Cozy little place conveniently located minutes from Helen. After a little confusion over the mention of murphy beds, we settled in and had a great time here. The Blackstone was great for making breakfast for everybody! Amazing views!

Our family had a wonderful time. The view was spectacular and the house was perfect for us. Helen was a beautiful town to visit right down the road. We really enjoyed our visit!

What a beautiful and adorable property. The views were gorgeous and ever changing. The cabin was cozy and spacious. The porch offered many sitting options to read and enjoy nature. Loved how close the cabin was to everything but also offered seclusion to relax. We hiked up Yonah mountain from the cabin. It was a very challenging yet rewarding hike. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.

Cloud 9 was a perfect cabin for our family. We had seven in total with 2 dogs. The views were spectacular and the cabin was cozy and decorated so warmly. You're up and away from town but still close to things you may need. We enjoyed the pool table, extra cabin space, hot tub, views, the gated off porch area where our dogs could roam but not escape & the surrounding outdoors as well. We would definitely return! The hosts were quick to respond prior to and following our visit and I'm sure they would be during the visit as well, but we had zero issues to contact them about during our stay. Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with us!

My wife & I rented this cabin for our 7th wedding anniversary. Brought our Jack Russell along for it too. The vibes were everything with this cabin! Soft lighting and music greeted us as we walked in, the views from the porch were just breathtaking. We couldn’t get unpacked fast enough so we could enjoy some wine out there. Speaking of wine, this cabin is in such a centralized location that one day we drove to dahlonega to visit wineries and the next day we drove to Helen and back a few times! Perfect for a couple or small family!

The cabin was awesome! It is slightly smaller than expected just because it's hard to capture in pictures. That does not take away from the whole experience. We absolutely will be back. The porch and sunrise were amazing. Just a heads up on the size because we could not all be in the living room at the same time because of the size. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Cloud 9! My husband and I and our 2 kids stayed in the main cabin, and my mother stayed in the guest cabin, which was nice so we could have some space. The cabin is in a great location- 10 min drive to downtown Helen. Lots of hiking and wineries nearby. The cabin is adorable and exactly as described. Our kids got a kick out of the bear theme and especially loved the plush bear on the ceiling beam. The view is truly jaw-dropping and one of the best parts of staying here. We also enjoyed the hot tub! At night we enjoyed getting cozy on the couch under some blankets watching a movie. We appreciated that we were able to bring our German Shepherd with us too- she loved joining us for hikes! Overall a very relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable vacation! Alan was also a very kind and helpful host! We hope to come back again.

The property was excellent, especially the view! We enjoyed hiking up Yonah Mountain. Saw hot air balloons take off from Helen while enjoying morning coffee on the deck. Kids enjoyed the guest cottage. Great amenities!

What a great location to enjoy all the area has to offer! From the deck of Cloud 9, we enjoyed watching the sun rise and the ever changing mountain views. The cottages are cozy, comfortable and well-appointed. Our young adult daughters liked staying in the smaller cottage, which afforded them and the older folks more privacy. We shopped for groceries and cooked several dinners and breakfasts on the Blackstone grill. The kitchen is stocked with all you need to prepare meals; just bring your oils and spices! The host, Alan, was quick to respond when we had any questions. Based on his recommendations, we drove out to have dinner at the Bleu Canoe. Great food and service! We also hit the Nacoochee Village Tavern for lunch. Fantastic pizza! In Helen, we loved Hoefer’s Bakery for dessert and Hansel and Gretel’s Candy Shop (the big one closest to Nacoochee Village). And if you like roller coasters, don’t miss the Georgia Mountain Coaster! Highlights were Anna Ruby Falls, hiking in Smithgall Woods State Park, zip lining in Unicoi Park and the challenging hike up Mt Yonah. Our favorite wineries were Cottage Vineyards, Mount Yonah Winery and Friday Fun at Serenity Cellars, for live music on the piazza; we took our own charcuterie to nibble as we sipped their wines. Awesome! We had a blast and can’t wait to go back!

This house was well located near Helen and other activities.
Other pros include:
Hot tub
Incredible view!
Clean
Road up is not bad for a mountain road.
Cons (some of these are cons to me but may not be as important to you)
Neighbors are fairly close, does not have a remote cabin feel.
Fire pit is in front near driveway and right by other houses and cars.
House was quite small in terms of living/kitchen.
Guest house/game room was musty smelling.
Master is open you can hear everything throughout the house. Other bedroom is right by kitchen/living and you hear everything.
For the price I give 3 stars, but will say the house is well kept and communication is fantastic.

Our family of 5 and a little dog loved our stay at Cloud 9. Amazing view! Beds were so comfy. Great kitchen with many gadgets. Thank you for a clean outdoor griddle grill to cook yummy meals. The hot tub with a view was such a treat. Plenty of hot water and rain shower shower heads. Our teenagers lived staying on same property in their own smaller cabin that was all included in our rental. Very short drive to grocery store and amazing hiking options with waterfalls galore. Thank you to our hosts and housekeeper for a wonderful stay.

Where to begin? We debated on whether to stay in town or on the mountain. We may have regretted our choice. The ride up Yonah isn’t easy. We didn’t want to attempt in the dark which made us wrap up all our activities in town by 3-4 pm.
The good- The kitchen was fully stocked with nice, new appliances and gadgets. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Our kids enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub. The mattresses were very comfortable. The shower heads were new, modern and the water was hot. Lots of extra blankets for comfort too.
The bad- It’s tiny. There was no privacy (from our children). The “master” has a verrrry small bathroom and it’s a loft, open to the floor below. The queen bed was comfortable but small. The living room is cramped, there wasn’t enough seating for our family of five. The laundry room was leaking water and smelled very bad. We found the porch mostly unusable because of the crowded layout of furniture. It’s soooo cluttered with kitschy cabin decor that it became almost non-functional. Less is more sometimes.
We woke up on our last morning to no running water. Apparently there was an issue with the pump. The owner was gracious enough to comp our last night due to the water issue.
If you are vacationing without a family, it’s not a bad cabin at all. It was too small for our needs and the water issue was very unfortunate.

The property was comfortable for our family of six. Everyone had their own space and the beds were comfortable.

Definitely was a perfect stay.

Views were absolutely amazing. Cabin was comfortable, enjoyed the pool table. Host needs to have stools to get into bed, beds were very high. There were a few issues, either previous guests or cleaning crew left oversized load of linens in washer that needed to be separated so it could spin and dry. Coffee pot filter still had coffee grounds left in it and there were dirty dishes in the cabinets.

Incredible Mountain View
I showed a photo I took from the Cloud 9 deck to a native of nearby Dahlonega, GA, and even she was amazed.

Traveling with three kids under 13, spouse and senior citizen with health challenges. The cabin itself was a nice find! I would recommend handrails going up the stairs on the deck and inside the house fir safety. That was the only challenge we had. Otherwise, awesome stay!

The location is superb. Great for hiking and very close to Helen. The cabin is cozy and easy to find. The outdoor spaces are perfect. The cabin is easy to access even in a minivan. Downstairs bed is very firm but upstairs is comfy. We will certainly come back. We enjoyed Cleveland as much as Helen. Be sure to visit Tantrum Brewery and Clyde’s tavern.

cozy and comfy
wonderful last minute trip with family. cabin was cozy and well appointed with everything to get us thru a few days stay. close drive to helen and hot tub/pool table was a great bonus!
4.8
The view is definitely spectacular, but sleeping accommodations were severely lacking. The property lists 3 queen beds but there is only 1. The main floor bed and the guest cabin bed are full beds. (The one on the main floor is actually smaller than a standard full.) The guest cabin has no central air but has two window heat/cool units. It has a strong mildewy smell that was made worse by running the air units. I have asthma and could not spend much time in there. The other amenities of the property were delightful.
4.8
Loved our stay. The are was just what we wanted a quite mountain cabin with spectacular views. It was close enough to make trips in and out, but far enough out of the way to not be surrounded by crowds. Would absolutely stay again.

This property offered everything that was promised. Clean, cozy, comfortable, and beautiful views. Close to everything that you need, but far enough from it all to feel like a genuine escape to nature. Highly recommend.

Excellent property for a secluded, yet close get away.
Loved our stay. The are was just what we wanted a quite mountain cabin with spectacular views. It was close enough to make trips in and out, but far enough out of the way to not be surrounded by crowds. Would absolutely stay again.
