This two-bedroom Cannon Beach vacation rental townhome is ideally situated about one block from the beach and is just a short walk to the popular Haystack Rock! Bring the family or a group of friends for a memorable Oregon Coast getaway!
From your Pacific Surf Townhouse, you'll find that the beach access is just across the street. Once on the sand you'll be able to fly kites, build sandcastles, rent funcycles to ride on the beach, or just spread out a blanket and spend the afternoon engrossed in a book. It's a about a mile's walk to Haystack Rock and if it's low tide, keep your eyes open for starfish and anemones in the tide pools!
Head inside after a long day at the beach and you'll love having a wood burning fireplace for chilly nights, as well as plenty of room for relaxing in the living room (including a sofa bed for additional sleeping space). For entertainment, there's a flat screen TV, cable and a DVD player. Bring your favorite movies and enjoy a night of flicks and popcorn. Or perhaps you decide to do a little work using the home's WiFi.
When it's time for meals, there's no need to head out if you don't want to, since here you'll have your own full kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances. For even more meal flexibility, the lovely patio area includes a charcoal grill. Why not throw some burgers and hot dogs on the grill one night for a simple meal? Of course, given all the wonderful restaurants in Cannon Beach, you'll probably want to have a few meals out - and the main business district, full of restaurants, is within easy walking distance of your door!
The two bedrooms are located upstairs, each with a queen size bed. Also upstairs is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. This home will comfortably accommodate up to six guests. In addition, your furry companions 60 pounds or less are welcome (though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply), so no need to make them feel left out!
Other amenities include a shared laundry room, so you don't have to worry about getting dirty while out hiking around Ecola State Park or taking a cooking class at EVOO Cooking School, and WiFi is available throughout the townhome.
Just a couple of blocks north and you'll be right in the heart of downtown Cannon Beach. Browse galleries devoted to modern art, painting, glass, photography, sculpture, and everything in between. At one of the many one-of-a-kind shops you can pick up some fudge, saltwater taffy, a kite, art supplies, or a beach-based murder mystery novel. Finish your day in town with pints of Duck Dive Pale Ale and Tillamook cheddar burgers at Bill's Tavern and Brewhouse, or walk south a few blocks to The Irish Table for mussels in coconut curry and big bowls of lamb stew.
Plan a stay at this Cannon Beach vacation rental for a truly special time at the beach. A perfect destination year-round, the north Oregon Coast has something for everyone.

Great location, clean place, comfortable beds, close to the beach and shops. Awesome stay!

Living area and kitchen are too small.

Pros: The location is great. Very close to downtown and to the beach (short walk to both). Amenities that are offered are good, plenty of storage and closet space. Fans in the bedrooms. Fireplace if you want to use it (we did not).Very convenient laundry room. Dog friendly!
Cons: Shower head did not work at all (either it was broken or it was very complicated to turn on, we tried everything). Cable box in main bedroom did not work. Wouldn’t turn on. Comfortably hosts up to 4 people not 6. You have to be ok with other people doing laundry right by your door.
In general a good stay. But for all the extra fees you pay, all things should be working properly, right?

This was our second time staying at this property in Cannon Beach, and likely won't be the last since the location really can't be topped. For this stay we did have two couples with small children and it was cozy, and the one parking space provided a bit of a challenge with us having two cars. But we made it work for a memorable long weekend.
One star deducted as the furnishings in the condo could definitely do with a bit of an update, and the second bedroom was VERY small with a slanted ceiling that made for a tight squeeze. But as mentioned, great location and would ultimately recommend.

Good location, very close to the beach. However, it was disappointing that the shower didn't work during our entire stay, which affected our experience.

The location was awesome. But poor curtain coverage in the master with light coming in ALL night from an unfortunately placed outdoor light then sunlight starting at 5:30am

Great place to stay for a trip to the beach. We had two adult and two kids. Beds were comfortable. Place was clean. Great stay.

Great location and walkable to restaurants.. just a block to the beach . Recommend for 2 to 4 guests. Did not need to communicate with the property manager.

Location was great, place was cute and we enjoyed our stay! A few things were left out or not cleaned when we arrived, but overall we had an enjoyable stay!

Enjoyed our stay. Quiet and walking distance to the beach. The laundry facilities are a plus. We will be back

We enjoyed our stay, close to the beach all amenities were close by, loved the Oregon coast will make a return visit.

Location, location, location! You are within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, market, even a community theatre. Across the street from the townhouse is the ocean.
The townhouse is cozy, with two wonderful bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom. We will definitely go back and stay there again.

Our more complete review of the property will be posted on Vacasa. We were charged for "services" by VRBO who basically did nothing but collect a fee. We thought we were renting through Vacasa but I must have clicked VRBO along the way by mistake. Any questions we had about the property and process were handled by Vacasa.

This property is conveniently located, but you need to read what you are getting carefully. The second bedroom is fine for children but challenging for a normal sized adult. The steep pitch of the roof makes the bedroom nearly unnavigable for an adult who is, for example 6 ft tall. Even shorter people would struggle. The unit is small. If you want to cook, you have to figure out how to navigate the tiny kitchen, and lack of seating for eating. The property is fine for a short stay in Cannon Beach with most all meals eaten out.

Perfect location close to the beach and several shops. We walked back and forth several times. Definitely recommend!

The listing saod accompdate six amd we booked for six. We arrived at 7h30pm, and checked the appartment, it is tiny, especially for the price we paid, i was very disappointed. Only one parking spot, yet 6 ppl, we figured that out, the listing did say 1 parking spot. The issue was in the house, it was dirty, sand and breadcrumbs every where, two of thr towels has brown stains. The pull out sofa had no linens and the only extra pillow in the house had yellow stains and smelled like wet dog. i called them, stayed on the line for 45 min, so they can give us linen, and they said they will send someone. No one came that day and they came at 10h30am the next morning, to give the extra linen. They also had the audacity to tell me that i called too late(7pm when i arrived), instead of just using basic logic that if we are 6 ppl, the house should be ready for 6ppl. Clean and ready.
This is a typical listing where property managers are taking advantage of their customers, misleading what the house can accomodate. if it was a 4ppl house, then i would say it makes sense, but 6 is not accurate.
I am disappointed with Vacasa, again, last time it was via Airbnb and they completely messed up the reservation, calling me 1h before i arrive, when i was already on the road, to give ne another address, w a smaller house and without the same amenities like hot tub etc...
be cautious with them.

Great little spot close to everything. We were very comfortable and loved how close we were to beach and town.

We came up for a short trip and had a lovely stay. Central located to Downton and the beach, you couldn’t ask for more! Would definitely stay here again!

Location was amazing. House was totally clean. Parking was crap! Do not pick number three. You have to go through multiple locked doors to get to your room. Couch and bed are so uncomfortable.

Very easy to book, great communication and updates, we arrived a little early and was allowed to enter as it was already clean, that was very nice 😀

Although small, the property is located in great proximity to beach and town. The unit itself was fine, with 2 spacious bedrooms and a nice bathroom, but the draw for this little spot is the beach and the walking distance to most everything.

Location was perfect to walk to all the shops, restaurants and the beach. Beds, bathroom and kitchen were clean. Next time we won’t stay where pets are welcomed, as smells linger. Cable box didn’t work downstairs for the tv and the place is quite worn down. Fair value overall.

Overall it was a great weekend and we enjoyed our stay! We would definitely stay again! It was so close to everything Cannon Beach had to offer. We did have to call the property managers to gain access to the laundry room so we could enter our condo. As there were no instructions in the texted message. Fencing had fallen down on the property, which was a bit of an eyesore and the unit was dirty on top of the fridge and in the upstairs bedroom, north facing window. Otherwise it was a great place!! Thank you for the opportunity to stay in Cannon Beach.

If you care about cleanliness this is not the spot for you. I am unable to attach photos but there were huge dust bunnies in the living room, cobwebs and a layer of dust everywhere. I’m disappointed since we have stayed at this property before a few years ago and it was clean but it was right as things were opening up after Covid so maybe some more care was taken.
We also texted the number that’s listed for quick responses back while we were there and never heard back! We also got a robo text about the cleanliness while we were there and I shared about the lack of cleanliness and never heard back. Thankfully nothing was urgent but it’s not ok that there is no way to communicate with the hosts, even through their own declared channels.
Skip this spot and look elsewhere. It is a great location so if there aren’t other options it’s fine but the lack of cleanliness is something to really consider.

The location to downtown and the beach was terrific.

There was visible mold all over the bathroom ceiling. And shotty patch work in the kitchen below the bathroom. Black mold is a health concern and we're sure a violation of health/ building code. Previous reviews mentioned the mold and the owners promised it had been abated. Very dissapping and gross frankly

Great stay, close enough to walk into town/shops/restaurants. Thankful for a pet friendly stay!

This property needs major updates. Be sure to know that access to the apartment is through the shared laundry and the door between the two has a 1/2” gap at the bottom allowing all noise and smells to come into the apartment. There is also mold in bathroom. Small space and furniture downstairs is not comfortable.

Super nice, comfy space! Could not have been a more perfect spot for Corgi Beach Day. Right by the beach and easy to get my dogs in and out. Would definitely stay again!

Great experience and stayed
We had a great stay. We enjoy the place and it was very clean. There were few things that concern us. The room could use an update the curtains because the window was not completely cover and the light was shine through the room so early in the morning. We couldn’t get enough sleep that we have to cover our eyes with the pillows. I would suggest to update curtain. The coffee maker was dirty on the inside, where we pour water. We couldn’t use the coffee maker. Overall, we had a great experience and stay. The place was walking distance to restaurant. It was very convenient.

It's Clean, GREAT Location, owner should do some repairs.
My wife, her folks, and I rented this unit for it's price, location, and ability to house 4 adults. We drove in from Prosser, WA for a 2 night stay to enjoy some beach walking, kite flying and to enjoy our favorite beach town.
Positives: The management was very communicative after we made the booking. We were provided an email upfront that had the access code, parking information, address etc. for the unit. Parking is limited, but they were very clear about only allowing 1 car per tenant. The housekeeper did a wonderful job of cleaning the unit prior to our arrival. Of what they would be able to clean on a daily basis they did a very detailed job. Fixtures, linens, furniture, carpets, kitchen utensils were very clean, thank you! The unit also has a lot of bonus items (beach towels and chairs, fireplace log, reading material & games for families, etc.) Great to have over a hotel. The main bedroom is really cool with vaulted ceilings and a nice layout. There's three Tvs total, great internet, and a dvd player.
Some issues: We were surprised to see that there was what appeared to be extensive mold in the bathroom on the ceiling. Additionally, (and surprisingly) there appeared to have been a water issue in the bathroom upstairs that came through the ceiling in the kitchen below. Rather than replacing the drywall in the kitchen, however they screwed two plastic sheets to the ceiling that looked very tacky. This seemed strange for a VRBO listing that short cuts like this would be used instead of doing things properly. My recommendation to the ownership is that you have a 5 star experience / unit if you repair the kitchen ceiling correctly, and deal with the mold issue in the bathroom as we did see other reviews mention this already. It was a little hard to enjoy all the great things about this unit after these issues were notice.

Great location but no shower and sandy sheets
Nice little place and great location but the bed sheets were covered in sand especially at the foot of the bed, making me wonder if they had been changed. Also, despite my efforts the shower would not turn on. Only the tub faucet.

Stay Away
To get to our unit we had to go through the locked laundry room. During our stay we heard someone come into the laundry room, we quickly checked to make sure or door was locked. A moment later we hear a key in our door and someone starting to enter our unit. I yelled for them to stay out and heard a man say: Oh, are you checked in? (we had checked in the day before) Then he says someone was complaining that they couldn't get in their unit. So, who just walks into a rented unit without knocking or calling out? We have no idea who this person was. In the remaining days we kept hearing someone enter the laundry room, never saw anyone and no laundry was being done. We felt that there was a possibility someone would enter the unit while we were out or even while we were asleep. Plenty of options for rentals in this area, do yourself a favor and don't choose this one.

A place stay in winter (not sure about warmer weather)
The place was very clean and very close to the Pig 'n Pancake, Evoo, Coaster Theater, a couple of blocks from the ocean, etc. (you can leave your car in place). There was just two of us and it worked for us. But, because of the very slanted wall in the second bedroom, I don't see how two people would be comfortable in that bedroom since banging your head on the ceiling is unavoidable on that side of the bed/room. Also, the window is right at the head of the bed, which doesn't make it pleasant to open at night (at least, not for me). But, since we were there on a lovely fall day, ventilation wasn't an issue. The front bedroom was perfect. Both beds were very comfortable. Since you are right on Hemlock, I could see where it might be noisy during summer. Depending on the time of year, I would stay there again.
