Residing just outside of Columbia Falls and on the east side of the Flathead River, the River View Retreat is ideally located within minutes driving distance (16.5 Miles) to the West entrance of Glacier National Park, the ever popular resort town of Whitefish and (8.5 miles) Glacier Park International Airport (FCA). Sitting on 1 acre with a gratuitous back yard and over 100 feet of river front this property has ample room for friends and family. The home features a 2,300 square foot ranch floor plan with generous kitchen and great room, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and rear attached deck which can be accessed from the Primary bedroom and the kitchen. Two main bedrooms furnish king beds and queens are furnished in the additional bedrooms. Enjoy the river view from a vaulted ceiling great room accentuated by a multitude of picture windows. Feel right at home with a fully functional kitchen providing abundant cabinet and counter space for storage and preparations. An island, a table with seating for eight and a patio door with a view of the Flathead River provides a fine setting for entertaining. Other amenities include washer and dryer, gas grill and a two car garage.

With snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, cross-country skiing, ice fishing and more, there's something for everyone who wants to play in the snow. The snow can arrive as early as October and can linger through May. Montana offers one of the longest winter season in the lower 48 states to skate, schuss, glide and soar.

What a wonderful house!! We were a family of 7 and one baby. First time to Glacier and Jeff and Kelly’s place was perfect. The location worked out well for going to the park, town and Flat Head Lake. The home kitchen was well equipped, comfy beds and the fire pit near the river made for a perfect evening at the end of the day. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful property! The house was perfect for our family. Very comfortable and large with a deck on the back. The large backyard was adjacent to the Flathead River. We ate on the deck, played frisbee in the backyard and threw rocks in the river. Easy access to GNP. Centrally located!

This property is a perfect location for visiting Glacier went to Lake McDonald, Going Sun Road, Two Medicine, Many Glacier, St Mary’s. The amenities are awesome, everything you need when staying away from home. Would highly recommend.

This was only our 2nd stay at a rental property and the experience was excellent. The property was so clean and uncluttered and decorated so nicely. It was so conducive for relaxation after busy days hiking and exploring Glacier. The layout was perfect for our two families. The great room was wonderful for relaxing and recapping the day! We had 2 families stay here (total of 7 people). The location worked out well for us to go to Glacier National Park during the day. Table was large enough for all of us to eat together. The owner had let us know ahead of time that we would need road reservations to get into the park, that information was very helpful since the reservations were all gone within the first half hour (maybe even first 10 minutes) after they opened up a few months ahead of the reservation time.

First time any of us visited Glacier NP. Ages ranged from 6 to 75. We all had a great time hiking, boat rides, rafting, horseback riding, etc. The accommodations met all our needs, even coolers and ice blocks we could use. It was the best equipped rental any of us had every stayed at. We loved that we could park our two cars in the garage. We typically would head to the park before sunrise and this made loading up everything we needed for the day much easier.

This was a great property; spacious house with a large backyard, and a firepit next to the river. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms. About 20 minutes to the west entrance of Glacier National Park and close to gas, food, and everything we needed. We had a great time, and the host promptly texted back when I had questions. We hope to be back some day. Thank you!

This was the perfect location for our group. Easy access to GNP, airport, Kalispell, Big Fork, and Whitefish. The house was very roomy and had a great deck and lawn. We enjoyed watching the deer in the evening. And the sound of the river was so relaxing.

Renting from Kelly was amazing. She was very responsive every time I emailed her. The house and property were gorgeous. Exceptionally clean. She had everything there for our convenience. As a base for our GNP adventure, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home for a week. All 3 couples agreed that it was perfect and we’d rent it again if we ever get to Montana again.

Great place to stay to visit Glacier Natl Park--- only 15 miles from the Western entrance. Plenty of rooms/space for 8 people and the amenities of the home were superb. Located on Flathead River and very easy to get to the house. Jeff and Kelly are great hosts to answer any querstions you may have.

We are a group of friends that take a motorcycle trip every year. This year we chose Glacier and stayed at this property. We loved it! The accommodations are awesome and it it located it in a great area with close distance to all the sites around GNP.

This home was a great location super comfy great for a family vacation and the house layout worked out great for having an infant on the vacation. Large kitchen that sat 8 for family dinners together. The hosts were helpful prior to our arrival when I had a question. The hosts have things very clearly marked and had binders that answered questions and offered suggestions for things in the area. I would definitely recommend this property .

Very well stocked kitchen that is organized and clean. Bedrooms are far enough away that each have there own “space”. Great yard with wonderful and relaxing view of the river. Huge family room this large windows to watch the eagle, swans, geese and ducks flying down the river in the morning. Very peaceful spot!

Property was spacious and clean as advertised with a lovely view of the river. Large spacious kitchen stocked with pots and pans made cooking fun and easy. The coffee maker was even prepped with a couple of coffee pods! Great location, close to Columbia Falls and Whitefish.

It was beautiful. The house and property were everything we expected based on the photos and description on VRBO. The owners were prompt in answering questions. Lots of space. It’s easy for 8 people to congregate around the table, in the great room or on the deck. We had such a good time everyone says they want to do it again. Being close to the airport and the National Park is a real plus.
