed and sleeper sofa. Some renters feel more comfortable bringing their own linens. This is completely your choice. The bed and sleeper sofa are both queen size.

All high touch surfaces including door handles, light switches, remote controls, cabinets, countertops, drawer pulls, toilets including handle, seat and outside surfaces, sinks, mirrors, showers and baths, faucets, handles and floors are disinfected. A fresh set of washed linens, bed sheets kitchen towels are provided with each new rental.

How Far to Beach: A short 5 minute walk in either direction. I go to the left where you have the pier with a short order grill (great cheeseburgers and fries!) and a tiki bar.

We booked last minute and glad found this place! Michael was extremely easy to communicate with and prompt in response. The condo is not hard to find even late at night. We came in late and had no trouble parking or getting into the condo. It is exactly like pictured, simple cozy and perfect for what we needed. The only hiccup we had was the face beach access directly across from the condo was closed due to erosion probably from the recent storm. The next closest access is on the far side of the pier or a little ways down the road in the other direction. Both directions weren’t too far of a walk! Michael was responsive helping answer any questions he could about it and pointing us in the right direction to find a close access for a great beach day!

This is a 2nd floor unit and was easy to access. Parking was available and within close proximity of the unit. The 3rd floor walking was sometimes audible but not too distracting. The location was good- within walking distance to the Tiki Bar, Pier Restaurant - which was fun (fire pits and good food). The beach access was roughly a two block walk. The patio had pool view and the unit cooled very well. We would recommend. There was a thorough checklist provided electronically and on the refridgerator so we did not need to contact the owner about any issues.

The condo was exactly like the pictures and descriptions, very cute and cozy! Communication with the owner was top notch! The condo was extremely close to beach access and other amenities. Would highly recommend staying here!

Good location, fast communication, cool pool, and suitable for a family of four. The dishwasher didn't really work and there was no mattress topper on the sleeper sofa so it was a little uncomfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Some dishes weren’t clean and bed sheets had a mildew scent but other than that, it was very nice. The description makes it seem closer to the ocean than it is, (it’s a couple streets from beach access), but that wasn’t a problem for us.

Property was as pictured. Beach is a block away but you dont have a view of the beach, which really doesnt matter when you're that close. Pool is very clean. From the balcony you have a view of the pool. This property definitely would be a challenge to someone who has trouble with steps. I would recommend a fold up step stool to help short people, like myself, to reach the dishes as the cabinets are high. I had to climb a chair to reach them.

It was great to be close to the beach (about a one block walk) and the beach at Freeman Park. The Boardwalk with shops/restaurants are about 1.5 miles from the condo, be aware that parking at the Boardwalk is $9/hr +tax. Parking at the condo is free :). The condo was cute and clean and has a small but nice balcony. The ocean is very close but you can’t really see much of it from the condo. Our teenage kids shared the sleeper sofa for the 2 nights we were there and said it was fine although there was not a mattress topper, that might have made it more comfortable. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had what we needed to make meals. Communication was great with the host! Would recommend!

It was a beautiful place. Hosts were understanding & helpful. FYI - the beach is nearby and those with 4 wheel drive is ideal. The closest portions in early February were closed off due to erosion. This was not our focus & was beyond the control of hosts, but others may want to check/ be aware with seasons. Overall we were thrilled with our stay.

The condo was perfect for our last minute weekend get away to the beach. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and was an easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed a leisurely walk to the boardwalk (about 1.5 miles) and a visit to nearby Carolina state park. We had a great time and would recommend!

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was I would have liked to have been a little closer to a Publix beach access. I believe it was previously but the erosion on the beach has the closest access closed at the point

I couldn't have asked for anything more in this adorable home other than an elevator haha. It was quaint, clean, with beautiful landscaping and pool view from the balcony. A short 1 minute walk to sand in your toes. I would highly recommend and will stay here again in the future!

I loved our stay at this location. The condo was clean and decorated nicely. I loved having the towels and bedding provided as well as any kitchen utensils. We were thankful for thr cold A/C and the ice maker since it was hot that week. The swimming pool was an added bonus and had a shower to wash off sand. The beach access that we used wasn't very far from our place amd you could see and hear the ocean from the balcony. We sat out on the balcony for hours. We also walkes to the pier which was a short distance and we walked to the boardwalk whoch aboit 1.5 miles. The overall area was great!

We really enjoyed our stay. You can hear the ocean from the balcony, and it really was a short walk to the beach. The unit had all the kitchen equipment, towels, etc, we needed, and the 1.5 bath setup was handy -- one person can be getting ready while somebody else is using the shower. If you are traveling with small children or babies, I would recommend bringing some outlet covers. The opening between the living room and kitchen would also be a good size for a portable baby gate. I would not let babies and small children play on the balcony due to the rails being a little bit far apart, but that's just something to keep in mind. They enjoyed being out there while closely supervised /held by an adult. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay and a comfy home-away-from-home for our family beach adventures!
