Located on Okaloosa Island, this third level unit is on the top floor of a quiet complex that sits directly on the beautiful white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. This beautiful beach is our backyard! You just can’t get any closer to the beach! As a smaller condominium complex with 27 units, the beach is much less crowded and we have our own private boardwalk. The unobstructed view of the sparkling emerald waters and the beach from our living room and balcony is spectacular! The brilliant colors of the sunrise and sunsets are captivating. The moonlit nights also display their own glistening beauty across the waters. The spacious living room with two sets of sliding glass doors that open to the balcony overlooking the beach includes a nice comfortable queen size sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and many extras for those choosing to eat in, and the dining area seats four. There is a washer/dryer in the unit for your convenience. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed with a new top notch Sealy mattress set, and a private half bath. The full bath is beautifully updated and located off of the hall. We have nice linens and towels, and our housekeeping service will have our non smoking condo clean and prepared especially for you! There is a reserved parking place for our guest, as well as self check in/keyless entry for your convenience. Our outdoor pool is equipped with bathrooms, lounge chairs, a grilling area, and picnic tables, located in front of our condo. The back of our condo faces the beach, and from the balcony is the gorgeous beach view. The beach service we provide for our guest includes 2 chairs and 1 umbrella, set up daily from Mar 1 through Oct 31. We have two beach chairs in the bedroom closet for our guest as well. Kayak/paddle board rentals are also available during this time. Please remember to bring your own beach towels!

*Our condo is a non smoking property. Smoking is not allowed inside the unit or on the balcony* Due to our outdoor stair entrance into the condo, we are not wheelchair accessible. Our complex does not have an elevator.

Beach life fun is all around us! Okaloosa Island has everything you need for a relaxing fun filled vacation. Dolphin shows at the Gulfarium, a walk on the boardwalk, or fishing off the pier are five minutes away. Golf, mini golf, water sports, parasailing, jet ski rental, dolphin cruises, etc., are all close by. Outlet shops at Silver Sands are just a short drive, and antique shops in downtown Fort Walton are there for leisure shopping. We are away from the traffic and crowds of busy Destin, but only 6 miles from all the activity Destin has to offer as well. Many delicious local seafood and steak restaurants are available. This is our 5th year staying and Island Sands and 3rd year staying in unit 308. We love how small the building is (not over crowded beaches) and that the unit comes with chair service as well as extra chairs in the closet (this is helpful bc sometimes the chair guys pack up before we are ready to go up). This unit is equipped with plenty of supplies to cook meals at the condo. It is very comfortable and we also love the extra half bathroom which is unusual for a one bedroom unit. We always have clear water, see lots of marine life, and enjoy our stay so much! Communication with the owners is always amazing which is very much appreciated.

The condo was extremely clean and decorated perfectly! We had everything we needed and loved the quiet condo on a less crowded stretch of beach! Owners are very easy to communicate with. Definitely a good place to stay.

Rent this unit!!!!!! Everything was perfect. View of ocean from the balcony was fabulous. Unit was just as pictured and described in the listing. Communication with owner was informative and noted everything we needed to know. Unit 308 has been maintained, taken care of and was clean and comfortable. We had the most the most magical time while staying at 308 Island Sands. Our condo was pristine, the view was gorgeous and we enjoyed plenty of sunshine, sand, and the pool! It was perfect. Thank you Valerie and Victor! Can't wait to go back!

The place is very nice and perfect location. Your away from all the destin conjestion. The owners care about your stay and want to make sure you have an experience you love and enjoy. The beach is just right outside your condo and short walk to the water. Very beautiful, we will be back.

From a couple days before check in all the way through check out, Valerie provided excellent communication complete with every detail we would need. The condo was perfectly stocked, very clean and well kept. There was a cute little gift basket stocked with essentials. Beach service was a major plus. We can’t say enough great things about our week here. We’ll definitely be looking to book again. Thanks again for sharing your little slice of paradise with us, Victor and Valerie!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Seamless from check in to check out. Valerie was sure to provide us with updates and happenings going on with the condo as well as local events on the island. The condo was spotless, the bed was comfy, and we got just what we came for...rest and relaxation! This condo is definitely one of our favorites and we look forward to returning one day! Location on the island is PERFECT. The unit had EVERYTHING! Closest to the beautiful beach we have ever had. The bed was PERFECT! The hosts should be very proud of their condo AND themselves. Somehow they even threw in a week of perfect weather AND topped it off with full moon rises over the GULF every night which we watched from the balcony and beach every night. A GREAT PLACE!!

An adorable gift basket was waiting for us with great essentials that came in handy. Communication and instructions were appreciated and eased any stress of the unknown. Everyone we met were friendly. It was nice leaving our chairs and umbrella at home since they were provided to us. I would recommend and we would revisit. Thank you Valerie and Victor.

We had an amazing week in this condo at Ft. Walton beach. The condo was beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. The views were so perfect! We loved it being a little "quieter" area, but still having close access to many wonderful restaurants & things to do. The best part was Victor & Valerie. They made us feel right at home, were so gracious and accomodating & made our week even better. It was a wonderful trip! We certainly hope to return very soon!

This is our second time staying at this property and we WILL be back! The condo is equipped with everything we needed for a week of rest and relaxation! The space was clean and accurately portrayed on the website. The view is gorgeous and the location is perfect - quiet and quaint but just a short drive to Destin for more "touristy" options. The hosts were so kind and easy to communicate with. We can't wait to return!

I have visited the Destin/Ft.Walton area for 40 years. This condo is by far the best ! The unit was very clean, decorated in a most inviting atmosphere, the location is perfect. It is a quiet and peaceful setting and the view of the ocean is spectacular. A short walk to the beach, very convenient. Working with the owners was seamless, very responsive. We will return yearly!!

This condo was beautiful, well decorated and very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and has everything you could possibly need. The little extras the owners provided was a welcome surprise. The bed was very comfortable. Gorgeous views from the balcony. It’s a perfect spot for your morning coffee. Another great perk is the beach service. It’s nice have 2 chairs and an umbrella everyday. The owners are wonderful! They checked on us to make sure we arrived safely and got checked in and to have a safe trip home. Communication with Valerie was easy and she responded quickly. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend this place to everyone we know. We can’t say enough nice things about this condo and the owners. The Condo was bright ,beautiful, clean, well decorated it was very well stocked. The kitchen has all you would need and many unexpected items. Everything in good condition. Very nice quality bath & hand towels. Wash cloths were nice as well even had black ones for make up removal. Bed was very plush and comfortable. Gorgeous views from balcony condo is on top floor of this 3 story building. So perfect for the best views. The owners go above and beyond to make sure your happy and well taken care. Their hospitality is unbeatable. They had several things you would not expect to find in a rental. Overall Great Place to stay location cannot be beat ! We will stay again! This condo was stunning! They had everything you could ever need! The beach is right out your back door! Breath taking views! The owners were absolutely amazing! You will not be disappointed in this condo! It’s also very easy to get to all the restaurants and shopping! I would rate this place a 5 out of 5! The mattress was so comfortable too!!!

We were in DESPERATE need for rest! Our vacation consisted of REST on the beach. We LOVED the beach front view from the deck! Victor and Valerie provided a BEAUTIFUL beach home and God provided a beautiful beach! The condo is so beautiful and clean! Valerie is AMAZING with her communication with her guests! We have been to many beaches but this was our first time to Fort Walton. It is now our FOREVER vacation get away but it would NOT be the same unless we stayed at Valerie and Victor's beautiful beach condo! We plan to return year after year!

We are looking forward to completion of improvements to Island Sands which will make the entire complex better. The unit is clean, nicely decorated, and has features and supplies we would not expect. My favorites were the multi-charger, the shower squeegee, and the folding stepstool. Even being “boarded in” due to construction, we could still easily get to the beach to walk and view the sunrise/sunset. Once the decks are completed - WOW! Happy days are coming and the sky will be the limit.

We found this property online and it was a no-brainer. It’s gorgeous, and when the doors are open, you can hear the waves at all times in every room. The accommodations are the best I’ve had anywhere else (there are extra blankets and pillows!!! One of my biggest pet peeves is places don’t have enough pillows and blankets) The place is so beachy without losing the comfort of a home. It’s so clean. It’s small without being isolated. Now, the owners are one-in-a-million. They checked on us to make sure we got check-in procedures, that we got there safely, and to tell us to have a safe trip home. Something we will cherish forever, is a personal gift they had made for us in honor of being on our honeymoon with a heartfelt card.
