DO NOT STAY HERE. We rented the main house as well as the first house for our large group. Just a few hours prior to check in we were told the guest house would not be available for use. Uhm okay?! Supposedly the water and furnace were shut off?? Seems weird to me as we were notified HOURS before check in. The situation was handled poorly and vacasa tried to set us up with a second home to accommodate our large group that was 5 minutes away and putting those funds that would have gone towards the guest house to the second home. Seriously? The whole situation caused us to scramble at the last minute. The home itself was a little grungy and the game room garage has a horrible smell. Main floor shower does not drain. WiFi was horrible. PLEASE take your group elsewhere.

The Crystal Rose is a gorgeous home with so much entertainment! Great for family or work retreats. Stunning views, great parking and very close to a walking beach. This is our second time at this home and expect to book again and again.

Absolutely amazing house! Guys were very friendly and help us with some issues in the house very quickly. Many bedrooms, big kitchen with great tables for big group, super occupied with many games (ping-pong, billiard, shuffleboard, poker table...omg was so great!). Kitchen is great occupied, owners UPDATED FRIDGE (brand new!), we had slight problem with grill, so we used pan for steaks. Super quite location, so close to the beach (kids had a lot of fun), close to Safeway, Chinook Casino! Will be back for 100%. Highly recommended!!!

We first had issues getting into the house. The code didnt work, so we had to use the housekeeping keys to get in. Blinds were old and dirty. They didnt finish cleaning the house till five minutes from check in. When we got in the house the temperature was 56 degrees. We turned the heat on, three hours later it hadnt gone up. Our guys went down to to check the furnace and had to clean it because it had over an inch of dust on it. They said it hadnt been clean in years. After they cleaned it the house finally heated up. Downstairs also smelled of urine where the game room was and fridge smelled of rotten fish. Dishwasher also was full of dirty dishes. Other than those issues we enjoyed the house. It was nice and big and a great location. Also, if you arent morning people like us, they wont let you check out an hour late. Policy says 10:00 a.m check out and they mean it. Housekeeper pullled in as we were pulling out.

Pros: The location of this house was perfect. It was a short walk to a beautiful beach. It sat on a hill which gave us a beautiful view of the ocean. We really enjoyed the pool table and shuffle board. The house is very spacious. We had plenty of room for 9 of us and everyone had a comfy bed. The dining table is huge so we all got to sit around it. The fridge is also huge!! I want one of those at my house!! And I loved the jacuzzi bathtub!
Cons: It wasn’t the cleanest rental I’ve stayed in. Many of the blinds were old and wouldn’t go up. I’m pretty picky about clean though. It was dirty if you looked in the corners and on the window sills, but the sheets were clean and the bathrooms were clean. Some of the kitchen items were not clean, like a greasy cutting board and a mixing bowl that felt gunky. The garage fridge reeked of rotten food. The property managers were very kind and responsive and even offered to send someone over to clean. My advice to them would be to have a deep cleaning of the house, new blinds and some fresh paint on dirty walls and doors… and to always check and make sure the dishes in the cupboard are squeaky clean!

We enjoyed having 3 levels with separate sleeping quarters. Easy walk to the beach and shopping. Lots of great activities like pool, shuffle board, table tennis and foosball. Lots of bathrooms, tubs, kitchen supplies and parking.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Cons:
-Received a text on the day of checkin that our booking was available to check in early. Upon arrival, cleaners were still in the middle of cleaning the property.
-Inaccurate listing at the time of booking. Listing said it included use of a shared fire pit. Upon using the fire pit, vacasa called us to tell us we were NOT welcome to use the fire pit, it was only intended for the cottage next door, despite what the listing said.
-Ice maker in the freezer/fridge does not dispense ice.
-we had to rewash all of the cutting boards and clean out the drawer they had been stored in as the boards and the drawer had mold in it.
-Grill was lacking. It worked to warm our hot dogs and cook our hamburgers, but it was dirty and we could not get it to heat above 250.
-railings are sticky. They need to be sanded and repainted. Then maybe get railing guards?
Pros:
-short walk down a hill to get to the beach!
-just down the road from the grocery store and downtown shops
-quiet location
-A lot of rooms and all had super comfy beds, plus had 3 extra twin cot beds (we didn’t use those) and a portacrib.
-the garage has been turned into a game room and had a perfect sized table/chairs for playing our favorite family card game Nertz!
-plenty of clean bathroom towels as well as beach towels to use.
-plenty of dishes and cooking ware
-dining room table big enough for our party of 12
-Spicket outside that made it easy to spray off the sand before going inside.
-Lots of hot water for showers for everyone
-two washing machines and two dryers in the laundry room.

Had a work retreat here with five adults. It was great. The only thing I could complain about is that there is no hot tub, but we knew that coming in. The upstairs area with the pool table and shuffleboard is really cool. I would definitely stay there again.

Great house for Mancation!
The home is in great shape and the layout was perfect for 4 guys. We really enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard upstairs and ping pong and table tennis downstairs. The kitchen was well laid out and stocked as well!

The house had everything we needed and was perfect for our group of 10 + some small ones. Proximity to the beach and downtown was unmatched by anything else I could find.

Room to spill in and out, and play, for big groups!
Absolutely perfect! Toys galore with Ping-pong Foosball, pool, shuffleboard, board games! Deck view of the ocean and lots of room for people to spill upstairs main floor and basement, would easily accommodate 20+ people comfortably for picnic gathering in and out, 17 sleep in beds - three king rooms one with extra twin, one queen, 3 twins in one room plus queen sofa and three rolling twin fold outs to add anywhere. Furnishings are gorgeous short walk to the beach, we will be back… By the way the kitchen rocks!

Perfect Weekend
All 16 of us, couldn't have had a better time at this property. From the youngest, 4, to the oldest 72, we enjoyed all the amenities offered here. We all especially enjoyed the large dinner table that all of us could gather around and eat, talk and enjoy our time together.

This house was amazing and perfect for our group of friends! Very clean and bright. Beach access is right down the street but the view is in your front yard and it is absolutely stunning! The only request that we would have is that there be a house book of info. Stuff about the house and what is required of us as visitors before we leave. Other than that, we were so happy with our stay and will probably stay in this house again.

Beautiful house, lots of games, great location!
9 of us all went to elementary school middle school and high school together. Hung out for years but haven't seen each other in years as we're 33 to 35 with families. We wanted to do a golf trip and this was a perfect get away. Thank you for having us!

The space was exactly what we needed and listed. The hide-a-bed is due for the dumpster. Every spring was broken and it was more comfortable to take the mattress off to be able to sleep. The whole house was in general disrepair, from appliances to furniture — like on its last leg. At check-in, our code didn’t work, so we had to wait in the cold until we could get some help, which wasn’t fast. The worst part was how dirty the whole place was. The toilet upstairs had urine stains down the outside bowl. The floor in the living room, and under the couches was so bad. There even was a dead snail on one of the most used a cabinet doors. We enjoyed our time because of who we were with, and the space was great to keep us from feeling cramped, but other than that, it was just ok.

Nice Big House but not a Luxury Home.
We had a party of 12 and enjoyed the bigness of this home. Games and pool table were a big hit! Again, great big house but it could use a facelift. Older carpets with stains, scuffed and scratched door frames and walls, outdated decor, old rugs in bathrooms, bed frames too big for beds, one washer dryer set does not work and the other has doors you have to jimmy to get them into place. Kitchen table was large enough for everyone but it is a tight fit getting into some of the side benches, especially for grandparents or someone larger. Definitely bring your own pots, pans and skillets. The ones in the house are nasty!! We usually bring our own but the house was listed as luxury so we expected the kitchen to have luxury things... not so. The fridge water and ice dispenser do not work either so plan ahead to bring your own. Kitchen sink only has hot water for short bursts. You have to let it sit for a while or play with the hot/cold to get it to be hot again. Down stairs bedroom with King bed and twin has a door in it that you can see in the picture. What you don't know is that it is the main door with the keypad on it. Yikes!! Everyone walks through that room to enter or leave the house. Bottom level bathroom electrical outlets do not work... the shower is great but bathroom is dated and you have to do your hair upstairs. For people staying with anyone who needs to use a shower that does not have a tub, the only one available is on the 3rd story. (FYI... There are a lot of stairs to climb and they are steep.) Over all, it was a big house that worked great for our family vacation, just disappointed that it was not as luxurious as pictures and title led you to believe. We would recommend the house as long as you plan ahead for the things listed above. It would be a terrific house if they got everything working properly, updated kitchen supplies and gave it a little TLC. Again, clean, big house but definitely not a luxury home as it is.

Short walk to beach
About a 4 or 5 block walk to the beach. Plently to keep busy if the weather isnt good! Pots and pans were greasy and really worn. Cigerette butts on property by side door. Only one working washer and dryer

Family vacation 8/3/20
Very spacious, clean and beautiful home. Comfortable for 15 people. Everyone loves the dining table. A lot of games. The shuffleboard was a big hit for us. (first time playing and we had so much fun!)
A few suggestions
1. Some of cooking ware are old and rusty - should be thrown away.
2. Need clean up the oven.
3. Would love to have a fire pit in the back yard if possible.

Wonderful home for a reunion.
Our extended family of 13 spent three fun-filled days at this home. It was immaculately clean and everything was in working order. We loved the view of the ocean from the house. We enjoyed having a large kitchen and family room area to eat, talk, and play games together. There were a few supplies missing from the home when we arrived, but as soon as we sent an email the maintenance people responded within a very short time and came and brought us the missing items. We highly recommend this home.

Everything was perfect, from the pool table, shuffle board table, ping pong, foosball, large dining room table that seated all 15 of us. The kitchen made it easy to serve our large group quickly. The large windows on the main floor provided a great view of the ocean. Loved the house and hope to use it again next time.

Home is vary spacious, furniture needs some help, hard to get up from couch. Way to soft and your fill like you're getting up off the floor. Two very good size refrigerators, one down stairs and one in the kitchen. Beds are okay in all a great place to stay and will stay again.

Great house for family vacation!
We loved our stay at Crystal Rose. Very clean and pristine when we arrived. The house itself is beautiful and offers plenty of space for a large group of people to stay, while still having private areas to separate. Having a bathroom on each of the three levels is very convenient. The kitchen is large and is well supplied with dishes and small appliances. House is in a great location with a Safeway right up the street that we utilized often. The pool table was a lot of fun for the adults to unwind once the kiddos were in bed. Walking distance to the beach, but the house is at the top of a hill and doesn’t have an easy path to get down to the sand. Those with mobility issues might have a hard time getting onto the beach, as well as the walk back up which is uphill the whole way. Plenty of parking at the house and overall a great option to stay at. We don’t go to Lincoln City often, but will stay here again if we do! Loved it
