About this apartment rental
Intended to be your home away from home, this three-bedroom, two-full bathroom condo is the ultimate summer getaway for your friends and family or for that much needed all-season weekend retreat. A two-foot story, cathedral ceiling living room and a well-designed loft are perfect places to sit back and unwind after a blissful day at the beach. Add ambiance and coziness by lighting a fire in the full-sized wood burning fireplace during off season weekend getaways and visits. An inviting dining room adjacent to a fully equipped kitchen makes meal-prepping a breeze. Additionally, easily accessible on the main floor is the cozy master bedroom and a sleek master bathroom. On the second floor are two more, well-appointed, and comfy bedrooms, and a designer bathroom that guarantee adequate privacy and rest for everyone. Lastly, you will long remember taking in the view of Silver Lake and its abundant wildlife from the balcony.
Just a leisurely short walk from the condo and you will find yourself in the center of action on Rehoboth Avenue, with all the specialty shops and the finest restaurants Rehoboth Beach has to offer. Moreover, the beach and the boardwalk offer nothing less than spectacular views of the natural beauty of the Delaware coast. Take a stroll on the boardwalk at the crack of dawn to watch the sunrise, lazily lounge in the warm, honey-colored sand of Rehoboth Beach while taking in the sights and sounds of a beautiful summer day. Ahhhh.....life is good.
A complete set of bed linens are provided in all of the bedrooms. A bath and a hand towel are provided for each guest, but guests need to bring their own beach towels. Two bikes, four beach chairs, and a beach umbrella are available for free, in addition to a log in the fireplace during winter. We also provide assigned parking in the community and a seasonal parking permit for residential parking anywhere that is not metered within Rehoboth Beach city limits. In addition, the property is located near the local school where, outside of school class time hours, the public can play tennis, pickleball, and basketball, and kids can play on one the more amazing playgrounds to be found anywhere. The courts are brand new and not very busy
Note: for vacationers with young children, although it is not evident, the railing over the loft is encased with a clear plexi glass. This precaution was taken to keep young children from going through or up the metal wiring running through the railing. Baby gates and plug guards are provided for guests who may wish to use them.

Paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, dishwashing liquid, machine dishwasher soap, a sponge, and a garbage bag in the kitchen and bathroom garbage cans.
We do not provide any of the following: beach towels, beach umbrellas, wash cloths, or laundry detergent, so please bring them with you or purchase them when you get to Rehoboth. There are many full service grocery stores, just a short drive from the property.
Grilling is only permitted in entrance well-ways as far from the building as possible. We do not provide a grill for cooking. Some guests buy disposable grills at the grocery store to grill on or bring a small grill with them. That is just fine.

The condo is on the SECOND AND THIRD FLOORS of a townhouse-like property. There is one main entrance door to the townhouse-like property, and upon entering there are TWO doors leading to two separate condos. Upon entering Heron Place, a set of stairs leads you to the unit.

We had a great time here. Loved turtle bridge and being close to playgrounds for kids. Easy to walk into town if you don’t mind a little walk.
The apartment had everything we needed and was well equipped.
We did wish the listing had mention that there are two flights of stairs - not just from the first to the second floor, but also to get into the apartment was a very steep set of stairs that wasn’t the easiest for my 3 year old daughter or 70 year old mother. Was also not the cleanest and was noisy at times.

The condo's location is ideal for adults and children seeing as there are two playgrounds less than 5min walk from the condo.
The grounds are well kept and the pool is beautifully situated right next to silver lake.

Very quiet place, we were a little worried at first because it looked like they were doing some construction nearby but there were cleaning up. We go there Friday night and it was a very nice place and very quiet and clean. Very close to all the restaurants and downtown area.

Heron Place was an amazing find! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the beach traffic and congestion, yet close enough to walk! It was the best of both worlds, and Jonathan was an amazing communicator. We will def be back!

It was a 5 day stay for myself & 2 friends from my 20s. We were all teachers there! The place was nicely decorated & modern. It had everything we needed. For 4 days it was nice, relaxing, & quiet. When the neighbors came on our last day, we could hear them talking & hear the barking from their 2 dogs. I’m glad we only had to hear them for 1 of our days. Other than that, it was great! The owner was wonderful to deal with.

Heron Place is clean, quiet and comfortable. It's an easy walk into town for shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. across the foot bridge. Check in was simple and Jonathan was quick to respond to all emails. The only caution is the stairs to the unit - they are a bit narrow and would be hard to navigate for those with mobility issues. Overall, a great stay!

I stayed here for the Rehoboth Marathon in December. Everything about the condo was good and as advertised. It’s an easy walk (under a mile) to the bandstand, less to other places on Rehoboth Ave. Jonathan was very responsive and everything about checkin and checkout was easy.

We had a lovely time with our two adult kids, who got breaks from their work. The condo is near the beach, and overloooks a pond. The host, Jonathan, is quick to respond to queries.The condo was clean and well equipped, if a bit snug. Will try and come back in Summmer.

Great location, easy to get to Rehobeth Beach, the boardwalk and other nearby beaches. The playground at the school next door was a bit hit, as were the turtles in the waterway behind the unit. Overall the unit was pretty clean - we would have liked some extra sponges, paper towel, soap and toilet paper. Check in was very easy and we appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella that were available for us to use. In terms of the unit setup, our personal preference would have been to have a tv in the downstairs living room (vs upstairs) because our kids (1 and 3) slept in the rooms upstairs. We used our iPad to watch tv once our kids went to sleep. Would stay here again.

Property was exactly as listed. Location was beautiful (we loved walking over the turtle bridge), quiet and perfect for walking to beach and town. Having the pool a few doors down was great. This is a very nice set up for adults, but would advise those with toddlers to consider carefully as there are two flights of narrow open steps, though the loft does have plexiglass for protection. We stayed a week with 6 adults and an infant. We found it a bit challenging to live out of suitcases as only one bedroom had real drawers for clothing (would have been fine for 2 or 3 nights). The owner was very responsive during our stay when I reached out with questions. Would definitely recommend Heron Place!

This condo fit our needs perfectly. We had 3 adults. If you like a good walk this location was great for walking to the boardwalk (not with a lot of stuff) and to Rehoboth avenue for shopping and dinner. If you’re not a walker, it’s a very short drive. The condo was equipped with all the kitchen basics. It was clean and cozy and the owner provided great instructions on everything!

We all really liked the modern aesthetic of this nice little condo. Cozy, cool, and quiet, this was the perfect place to spend a weekend in Rehoboth. A short 10-minute walk from everything, the location was also excellent. Large beds were a + and the two living spaces were fun to hang out in. For about as much as a hotel room in Rehoboth costs per night, this is a much better option for a small group and we would definitely rent it again. Thanks!

The location of rental was great walking distance to down town. The cleanliness was fair, dishes left in dishwasher, floors very dusty (if you walk around in socks covered in dust and dirt) and showers were not clean (floors dirty and hair in both). The kitchen had bare minimum if you plan to cook. If you are looking for good location for a shortstop this is a good choice.

Everything went very smoothly checking in and out. Lots of information and details provided about the house and surrounding location. 10 minute walk to the beach, parking pass if you prefer to drive and park, or there’s also 2bikes. We enjoyed our stay so much. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

This condo was perfect for us and our young adult children. It is exceptionally clean, well appointed and makes good use of the space. The location was convenient to everything; we made good use of the bikes going to the downtown, the beach and just touring around. The quiet, private balcony facing the lake is an added bonus, though the pool was never crowded when we visited either. There are too many nice touches to mention and Johnathan’s guides and instructions were the best ever from a property owner! Highly recommend!

Great Stay!
Overall we had a great time staying at the condo! The location was perfect - when you cross Turtle Bridge it is a quick walk into the town. The place we clean and exactly as we expected based on pictures. Would definitely stay here again when we come back!

Family Vacation
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Jonathan laid out the information making it easy to access everything easily. The loft was nice so that the kids had their own space. I was disappointed with the cleanliness. I set up the coffee grinder and coffee pot for the next morning but both were dirty. The last thing I felt like doing after a long day of travel with kids was to scrub a dirty coffee grinder and coffee maker. There were still dishes in the dishwasher. The location was nice- lots of nearby restaurants, right off a nice walking trail, short drive to the beach, and two playgrounds just a minute away.

Great townhouse in central location, within walking distance to beach and boardwalk/Main Rehoboth area. Quiet setting on the lake, plenty of wildlife to make it seem like you're away from it all. Home was clean, accommodations were very comfortable. Looking forward to a return trip!

Serenity at the Shore
Our stay at 34 Newbold Square was wonderful and exactly what we wanted and needed: it is a beautiful space, quiet and well-appointed; has easy access to downtown Rehoboth Beach as well as tennis and pickle ball courts right outside the property (courtesy of Rehoboth Elementary School during off-hours); and includes the incomparable beauty of Silver Lake, full of geese, ducks, fish and of course the turtles that give the walking bridge its name.
It is a lovely property with a very responsive and responsible homeowner. High marks all around.

Good location in Rehoboth
This is a great option to consider when visiting Rehoboth. The location by the lake was quiet and pretty. It's a ten minute walk to the main drag of restaurants and shops. We didn't walk to the beach because it was very hot, but Jonathan provides parking passes, and it was easy to park pretty close to the beach. The condo was clean, and it was more spacious than we expected. The owner provided very thorough directions for everything from the Wi-Fi to laundry. And he was very responses when I texted him a question or two. We highly recommend
