A beautiful 6 bedroom, newly furnished beach home on the Ocean Block in Kismet -- sleeps 19.
Great for couples and families alike!
All 6 bedrooms and full bath are on the downstairs-main floor so tuckered out children and party poopers can rest easy......while the entertainment continues upstairs on the second floor 'open layout', prepared with a Wet Bar & Ice Maker, full equipped kitchen, dining area, full bath, huge living room and (2) sliding glass door ways that bring you to the large outdoor deck that overlooks the moonlit ocean by night and rolling waves by day.
The fully enclosed Outdoor shower is on the lower deck.
We provide bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, kayaks and a paddle board to say the least!

This house was awesome! Had a great weekend with 12 close friends. Very beautiful inside with tons of household items and supplies. Large upstairs where everyone can hangout with a wrap around deck. Even a small yard in the back which was great for playing cornhole, etc. It’s located very close to the beach. Highly recommended! James is very nice. Answered any questions I had right away. Would 100% book again for the future. Thank you James!

This was the perfect house for our family reunion. We had everything we needed. Plenty of room. A perfect view. Lots of bikes and wagons (to haul food etc). I could not recommend more.

This house was clean, fully stocked with essentials and beach gear and the proximity to the beach was so convenient. We enjoyed it so much and would definitely stay here again!

This property has amazing location right in the beach. We comfortably fit 16 adults and enjoyed all the kitchen amenities. This is a perfect location for a relaxing beach getaway. The beaches never got too busy. Overall a very peaceful and beautiful experience.

Best house in Kismet
We have been renting this beautiful house for several years for an annual reunion of our family. Its a fantastic house with plenty of space, a beautiful large deck with water views, comfortable furniture and well equipped with towels, linens, kitchenware, bicycles, kayaks etc. The landlord is wonderful--replies right away on any issue! Truly a wonderful setting for all !

Beautiful beach house with outstanding amenities! Great deck with view of the ocean and plenty of seating. Well designed private outdoor shower, storage shed, 2x laundry machine/dryer area. Loved the ice machine, filtered chilled water, wine refrigerator, etc. Well stocked for cooking and enjoying the beach (beach chairs, umbrellas, etc). Superb experience. Hope to return- THANK YOU!

Perfect Group getaway
I rented this house with a group a friends to celebrate my 60th Birthday. It was better than the photos! The house had great common space and a lovely deck with an Ocean view and a perpetual breeze. The house was the 4th house off the beach so convenient for getting lunch and using the restroom. It was also a quick walk to town. The Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels were plenty and the 6 bikes were in great condition and we explored Kismet and the other communities on the West end of FI. There were also 2 kayaks and a paddle board that we didn't use. Check in was seamless. i would highly recommend this house for groups. it was a wonderful weekend.

Family Fun
This property is in a prime location - 2 houses from the beach. Just keep in mind that you need to walk up and down steps to get onto the beach, so wagons and such will be hard to bring. Overall, the space is great for a big group. It's a total beach house - easy space to enjoy with a beautiful balcony and view. If you have little ones, it's great - gates on steps and closed in upper balcony where kids can play. My only complaint is that the beds are not comfortable to just drink a lot so that you pass out =) Also, would like a bit more of a welcome letter - we didn't know where our wagon was, if the door was open or if we needed to get a key. Some basic instructions would help newcomers know what to expect. But, overall, that lax mentality is probably why the house is so great. Definitely would return again!!!!

Best house in Kismet
This is a wonderful house and our 4th time we booked. Its a beautiful house situated 3 homes away from the beach--a wonderful, large deck--an expansive open floor plan that includes the kitchen and large living room, with lots of comfy chairs in and out --equipped with just about everything--including beach towels, beach chairs, kayaks and a paddle board as well as bicycles--the landlords are lovely people who respond immediately if any problems arise--central air as well--its so comfy and large and just great great place!

Awesome trip!!
My friends and I came out here to celebrate a birthday. We had such a wonderful experience hanging out in the house and engaging in everything it has to offer. It was really nice to be walking distance to the beach. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone looking to get away and truly enjoy themselves. If I could, I would live here!

This house has it all! Location, amenities, friendly/helpful owner! After renting in Kismet for over a decade we were beyond impressed with this home! Everything you need is provided! Towels, linens, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagons, bikes, boogie boards, SUP, kayak, ice machine...even shampoo, conditioner & body wash dispensers in every bathroom! Just bring yourselves, relax and enjoy!

The house was set up perfectly for a group with all bedrooms downstairs, and shared space upstairs. Even better in person! We had everything we needed. Ice machine, wet bar area, filtered watered. I could go on and on! Very happy !

Impressive Beach House
We celebrated a girls weekend in June, there was 20 ladies, most of us it was the first time to Fire Island. The house was perfect and in a great location. The owners have thought of everything. James also were helpful with the questions we had about getting to Fire Island. It was well stocked with chairs, umbrella’s and Bicycles. It was decorate beautiful. We all love the large table in the kitchen and outside. Can’t say enough good things. We all had a relaxing, great weekend with friends. Jennifer

Superb weekend at Kismet!!!!!!!!
From the moment we stepped into "Visiting Ours" house in Kismet we knew we found a special place. Connecting with dear friends, this home gave us a tranquil unrushed getaway allowing time for all to relax and catch up. We couldn't have found a more perfect place! This house has it all, all the way down to a full cabinet of spices! There are 6 bedrooms ranging from 2-4 occupants in each. The main living floor is open, connecting the living, dining and kitchen areas, providing ample space for our group of 17 to be together without feeling cramped. The dining table is extra long with benches to accommodate all the kids and to lay out buffet style meals. the kitchen has 2 fridges, every appliance (even a wine fridge). There is also a separate bar area complete with a sink and ice maker. We cooked on the outdoor grill, used the oven for dinner and to make a cake. I think we used every pot, pan and container! There is a dishwasher and microwave.
Outside there is a washer and dryer and outdoor shower. There is everything possible you can think of for going to beach-chairs, coolers(with wheels) kid toys, umbrellas, jugs and boogie boards. Additionally, there is a closet full of bicycles.
The outdoor deck was our favorite place to hang, with beautiful outdoor furniture. The views from this home are spectacular! It is steps from the ocean and where you can see beautiful sunrises. On one of the days we took a walk to the Fire Island Lighthouse, but mostly we all just enjoyed lounging and making the most of being away from our busy, scheduled lives. September was a great time to be at Kismet, giving us one last chance to savor the summer.
This house is top notch. I can't say enough about it! We definitely would love to return! Thank you to the owners for sharing such a wonderful place!

Visiting Ours House
We loved this house and the location. We are a seasoned vacation rental family and have stayed in houses all along the east coast beaches. This home is very well appointed - the kitchen is set up for preparing large family meals and has everything a cook needs. The house is comfortable and has all the beach equipment needed for a relaxing and fun week. We had a great time and will definitely consider coming back!

Fantastic house!!
This is probably the best beach house ever--we are from LI and have stayed at Fire Island before as well as many stays at the Outer Banks. Its a beautiful home, equipped with EVERYTHING--including linens, towels (bath and beach) and beautiful kitchen. The deck has a fantastic ocean view and plenty of seating. Added plus is central air--
Lots of added extras--water dispenser, ice machine, kayaks, paddle and surf board and a ton of comfortable beach chairs. Sleeps 20 comfortably and the house has a wonderful open layout that easily accomodates large family.

50th Birthday Celebration
We rented the house for Memorial Day Weekend. The house was beautiful and spotless. It had absolutely everything we could need. The house was fully stocked and comfortable! We would definitely rent again! Loved the location and beautiful water views!
