About this house rental

This quintessential in-town home is just a 5 minute walk to Main St. and all the in town shops and restaurants. The harbor is just steps away and beaches are easily reached by car or bike for which the home has off street parking. The WAVE, Nantucket's public bus route, is also one-block away. Beach chairs, towels, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards and toys are provided making beach trips fun and easy.

Three stories of spacious living include a gracious first floor entry, queen bedroom with en suite bathroom, open living room, den/office, half bathroom, bar area with Sub-Zero and kitchen with island and eat-in dining table. The second floor includes two queen bedrooms, full bathroom with tub, media room with 55" 4K TV and custom queen pull-out sofa and king master bedroom with en suite bathroom and TV. The third floor includes a sleeping area with two twin beds, en suite bathroom, game table and bean bag chairs and well as many board games, books and DVDs for kids to watch on the TV. A pack-n-play along with sheets and a high chair are also available for your use. The first floor mudroom and laundry area has ample shelving, storage, washing machine and two dryers. L'Occitane shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap are provided in each bathroom along with blow-dryers.

The large patio has an outdoor shower, fire pit and deluxe patio furniture with umbrella. A set of french doors leads from the kitchen to a connected blue-stone outdoor dining area complete with grille, umbrella, dining table and chairs for twelve to complete this in town charmer. The bench and bucket space on the brick patio is made perfectly for leaving sandy shoes and should be used to protect the historic pine floors.

Incredible spot. Location is great and the house was very charming and in awesome shape. Owners were clearly very kind and as responsive as they could be. We didn't have our kids for this trip, but it would be great for that too with an awesome space on the third floor for kiddos. Nothing but high marks for all the things that matter the most, and highly recommend. Only complaint was on VRBO / its messaging system all wknd. Most notable issue was it somehow cut off the last 3 letters of the WiFi password in the arrival instructions, which was actually pretty complicated... (a) service is spotty in this part of town (same as much of town) and (b) for some reason you literally cannot use VRBO's app effectively without WiFi... The owners/manager were great though and as responsive as they possibly could have been to get it figured out.

House was perfect for our gathering. Comfortably slept 9. It was just a short walk to shops and restaurants and churches. We enjoyed the patio area, especially the large fire pit. The outdoor shower was an added bonus.

What a lovely property! The house was exactly as pictured in the listing. The bedrooms are spacious, plenty of bathrooms, great gathering space in the kitchen and the back yard. The house even comes with bikes and beach chairs! Plus, the location can't be beat! We would gladly stay at this beautiful home again.

Our group stayed for a week in July 2022, and consisted of two couples (each with a 3 year old) and a nanny. The home had plenty of space, lovely decor, and was in an amazing location. The indoor space was open and spacious and the outdoor areas were beautiful and large enough to accommodate us comfortably. Everything was as expected, and the listing was very accurate. We did notice that the WAVE shuttle passed down the side of the house very frequently, which was loud while enjoying the outside spaces, but otherwise the house was perfect!

Perfect home for our 10 person family. Short 7 min walk to town. Bikes, beach chairs and beach towels and modern kitchen and bathrooms……will definitely be back.

House was very clean and as advertised. Newer bathrooms with good water pressure. Nice, comfortable furnishings throughout. Enjoyed the plentiful amenities (bikes, towels, beach chairs, etc.) at the house for our use. Would definitely book again!

My family and I enjoyed our stay a the Back East Property. It was a perfect location/setting to have all my siblings and parents under one roof. The cottage was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. The location was very convenient to walk into town and having a driveway to park our car enabled us to explore the island as well. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor dining and lounging areas by the fire! Highly recommend!

Took my wife to Her favorite place on earth for her 50th. The Back East property delivered. Close to everything and just a super home to stay at. Rooms were comfortable and the living spaces were perfect whether we dined in or wanted to pre game before we went out.

We had a wonderful week in Nantucket in this beautifully decorated and fully renovated home. Our whole family enjoyed the patio space and the house itself which has more space than you think from reading the posting on VRBO. We rented during the COVID period so our only issue was cleanliness. There was one housekeeper cleaning the house when we checked in and she ran an hour past check in time. We expected a cleaning crew so we did a lot of extra cleaning to be safe when we moved in. The landlord was incredibly responsive when they discovered that the Smart TV in the upstairs media room was broken. The TV was fixed by Tuesday after we moved in on Saturday because of their extraordinary efforts.

We rented in Nantucket for almost 10 years now and this is the nicest property we've stayed in. The house is beautiful, clean, charming and in a great location. Communication with the owner was easy and made for a great vacation with family and friends.

We stayed at this property for Daffy Weekend and it completely exceeded our expectations. The home is newly renovated with great interior design, and so beautifully appointed. The owner, Allison, was super responsive throughout the booking and our stay, and she truly anticipates any and all needs-- I have never stayed at a house rental with such attention to detail. Lastly, the house is a very quick walk into town. Would love to return!
