Cottage spacious and homey, especially loved the separate tv room filled w/dvds, puzzles, books etc. Once the sun shined wrap around deck was nice. Like the Waldoboro site I would highly recommend this cottage.

I was unsure if I wanted to stay in Portland or away closer to Northern Maine and Canada. I am glad we stayed here because we were close enough to some bigger towns so we could enjoy a little city life and we were just far enough away where we got away from the tourist traps.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was spotless, had lots of windows and great views, comfortable master bed, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Owner left detailed instructions and a very helpful guide to the area. We enjoyed exploring many of the coastal towns during our stay. So much to see and do in this area and staying in Cushing was a great home-base for our trip. Thank you, DeMiceli’s!

This shorefront cottage is probably the nicest experience I've had with VRBO or Airbnb. 100% satisfied. Many nice things to make it home to us. Very well designed, organized, clean, complete, with nice touches everywhere. I found myself constantly peering through the trees to look at sail and lobster boats, and I took many photos of the tides, sunsets, birds and boat traffic. Thanks you Rebecca and Jeff for this opportunity and for your contacts.

This was a great place to get away! It was perfect for enjoying a day on the deck or driving a short distance to nearby towns.

Good communication with owner. House has all amenities with a beautiful waterfrint deck. Will definitely come next year. If there is a dock, it will be much easier to launch kayaks.

We especially enjoyed water views including of the Great Blue Heron who visited almost daily. We appreciated how thoughtfully well stocked this vacation rental was! The deck was our favorite hang-out space which offered comfortable seating. The host was open to our recommendation about additional shade for hot, sunny, summer days. Providing recycling bins was helpful as it eliminated the need to transport recyclables back home. The host was timely & responsive to questions and even had a welcome gift waiting on our arrival. She also offered us an earlier check-in once the property was ready. The Great Room & TV room had lovely woodsy, water views. The coffee drinker appreciated a substantive coffee pot VS the hotel style with coffee pods. A well functioning toaster oven in kitchen was also well utilized. User-friendly door access with code VS lock box with hidden key (frustrating as they often don’t work well). We enjoyed our stay here.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. From roasting hotdogs and making popcorn oceanfront at the fire pit for my daughter and I. To Jameson point lobster co a few minutes drive for my wife to get a reasonably priced steamed lobster. As well as many small towns, eateries and beautiful sights within and hours drive. We had a wonderful vacation.

The cabin was immaculate and so well appointed. The bed was super comfy and the feeling of space with the walls of windows and high ceiling was lovely. A highlight was sitting among the tree canopy on the deck and sitting on the bench near the water watching the birds and flow of the tides. The location was convenient for mid-coast exploration but far enough off the beaten path for tranquility.

We had a great week! The cabin is very nice, with pretty much all you need for a Maine vacation! The beds are comfy, the kitchen was easy to work in, and the washer/dryer was much appreciated. We took advantage of the fire pit several nights (delightful.) We did have a bit of trouble finding it (as warned by the host) but once you get there it’s easy to navigate. The view is really special, lobster boats and sailboats, and of course sunset. Thank you!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin. The property was spotless, extremely comfortable, and had everything we needed. We like to cook so the well-equipped kitchen was amazing. It's the only rental we've ever had where we didn't have to sharpen kitchen knives! The large deck is outstanding. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the wild life, the proximity of the water, and the overall peacefulness, not to forget The sunsets! The owners are so easy to deal with. They communicate well, and even provided a tailored printed guide to the property and the many places to see in the surrounding area. Overall, our experience was wonderful.

We love this place!
Everything about Pleasant Point was great...comforable beds, well equipped kitchen, fast Internet, comfortable furniture...this house met all our needs...and that view... and those sunsets...
Our hosts also put together a local guide that was a valuable tool on where to go and what to do...
When we return to Maine (from North Carolina it's quite a hike) we'll definitely stay here again...

Relaxing, Secluded Maine Cabin
Beautiful property located right on the water with a wonderful deck to sit on and listen to the ebb and flow of the water, seagulls, and occasional lobster boat. Check in was easy, the cabin was clean, comfortable, and well stocked, and communicating with the host was easy. We will be looking to book this property again!

This quiet, beautifully maintained cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing week on the Mid-Coast. It has a gorgeous view, quiet neighbors, and a good location not too far from Rockland. Highly recommended.

A week at the cabin was just what our family of three needed. The house is comfortable, well stocked, and clean. The views are amazing, especially from the fire pit. The breeze by the water takes your worries away with it. We’ll defjnetly be coming back.

Beautiful home and location
Rebecca's home is so special. The location is unbeatable - directly on the water with lobster boats coming in all day (tremendous entertainment for a 4 year old!) making it feel like quintessential Maine. There is an amazing deck overlooking this as well as a fire pit that's perfect for the beautiful sunsets. During low tide, kids can walk between the bank and the 'rock island' safely.
The actual home is just fantastic - Rebecca is an incredible host with everything you need for your stay stocked and ready to use. It's the perfect size for a family (we had 5 people sleep comfortably) and set up so well for families with toys, games and books. Sparkling clean as well.
Rebecca adds thoughtful touches like a literal magazine she makes herself about the cabin and things to do in the area. We used this a guide for the whole week we were there.
I can't recommend this place enough - while we were there, we loved it so much we tried to book another stay a few weeks later, but it was booked during our timing.
This was one of our favorite family vacations and we hope to be able to make it an annual visit!!

Beautiful home with gorgeous views
Our stay in this beautiful and modern cabin right on the water was so relaxing… we only wish we had booked a longer stay. We got in just after dark and were welcomed with Maine treats sitting on the coffee table. The home was well appointed with a laundry, full kitchen with dishwasher, heat, and a grill on the deck. So we really didn’t mind staying in all day reading and doing puzzles while Rockland and other lovely towns beckoned us to visit. The best part of the house were the gorgeous views of the sunset over the bay . Thanks for a memorable stay!

A wonderful relaxing week...
Our stay at Pleasant Point was great! The house was well-designed, spotless and stocked (especially the kitchen) with everything we needed. The internet was strong and allowed both of us to do, or watch, whatever we wanted... and the beds were extremely comfortable. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better, more peaceful vacation. Just a beautiful place! Thank You!

Relax in beautiful Maine location.
When we first arrived I was awestruck at the view from the cottage. After entering and getting settled in we got comfortable on the large deck overlooking the water. Did not find any negatives about the location or the cottage. Very clean had pretty much everything we needed for our stay. The only problem was that we had to go home.

Covid escape
This was a great place to escape Covid. The cove was quiet and secluded, just what we needed. Putting the kayaks in was a challenge, but doable at the right time of day. You just have to watch the tides. There are easy access places to paddle at both Friendship and Owl’s Head that are definitely worth checking out.
This is a great location for a home base for checking out all the nature preserves, lighthouses and state parks from Waldoboro to Camden. Even after several previous trips to this area of Maine we found some great new treasures nearby. Lots to explore. Just watching the tide change at the cabin was an experience.
The house was very clean, all the amenities were accounted for and the colorful, cheerful decor was well done. The windows are the best!
Be prepared with dvds as there is no cable or dish. There is WiFi and a smart tv though. Plus, lots of games are available. We played a different one almost every night.
Great place, great communication. We would return.
Thanks so much Rebecca!
