Had a great time. In our case, my wife is not mobile and we were not able to get out as much as we wanted to. The area is excellent and peaceful. Because of the difficulty in walking, I wanted a place close to the "action." Sweet Pea was perfect for that although the room is small as indicated in the promotional info. We're going back!

It doesn’t come with one reserved parking spot. This is a problem since the unit is literally above restaurants and shops - so lots of cars. The only way up to the unit is via one small elevator hidden in an info center. The steps are locked. Access requires a touch key code pad in the elevator and then a 2nd key code pad to enter the unit. Both have different numbers. The bed is located on the 2nd floor of the unit and the patio is on the 3rd floor. This place has a lot of twisted steps and is not good for small children or older folks.,

My husband and I had a great stay for the most part at Sweet Pea. The HC staff was very accommodating and helpful with anything we needed through the stay including dropping off a brand new iron, due to the current one being pretty old! The only downfalls to this location are the small bathroom and shower area. I am 7mos pregnant and the small staircase with no railing and bathroom/shower were a little bit tough for me! Otherwise, a wonderful stay right in the heart of seaside! Great view on the rooftop.

Good location, condo is part of the main square on 30A with close access to the beach and shops. Had some sand in the condo and bed but that can be expected with beachfront rentals, so not a big deal. The oven wasn't operational but we typically went out to eat every evening. We've been coming to Seaside the last 4 or 5 summers but usually stay deeper in Seaside off of 30A since we have our kids with us and need larger space, so this was the first time we've stayed in or near the square. Everything seems fine in the area until about ~ 9:00pm. Apparently the last few years Seaside has started to allow golf cart parking along with the carts driven dangerously by junior high kids all through seaside. It seems to be mostly junior high/teenagers who aren't staying in Seaside and drive over from watercolor and seagrove once that area shuts down for the night. From 9:30pm-11pm it looks and sounds like Mardi Gras for middle school aged kids in the main square and all down 30A in Seaside with screaming, loud cursing by teens/young kids...The sound in the condo is fine, we had no issues but it wasn't really enjoyable to go outside or on the patio/balcony during that time. The noise/atmosphere is fine if you're staying in Daytona Beach, Ft Lauderdale, etc during spring break but not worth it for the price families pay to stay in Seaside. Eventually police clear out the kids every night around 11pm but it's unfortunate because the lack of parent supervision with these middle/junior high school kids trying to drive golf carts will eventually lead to a preventable accident in the area, if it hasn't already happened. It's getting to the point where long time regulars will just stay elsewhere for half the cost of Seaside to get the same experience/value.

Nice location above the shops on the square in Seaside. End unit, very small, but works for 2 people. Just steps to beach/restaurants. Street noise can be heard most all the time. Property was clean, kitchen had great appliances. The view from the roof is wonderful-great spot for morning coffee/evening sunset, BUT tricky to get up there- Be cautious.Table and chairs on roof need attention - wooden and falling apart. Shower is crazy tiny! You need a step stool to reach the hanging bar in the bedroom closet. We took advantage of the bikes to bike the path up and down 30A, went to the pool one afternoon, and took pickle ball lessons at the tennis club. Workout room had top equipment. Parking was not a problem for us at the back of the building. We would recommend this property. Modeca Market is great-good coffee! Good food @ food trucks, Great Southern Cafe, Cafe 30A, Bud & Allie's upper deck, Surfing Deer all good restaurants.

Had a great stay at Seaside! Location was perfect. While in the middle of all the action - near beach, restaurants and bars - it was peaceful and quiet. Apartment is nicely set up although a bit tight, particularly to get up on roof top. But beautiful views and sunsets up there. All was nice and clean, although we did see a few roaches. Some improvement needed with regards to instructions when arriving regarding parking. Once you know it's no problem but first time needs a bit more detailed instructions. Great place and we had a wonderful time!!! Hope to be back soon.

When we arrived at our rental, the first thing we noticed were huge cracks on the ceiling , with paint bits on the floor, plus a big crack all the way down the front door window. We reported it to management and asked to move to another location. We were concerned that more of the ceiling would fall down. We were told the only space available was a 5 bedroom location that would have cost us $600 more. We didn't need such a big space and weren't prepared to spend the extra money . sweet pea was terrible- should be taken off the market-it was dirty, needed many maintenance issues, furniture old and worn, bedroom so small we had to put suitcases in the living room. After one night they moved us to Hook, Line and Sinker which was beautiful and large. The management company help us move and were very friendly and helpful. The location was great and views were amazing. There were very few blankets and the place was freezing. Oven and stove did not work so we were not able to cook food we bought. The management company said to text with any issues but they would ignore texts or respond several hours later but then do nothing. When I called the number suggested for any issues I could not get through to a person. Definitely, would not stay there again.

Perfect Short Stay for Family of 3
After reading a few prior reviews before our stay, we were concerned about the condition of this rental; however, when we arrived it smelled SO fresh and was SO clean (spotless), there were no bugs, location was perfect, and the check in and check out process was super easy.
The place is small, and as a taller family (two 5’11 adults plus a six year old), the shower is a bit tough to maneuver but certainly doable for a couple nights, however; if you are larger it could be an issue.
The bed! Oh my - SO comfortable. Linens and towels were definitely first class. Welcome gift was certainly appreciated and the rooftop views are awesome. There’s plenty of storage as well as a full sized fridge with an ice maker which was very handy.
Being right in the middle of all the action, I was worried about the noise, but we didn’t hear much of anything while inside which was a pleasant surprise.
The upstairs a/c is SO COLD which we LOVED. It’s so fun after a hot sun filled day at the beach to snuggle up in a plush bed with super super cold a/c blowing!
Parking was super convenient if you get lucky to get a spot right by the unit (we did)!
We would certainly stay here again although if we stayed longer we may need something with a washer and dryer as this does not have that.
Oh! And you are nearly right above the market which is so convenient to stock up on any needs or if you are an early riser to get coffee/breakfast before the rest of the town opens.

It was a fun spot to stay, the couch cover looked like it desperately needed washed or replaced.

The property was very but much smaller then we thought. The elevator was under repair for several days during our stay, which made unloading the car a bit of a challenge. The view was fantastic of the ocean especially the private rooftop.

Sweet Pea was the perfect property for us and I foresee us staying here every time we come to Seaside! It's the perfect size for 2 (though it can sleep 4, that would make for some tight quarters). The location and views are amazing! The management staff are extremely professional and prompt to respond and address any issues that may arise. We had some trouble with the AC and heat on our arrival but the issue was addressed quickly. Don't hesitate to book this beautiful cottage!

To access the roof, up 4 stairs next to bed (with storage drawers under 2 of them) and climb through a “dollhouse” sized door and up about 10 steep stairs to the star of the show! Great views of the homes of Seaside as you look toward the sunrise and all the action along 30A up and down the coast. Access to Sweet Pea is located on the 3rd floor of the Dreamland Heights building in Central Square of Seaside. Building lobby entrance near Modica market. Secured elevator opens to a courtyard with 8 units. A Set of stairs by entrance to Sweet Pea puts you out on the strip. Worth noting: lots of stairs, small shower for 1 (2 would be tight,) bathroom by kitchen means careful at night as you come down curving stairs. Great, powerful A/C super cooled bedroom. (No mustiness, etc.) Rooftop deck is private in case you want to sunbathe sans suit. Sweet Pea was great for 2 people, 4 people would be rather cozy (sofa bed as you walk in.) You’re at the beach and basically, most of your time is spent outside. With A/C (or fan blower) on, any crowded street noise (if any) is silenced.As you can tell, we were THRILLED with all the features of Sweet Pea. The only thing better would be if we owned this little charmer.

Access to Sweet Pea is located on the 3rd floor of the Dreamland Heights building in Central Square of Seaside. Building lobby entrance near Modica market. Secured elevator opens to a courtyard with 8 units. A Set of stairs by entrance to Sweet Pea puts you out on the strip.
Worth noting: lots of stairs, small shower for 1 (2 would be tight,) bathroom by kitchen means careful at night as you come down curving stairs. Great, powerful A/C super cooled bedroom. (No mustiness, etc.) Rooftop deck is private in case you want to sunbathe sans suit. Sweet Pea was great for 2 people, 4 people would be rather cozy (sofa bed as you walk in.) You’re at the beach and basically, most of your time is spent outside. With A/C (or fan blower) on, any crowded street noise (if any) is silenced.
As you can tell, we were THRILLED with all the features of Sweet Pea. The only thing better would be if we owned this little charmer.

Quiet and relaxing beach escape!
My wife and I stayed at Sweet Pea for a long weekend with our 11 week old daughter for our first trip away from the house since she was born. This place is perfectly convenient to food/beach/pool without the need to drive anywhere and quick and easy access back to the place when we needed to return for the baby! The property managers were incredibly helpful and responsive to all of our needs and the amenities of the location are very generous!

This was our first visit to Seaside. Despite the crazy weather, we really enjoyed the town. And this cute little townhouse was perfect for my son and me.
