About this house rental

Guests love this central location... a 5 minute walk takes you to the center of Old Colorado City with its' restaurants, wine and tapas bars, shops and entertainment. The kitchen has a new gas stove with convection oven, wine refrigerator (with a complimentary bottle of select wine with a 3 night stay), granite counter tops, wet bar, and full sized frig. An open floor plan and dining room provides the perfect venue for entertaining and family gatherings. A covered patio is equipped with a gas grill and patio furniture. And, if you need a little more room, there is another unit available right out the door! So make sure you check out our brand new and "styling" property # 1258071. It can be rented separately or in conjunction with the house.

The house was very well decorated, clean and convenient. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was clean and well stocked with supplies and David was very kind to communicate with. A definite place to remember.

We had a lovely stay at the Bijou House. It was very clean and comfortable and had lots of nice features. It was very close to Old Colorado City but when walking, be aware of the hill to get back and forth! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

This house was in a great location. David's communication put us at ease even before arrival and wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed using the kitchen to prepare breakfasts before our outings and BBQ in the evening. We will return here in the future!

Lovely home, comfortable and easy access to all CO Springs and Manitou Springs tourist areas. Downtown area only couple blocks away w/cute shops and nice restaurants. Home is tastefully decorated (nice art work), plush bathroom linens and loved the wood and tile floors. Large kitchen had lots of equipment for your cooking/baking needs. Great outdoor patio too! David, the Host/home owner was wonderful! Personable, promptly answered any questions and gave us great intel for local areas to visit (beyond the commonly visited touristy ones). We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you, David!

This was an excellent place to stay. It was very convenient to Old Colorado City (could walk there in 5 minutes) and it was like a home away from home. The owner was easy to reach with any questions and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, even offering to make dinner reservations for us our first evening in town if we wanted. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to see what this part of Colorado has to offer and would definitely stay here again. It was a great place to stay and great place to visit.

If you're looking for a perfect spot to take in all that Colorado Springs has to offer - look no further. The property is ideally located (3 minutes from seemingly everything) and is very well maintained. We'll certainly be back!

We had friends and family at the property to celebrate Thanksgiving. David was great to check to see if we needed anything and brought over folding chairs for dinner guests. We walked to breakfast and explored old Colorado City and the Garden of the Gods.

The house is exactly as the pictures show. The yard is small, big enough for my dog to her business. Dave got back to me in timely manner to answer any questions I had. My only problem was in check in. When you enter your code on key pad you need to turn the knob to open door. I was used to entering code on keypad and the door opened. Great location. Great owner!!!!!!

Our third fall visit to Colorado was a good one! The location of David’s Vrbo is a short walk to downtown Old Colorado( very nice farmers market on Saturday). Palmer Park and the New Santa Fe Trail were a short drive away for hikes and bike rides. The house was in a nice quit neighborhood, we enjoyed the covered back patio every early morning and late afternoon. Most important alway for us is a clean well kept property, Dave has got it down! Dogs/pets are welcome but be aware getting them out on walks will be necessary there isn’t much yard for fetch. PS lots of nearby dog parks, and trails. We felt very comfortable !! Thanks Dave

David was an amazing host! Very helpful with all our needs and the property was in the perfect location to everything we wanted to do! The house was clean and so very cute! The only thing is if you are going when the weather is warmer, the second bedroom does not have air conditioning in it. But other than that, would definitely stay here again!

The home is wonderful with all you need for a relaxing stay. Close to Old Colorado City, Pikes Peak and Rocky Mountain adventures. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area - and you might even see the neighborhood deer! Highly recommend.

Perfect location for anything you might want to do in Colorado Springs/Manitou area. Garden of the gods,manitu incline, pikes peak, are all minutes away. Royal gorge a bit of a drive but not far. Great restaurants and shopping on Colorado Avenue. Best vrbo host i have had in the last 10 years. Beautiful home, very clean and spacious!! Great outdoor sitting area.Host gets right back to answer any questions. I cant say enough wonderful things about this home. Highly recommended!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bijou house. The home exceeded our expectations and provided a level of comfort as a home-away-from-home while traveling with an adult child. While there is another rental property adjacent to the home, there is ample privacy including a fenced-in covered back porch that we enjoyed during a rainstorm. Very quiet neighborhood. Would absolutely stay here again! Unexpected amenities included a gas fireplace within the covered back porch!

Absolutely lovely stay here at this property, i would recommend updating to a smart tv in the bedroom for us millenials but otherwise amazing, fave part was that full tub. Oh and maybe a mattress upgrade, but we're spoiled with a purple mattress ❤️

Great place, quiet, at a walking distance from Old Colorado Main Street (a special mention to the French bakery) and 5 mn drive from Garden of the God and 10 mn to Manitou. Well decorated, well equipped with everything you may need, nice outdoor patio on the backyard. David has been very helpful and welcoming. It’s the place to be in Colorado Springs !

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect- close to everything we were interested in visiting. The furnishings and art were very tasteful, and the home had an overall comfortable and cozy atmosphere. It was too cold to use the covered outdoor patio, but we hope to visit again and make good use of it! The host, David was outstanding and very accommodating. Plan to be back!

Loved, loved, loved staying at David’s home. Exactly as pictured. EVERYTHING you would need for your stay. Great communication and great recommendations were given for places to see and places to dine. Nothing disappointed. The home was quiet and we felt very safe there. Owner had several of his art pieces displayed which were beautiful. Would highly recommend to anyone. Quit looking around and book this home!

This is a great house for a vacation to Colorado Springs. It is nicely located in a quiet neighborhood while still being a short walk to good restaurants and shopping in Old Colorado City. The house was very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. I would highly recommend this house.
