Galilee Lodge was clean and spacious. The well-stocked kitchen was beautiful and accommodated a large family gathering. The Great Room was an awesome meeting place! Indoor games entertained children, teens, and adults for hours! It has a beautiful view of the lake and a wonderful backyard for children. The Theater Room was awesome!
We would recommend a couple of repairs to improve convenience and safety at this location:
-Repair and service the worn rollers and closing mechanism of sliding glass door, behind dining table.
-Repair broken wooden balcony railings/posts of the upstairs bedroom balcony (facing Lake).
-Repair loose (potential tripping hazard) carpet by Foosball table, at the junction of carpet and tile flooring.
-Consider downsizing the heavy, inconvenient dining room chairs! Those loose seat convers can pinch fingers when you try to move a chair while seated!

Out entire family, Grandpa and Grandma, kids and grandkids had an amazing stay in Bear Lake. Our Vrbo rental exceeded our expectations! It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare the meals that we chose to eat in. The beds were comfy. The grandkids LOVED having the "bunk" room to stay in! The location was close to the activities we had planned. The entire family had a wonderful time!
Thank you!

We had a wonderful time here! It was spacious enough that our group of 23 didn't feel we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked and having two fridges was fantastic. The kids loved the basement and theater room. The slide from the deck and the pirate ship playground was a huge hit with the littles. The adults loved sitting out on the deck for the beautiful view of the lake. The beds were comfortable. It was a reasonable drive to everything we wanted to see and do. The only downside is there were quite a few bees/wasps on one side of the deck where the BBQ was. We did get a quick response from the owner and that was great. Sadly pest control couldn't make it there during our stay. But things like that are not unusual during the summer months and did not ruin our stay.

The property was very good. Location and number of bedrooms fit our needs perfectly. The only problem was one of the refrigerators ice maker did not work.
Everything thing else was great.
We all loved the view of the lake.
4.9
We took our entire family for an after Christmas getaway and this place had it all! We had no problem keeping all the littles entertained along with the teenagers and young adults. The pirate ship was a huge hit even in the snow. The kitchen is fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. It was only a 20 minute drive to Beaver Mountain for our snow boarders! I would highly recommend this place to any big family looking for a vacation spot.

This house was awesome! We loved everything about our stay here. The house was beautiful in a great location. Having two fridges and two ovens was great. The kitchen was definitely well stocked. There was plenty of space. And the game and theater rooms were so fun.

We used this place as a staff house for our Rising Son Retreat. It ended up being perfect for us to have as a refuge to regroup and relax. Thanks to the hosts for good communication and for a great stay.

The house was clean and in a great location. Tons of fun for a family!
4.9
The house was well located and had plenty of things for everyone no matter what age.

This is a great family property. We enjoyed the game room, the movie room and the backyard activities. Our grandkids had a great time. They loved the pirate ship playhouse. The cabin had lots of room to spread out, so we could do our own thing or get together for meals and other activities. The view of Bear Lake was impressive.
4.9
We played and played - the property met our expectations. The owners were excellent at responding to our questions.

The good:
It was clean and well stocked, and had a lot to offer visitors with a large family.
The bad: It's no where near "walking distance to town", which is really ok. It's just a short drive and my day didn't really include any time there anyway.
The greatest struggle was getting the information on how to get into the house. I did not get any emails from expedia, nor VBRO, nor the owner. I called the owner and she was certainly nice enough and gave me what I needed over the phone.

We stayed with our four gown sons and their families and had the perfect amount of separate space and togetherness. We loved the days at the beach but the evenings visiting on the deck after dinner while the kids played in the yard were the best!!
4.9
Our stay was great. We enjoyed easy access to the lake, go carts and parks.
The kids loved the game room and all enjoyed the projection room.
The house had plenty of space.

Incredible view & plenty of sleeping space. Kids loved the awesome theater room & game room. Lots of linens & big laundry room with multiple units. The kitchen was well stocked to cook for large groups.
4.9
It was wonderful. Room for everyone. A pack n play for one toddler. A gamr room for the kids. A piraye ship for the younger ones. The teenagers took over the theater room-they loved it. Plenty of room for the adults to visit. Kitchen had plenty of room to prepare family meals (for 22). Plenty fof fridge space for food. Washers & dryers very convenient.
4.9
We wanted to have a fun family trip and this place was awesome. Kids loved all the activities and they had a blast. Cabin was clean, lots of extras, communication with owners was 👍. We hope to go here again soon.
4.9
Very nice. The only negative was wasps and hornets. They made the the deck unusable at times. A monthly service might be in order.
4.9
Easy to find, fun ambiance, variety of activities as well as relaxation.. However, it didn't help our first impression that there were weeds all about the entry and junk tossed under the back decks. All & all, everyone had a good time!
4.9
This cabin was an awesome experience. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. The property was in a great location with easy lake access. There was plenty to do at the cabin as well. Great experience.
4.9
We had so much fun! There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and stay entertained while the adults were able to visit. I didn’t hear a kid say they were bored once!
There is also a closet attached to the master bedroom/bathroom with a pack n play that was perfect size for our baby!

Nice Log Cabin style home with a beautiful view of Bear Lake. Super nice kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, spices, appliances, etc. Lots of washers and dryers. Plenty of beds and bedrooms for larger families. Kids loved the pirate ship playground and twisty slide off the deck. Movie room, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and the Wii got lots of use and there was always something to do. Thanks!

We were having our wedding (2nd for bith of us and in our 60's) ceremony down at the lake and tgen about 50 people to this house to celebrate our new love. It all ended up happening in the backyard and it was spectacular! The view, accomodations, kitchen were perfect.
4.9
We spent three nights. Everyone enjoyed the media room, the foosball, ping pong, and air hockey games. We had intermittent rain so having indoor fun was appreciated. Comments were made about the seating areas overlooking the lake for quiet time. We appreciated the several washers and dryers. Another shower would have helped but we worked around it. We had an awesome time.
4.9
We had 16 adults and a 2½ year old. The toy room off of the master bedroom was a great space for her. The beds were comfortable and clean. We loved the theatre room and games in the basement. The backyard was perfect for lawn games. And the location was perfect! I just can't say enough about this place! We will be back! Communication was amazing with the host! We really had the best time!
4.9
The cabin was amazing. We celebrated my youngest sons graduation. Tons of room to spread out, and yet, room for the whole family to gather for a movie in the theater. Perfect location with beautiful views. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with anything you may need, plus a few other items not expected in a rental. Thank you.
4.9
We enjoyed this cabin for our long stay during President's Day weekend. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance or gadget we needed and 2 fridges was especially helpful. The beds were comfortable and spacious enough to fit a pack and play for our toddlers. They even had a bunch of toys for toddlers to play with and the Wii was a big hit with the teenagers. We would love to come back during the summer to enjoy the deck and playset outside.
4.9
The property was awesome. The kids loved the loft in the bunk room, the play pirate ship outside and the game room. Movie room was a hit. There was plenty of room for the 23 of us. Very clean. Kitchen is well stocked with pretty much all you would need to prepare your meals. The only disappointment was the steep driveway not mentioned on the site. It was wonderful in the winter. Amazing view of Bear Lake. Would love to revisit in the summer.

We rented this house for our family vacation that included 18 people and we loved it! Clean, well kept, great play areas outside for the grandkids, and fun game tables downstairs. The location was perfect! Just down the street from the park which made it easy to park there and walk the boardwalk to the beach. It was wonderful! We will definitely be staying here again. 😊
4.9
Our stay was a mixed bag - the views were beautiful, location of the property is great, the furniture was comfortable - however, it was obvious that the owners don't invest much into providing amenities needed for the amount of people the property says it accommodates.
They provided one travel size bar soap for the bathrooms and hand soap - so be sure you bring your own bar soap for showering! The bath towels & hand towels are all old and dingy grey. They only provided one-ply toilet paper and not nearly enough for a house of 22 people for a week - so we had to buy toilet paper and paper towels two days in. The bathroom sink upstairs doesn't drain. They left only a couple dish rags and hand towels for the kitchen, which was difficult to work with because we had 22 people in and about the place washing hands a lot. The door handles on every door are loose and difficult to lock/unlock when using. The kitchen appliances; electric griddle and one crock pot specifically both had shorts in them and they did not work well enough to cook with. There were no cleaning supplies in the bathrooms at all, so we struggled to keep things tidy during the week.
Essentially, we spent a LOT of time doing laundry to ensure we had clean towels in the kitchen and throughout the house during our stay. I have stayed in places for MUCH less money per night, that had more amenities than this place provided, so we were all quite disappointed in this and we all felt strongly that people need to be aware of what they are getting into when renting this property.
It was good that they had two washers and three dryers so we could do laundry daily, but they did not leave enough laundry soap for this purpose either. It really felt like the owners rent out this property so frequently because of it's proximity to Bear Lake, but they do not spend much money at all on the little things that make their patron's stay enjoyable.
Again, we had a nice time all things considered, but my family all agreed that if we were to choose somewhere in the area to stay again, we would choose a different place for the money we spent. It's really the little things that would make this place an excellent stay - to the owners: just spend a LITTLE more money on new towels, some regular maintenance, and enough cleaning supplies, regular size bar soap, toilet paper (2-ply) and paper towels for the guests to enjoy their stay a bit more, and you'll have an excellent property here!

Loved the location in a very quiet and calming neighborhood with beautiful views of Bear Lake. The hosts were responsive to issues that we had. The air conditioning didn't work upstairs so it was terribly hot but they were responsive and sent someone out to fix the issue.
4.9
Everyone enjoyed their stay. The air hockey, theater, and the Wii were great fun for everyone. The children loved the pirate ship and slide. We appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped and tidy. The house was clean and well furnished. We did see a mouse upstairs and killed a few big spiders inside. We never could get the sound bar to work on the main living room TV but the theater and the master TV were great! All in all it was a great place for our family reunion!! We had 10 adults and 16 children. Two were babies and there was one pack and play furnished at the house.

Great family get-away
We had a great time at our stay here. As previously indicated in other reviews, the kitchen was well-stocked with lots of pots and pans. There were plenty of plates and glasses. There were toys for our grandchildren to play with and they loved the slide off the porch. The supplies at the home were well thought-out.

Big Family Reunion
We used this beautiful large log cabin for our family reunion in June and there are a lot of us. There was more than enough room for all of our activities and plenty for sleeping accommodations, The home is well equipped with everything you would need to accommodate a large group of people. the weather was a little cool but we still got out and enjoyed walking through town and getting burgers and shakes and visiting the little shops. We spent a couple hours hiking through the Minnietonka caves well worth the visit, and another day at the amusement park The Lagoon in Farmington. We planned a day on the lake wave surfing and rented a boat and equipment from Epic Recreation Fabulous people, but it turned out to windy and cold and the company worked with us on giving us back a lot of our deposit.
We highly recommend this home and it's beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Dana the owner was a pleasure to work with.

Family Reunion
There was plenty of space for everyone. (No fighting or arguing!!)There were just the right amount of bedrooms. Plenty of bathrooms. Large kitchen area and we needed both fridges. Loved the deck for eating and playing and crafting. We had a birthday party, played games and watched TV in the large living room. Close to the shallow beach area. Kids loved the pirate ship. Everyone used the game room and the theater room. Close enough to visit caves and museums and forests. My family is already excited to do a reunion again next year. Thanks.

The google directions say place is on right when it is on the left. The home itself is fantastic - can not be used for persons with physical disabilities as it has only 1 bedroom on ground floor. The amenities there are fantastic. Just walk in and start enjoying self. The area - the fews - the local persons are so fantastic, refreshing, beautiful and so everything. Recommend this property and it's owners to anyone.

Fantastic log home with an incredible view of Bear Lake. The kids loved the house, the slide and the pirate ship, and the movie theater. There was plenty of beds for everyone and was very good for families. We really appreciated the two refrigerators and two ovens as they were needed For our large group.
