About this house rental
This unit provides guests with a spectacular and one-of-a-kind view of the beach on a gorgeous rooftop deck furnished with artificial turf, several lounge seats, and of course a hot tub for you and your party to relax in. Upon walking in the property, visitors are met with a quaint kitchenette and a secondary dining and living space. The first floor is home to 2 bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed. There is no need to push or schedule for a bathroom because there are 2 bathrooms, one for each bedroom. Two more bedrooms with king size beds resides on the second level along with 2 additional bathrooms. Travel up to the top level, and you are met with a gorgeous living room that opens up to a fantastic view of the ocean through panoramic doors. There is also a full-size kitchen and dining space along with additional bedrooms and bathrooms.

We stayed at this property for a “siblings and spouses” reunion. It was the perfect place to get away and enjoy each other and the luxuries of being near the beach and have non-stop ocean sounds and beautiful views. We had a few checkin issues that were VERY quickly resolved, and we were compensated with a late checkout which was really what we needed with our big group. I was VERY impressed with the ease of communication with property management and their responses. As the one who signed the agreement, I also made use of the great app which makes everything even easier. Take advantage of it! We addressed small repair items with the management, expressed that they could be done after our departure, and we trust they will be done. I would highly recommend this particular property and Beachfront as the property management company. Thank you!

Beautiful view, as you can tell from the images in the listing. Lots of bedrooms for us to spread out. Two washer/dryer sets were helpful. Mentioned a couple of minor maintenance items and they were right on it. Lots of stairs were a workout. Garage has car lifts which made getting in and out of the garage a bit tricky.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house is on 4 levels. Lots of stairs. There is an elevator which we did not use. I am very particular about cleanliness. The house is well maintained & was very clean, especially the kitchen & bathrooms. The kitchen had everything! We cooked frequently & appreciated the selection of pans & bakeware. The appliances are new. The beds were comfortable & the rooms were spacious. The only reason I gave it four stars was a lack of hot water for showers. We did have 14 people, but we never took showers at the same time. There is a nice path in front of the property for walking. Every morning we had coffee on the deck & watched the dolphins. I would definitely recommend this property!

This place was all about comfort, accessibility, and stress-free. Every inch of this place was well-organized to what exactly you need to make it like your home and MORE. It was a well-thought setup especially the kitchen and entertainment area where we mostly stayed as a family.
Entering the site was already a show-stopper. Literally, my family sat down instantly and watched the view. Yes, they forgot to help out. We had to snap them out of it and get them to finish unpacking, but it was truly mesmerizing especially the fresh sea breeze.
Every room was all about comfort plus it each has its own bathroom, accessories, fan, heater, and towels. Seriously, the organization is impeccable.
The kitchen was so clean, fully-functional, plus with a dining that was truly accommodating. It was so ideal for our big family to celebrate. You just have to see it for yourself.
... few thorns from those roses... well, parking is tight, but doable. No biggie. There was a clicker, which I found out just before we left. I wish a knew since it was a nice touch. (I blame the gorgeous view when we first came.) The beach was few minutes walk, but lots of rocks and crowded perhaps try going on the left side not sure if its better.
I'm glad how it all turned out. I even got lots of praises for finding this place, but pretty much I wouldn't look good if the place wasn't so phenomenal. Thank you to the staff as well, they were responsive before, during, and after our stay. Impressive service.

The view was really beautiful! However, if you want a home that is directly at the sandy beach this isn’t it. There is a small area to go down to, but it is filled with rocks. We didn’t mind making the drive, it would’ve been a 25-30 min walk. Also, the home is very beautiful the a lot of space! They do have an elevator in case there are people that can’t go up 4 flights of stairs. We would definitely come back here to stay.

Our family of 13 enjoyed our stay at the Oceanside. The top floor has a huge table that seated everyone with room to spare. The space lent itself to games, talking and had great views of the ocean. We took advantage of the outside space that has a firepit stand, seating and a grill.

The Good: Great "Ocean" views and quiet neighborhood.
The Bad: Seemed like a great location until we realized there is no beach access. Ok, there is ocean access, but no beach. There is access to the ocean down the street, but this access takes you to a tiny beach covered in fist sized rocks. Beyond that is jetty boulders. No sand! If you want sandy beaches, its a mile walk towards the Oceanside Pier. Nice beach there. The house: gaps in the floors, furniture is heavily worn and stained badly enough we couldn't relax on it. Gross! Upper deck did not have lounge chairs as depicted in photos, so couldn't relax there. The outdoor furniture that was there, was found to be tattered, heavily worn out, torn cushions, uncomfortable. Showers not clean with hair stuck to the shower walls, Plugged bathroom sink drain, ice maker not functioning, slimy inflatable spa tucked away with no views.
The Ugly: Apparently the mini split AC units are all mounted up high in the garage and produce so much heat, making the garage so freaking hot with no ventilation. So hot it melted the sunroof seals, steering wheel controls, and distorted the plastic bumper on my Land Rover. The steering wheel controls literally fell off the wheel, sunroofs stuck closed, rear door difficult to open and could not close it due to distortion. Honda windshield and door rubber melted. Yes, melted!!!
We made management aware of the problems with the rental and their response, after a week or so, was a couple hundred dollar refund, a 10% credit towards another rental, and nothing for the vehicle damage, which is clearly their fault. "We don't cover damage to personal property."
Btw, the neighbors in the unit next door, managed by the same company, left their vacation early for mostly the same reasons.
We did not mind paying $$$$$ for a stay in a place with all the possibilities this home had promised. They fell well short of delivering what is depicted and described in the listing. Not a $$$$/night experience.

Disappointing in every way
This was a family reunion long in the making. It turned out that the property management firm tarnished much of it.
First we attempted to drop some surf boards off a few hours early--well, it turns out we could for $300. Then we discovered the fine print showing that the beach may look different than the pictures listed was dead on--it was rocky and abrupt and not at all conducive to a small family. Then the gate code stopped working. That, at least they fixed. The dishwasher--which never worked--never was fixed. Lets just say that we washed a lot of dishes by hand...
It turns out these guys are a big property management company. If being treated like you are on the wrong end of corporate policy on your vacation sounds good to you, then you might like this place. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and avoid. Seriously.

Relaxing bachelor party
All 13 of us who stayed here were overly impressed and happy with our choice to stay at this location. It's about a mile south of The Strand and 2 miles south of Oceanside Pier, which was a pretty great walk on a 65-degree day. The house itself was much larger than we expected, but then again it sleeps 14, so maybe I should have expected it. As we came in on the main floor, we couldn't believe how many stories there were, it just kept going up. There were plenty of dishes in the kitchen and we cooked quite a few meals on the rooftop grill. All of the beds were super comfy, the pull out couches are what you'd expect. Overall everybody that stayed was super happy and couldn't belive the views from inside with the folding doors opened up. The ocean breeze was great, as was the house, thank you for hosting us.

Beautiful Place!
This was a wonderful place for our family to stay while in the area for a Marine Corp graduation. Beautiful location, views and home. We saw dolphins! Not listed but available for an additional fee is an elevator in the home! This was a great help as the home is on 4 levels. The lift in the garage is very challenging to park around, as others have mentioned. I hope management can remove it someday. One bedroom is right off the kitchen and has closet doors, instead of a wall/real door on one side. Not at all private or sound proof and much smaller than the other bedrooms. Keep this in mind if everyone in your group is expecting private/quiet space, someone will be disappointed. Overall great and hope to stay there again!

The exterior door and keypad locks gave us some trouble when we first got to the house, which made it a little difficult to get in since we arrived after business hours for the property management company. Eventually got in though!

Awesome house
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was plenty big enough for 4 adults and 6 kids. Ages 11-16. Listening to the ocean and watching dolphins swim by was amazing. The house was clean and came with everything we needed. You are able to access some beach/sand by the house but to spend a whole day with the family Oceanside Pier and beach is a short 5 minute drive. Highly recommend.

The kitchen was well stocked with glassware, dishes, pots and utensils. The view from the living room and the upstairs balcony was absolutely gorgeous. The accordion windows open up wide and you can hear the soothing waves. The management company was helpful but sometimes they got their properties a little confused. We called about the garage ahead of time, and they assured us there was no lift in the garage (“that’s another property”) but when we arrived, there was a lift in the garage! It does limit the space. A mid sized SUV and sedan would fit if you’re careful not to hit the poles... We were able to find additional parking on the street in front of the property (no parking Monday for sweeping) and everything was okay. Overall we thought the property was very clean, beds were comfortable, and having multiple bathrooms is a big plus. The only caveat is all the stairs you have to climb for the four levels. The cleaning crew seems to do an excellent job. Even the glass balcony borders were spotless. We enjoyed hanging out on the balcony! We would love to stay again!

Before we even arrived, I had 2 of the rudest messages I have received on my phone from a Nancy and a Cheryl. These messages were addressing the fact that they don’t “host parties” and that we were “being watched.” Like I said, this is before arrival. No noise complaints or anything out of the ordinary. EVEN worse, they send someone by unannounced in the first night of the stay to take pics inside d make sure it’s ok.... My group included a Dr, several affluent businessmen, a DC lobbyist.... We’re all adult professionals and were treated like college frat boys. For the high price of this rental, I absolutely expected a warm welcome and high quality customer service. Instead me and my party were harassed during an extremely special event. I advise finding other accommodations.

Beautiful but beware of stairs
The house is beautiful and very accommodating for multiple families, but there are a ton of stairs as the house is 4 levels (and steep stairways) - not good for seniors! The house has an elevator but as a renter, we were not allowed to operate it. Also, 2 of the downstairs, bottom floor bedrooms were not as featured in photos. The beds are on these weird platforms, making the beds extremely high (not featured in any of the photos). Another downside, not mentioned, is the garage car lift!!! This made it very difficult to park two SUV's, specially after calling beforehand to ask about the parking situation - a lift in the garage was never mentioned.

Beautiful getaway
Our party of 12 enjoyed the weekend getaway to the beach house! My 3yo nephew keeps saying he wants to “go back tot he beach house!” We hired a private chef for dinner one night and that was amazing (Check out Chef Darrell Campbell)! The house was large enough for the chef to do his thing while we all relaxed around the house. House is walking distance to various restaurants or take-out/order in. Just a heads up to future guests, parking spots in the garage are on the smaller end if you drive an SUV (they fit but just a heads up) or there’s also plenty of street parking in front of the home. We loved our stay and can’t wait to be back.

Think noise 8-5 even on Saturdays, drilling, banging! The reason I am mostly upset is that the management company basically acted like they had no idea about any construction, which is impossible as I am certain others would complain about waking up from master bedroom to “gorgeous” views & noise of construction. More than that, 4 days after our stay and my multiple asks for someone to contact me regarding my experience - I have not had one call back! I have stayed at plenty of vrbo properties, and this is something that is always discussed before and prices adjusted for as it really kills the vibe for such a beautiful ocean view property.

The reason I am mostly upset is that the management company basically acted like they had no idea about any construction, which is impossible as I am certain others would complain about waking up from master bedroom to “gorgeous” views & noise of construction. More than that, 4 days after our stay and my multiple asks for someone to contact me regarding my experience - I have not had one call back! I have stayed at plenty of vrbo properties, and this is something that is always discussed before and prices adjusted for as it really kills the vibe for such a beautiful ocean view property.

This home is as described. We had two families staying with a total of 10 people (four couples, two by themselves). Plenty of space. Some needed to do work and had calls/zooms while we were there, and it was no problem finding quiet areas with the multiple levels. As for entertaining, the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, wine glasses and appliances. There was also a small supply of spices which was helpful for cooking. Evenings on the rooftop was a perfect way to end each day.
