We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness & amenities provided at this Vrbo. The hosts went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable- loved the decor, personal touches & comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Our stay at this amazing property was the perfect birthday getaway! Clean comfortable and very relaxing. Our hosts were wonderful and very attentive when we needed them to be otherwise they let us have our own privacy and we were very relaxed.
The views from the three large windows were wonderful. The weather was ever changing and afforded dynamic views at times which made it most enjoyable.
The kitchen was stacked with every utensil you could imagine. Clean and well organized.
Everything was needed as a pin. And our host were very gracious. Will return on our next trip to South Carolina. Could not think of a better place to stay!

Our room was exactly as described. View was beautiful and very peaceful. We weren't impressed with Murrells. The only thing in the area was restaurants, no coffee shops or little shops. Huntington SP was amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful spot in Murrell’s Inlet. Good size comfortable apt tastefully decorated with a coastal, beachy theme. Kitchen well equipped and the bathroom was spacious and lovely. Our hosts (Gail & Gerry) included some nice extras which was a pleasant surprise, and they were so nice and accommodating. But it’s the incredible view out of the large windows overlooking the marsh inlet with the ocean in the background that was superb! Also a beautiful yard to relax in with comfortable cushioned chairs, a fire pit and hammock. Kayaks and bikes also available, which unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use.
Perfect getaway and lots to do in area. Don’t miss Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach, which owners have a pass to use. Nice bike trail to beach also. Myrtle Beach nearby too. Great area, won’t be disappointed.

This was our second stay at this property, and I am pleased to say that nothing has changed, which in this instance is great news! The accommodations are still perfect for us, and the view across the marsh to the northern portion of Huntington Beach State Park is still beautiful. And Gail and Gerard are still wonderful hosts! All was perfect. We still haven't taken out the kayak yet, but that gives us incentive to return for a third trip!

Property was as pictured. Hostess was gracious. View of salt marsh from main room was good. Swivel rocker recliners were a plus. We took the tandem kayak out and had a great paddle.
Both K-cup and drip coffee makers with several K-cups and drip coffee provided. Small welcome snack and water too. Kitchen supplies were adequate (only four forks, 3 bowls).
Passes to nearby Huntington State Park were a bonus that we took advantage of for several visits. Brookgreen Gardens nearby is a must see for art lovers and even for non-art lovers like me. A ticket (approx. $20/pp) is good for an entire week.
Listing implies on-site laundry facilities however there are none.

Our stay was exceptional. The accommodations were perfect and larger than expected. The views were 100% spectacular and the location was close to everything (food, entertainment, trails, water). We took advantage of the fire pit, hammocks, rockers, kayaks, and the views! Our hosts, Gail and Jerry, were lovely and provided the right amount of southern hospitality to make us feel welcomed. We would not have changed a thing.

The accommodation was in a great location. Huntington State park was a short drive. Many restaurants and a brewery nearby and the ones we went to were excellent. Our only complaint was there was a sign at the front door asking you to remove your shoes, and we did. The issue was the floor in the apartment was filthy. Maybe it’s just me but if I remove my shoes as requested I expect the floor would be clean. Everything else was good

This was our second stay here. We were just here in March and came back for another visit in July.
Love the location and kayaking on the marsh.
The place is just as pretty as the pictures, and the hosts were very nice.

This is one of those rare places that is so perfect you really don't want to share. We WILL be back!
I spent several hours one afternoon lying in a hammock under a shade tree with a good breeze blowing in from the inlet. Im not sure life gets any better than that.

My friend and I loved Murrells Inlet and this sweet apartment. It was the perfect location for much needed rest and relaxation. The owners (and owners sister) were all super friendly and fun to talk to about their family history on the inlet. We especially loved the hammocks and sunrises and sunsets over the marsh. Definitely a trip worth remembering.

We had the most beautiful, peaceful view from the room and from the backyard. Loved sitting at the fire pit and watching birds and fishing boats. Hosts were super helpful with suggestions and info on area.

We stayed with Gail and Gerry for 4 nights in March of 2023. Gail and Gerry were very helpful and great hosts. They have a vast history on knowledge to share regarding Murrells inlet and the surrounding areas and were very helpful in directing us on the best places to visit and activities to attend during our stay. We especially enjoyed enjoying a glass of wine and grilling local fresh seafood. We will definitely stay here again.

The house was every bit as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures. The view of the sunrise over the inlet was amazing. We had our coffee every morning and watched the sunrise.
Everything was very clean and there were nice little touches like music, and robes, and chocolates.
We really enjoyed using the tandem kayak to explore the marsh and do some fishing. We caught an 18" long, 5 lb Black Drum, which we released. That was great.
The place is bigger than it looked in the pictures. There is a bed by the marsh view, but we didn't realize there is another bed in a separate bedroom.
There is a terrific restaurant almost right next door, and a brew pub a short walk down the street, and the MarshWalk restaurant area.
The beach at the state park is nearby, and it is huge. We used the passes from Gerry and Gail for free access to the park. We rode there on our bikes.
We had a great time at this property and would definitely consider staying there again. We had a relaxing, terrific time.

What a peaceful retreat! This place was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The house has everything you will need and the personal touches (soft music playing upon arrival, robes & chocolates on the bed, light snacks) made us feel extremely welcomed. As a bonus, the view from the property overlooking the marsh is spectacular. What a great place to rest and relax. Thank you Gail & Gerry!

I was unable to make my trip but my best friend and his girl still went. They absolutely loved everything about this place especially the owners. Had many of phone calls, pictures and conversations about the residence and the owners. Nothing short of amazing people and place. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Relax and Unwind
My 17 year old son and myself stayed here. We traveled in from Nebraska for a summer vacation along the coast. The location was perfect. We spent some time at Huntington Beach State Park and hung out on the beach. The hosts had park passes for both car and bicycles. We enjoyed an evening at the marshwalk,, had dinner and walked along the boardwalk listening to a variety of live music. I can't say enough about the room and breathtaking views. Words couldn't do it justice. It was the perfect place to escape from reality, relax and unwind. We did just that in the hammocks on te property.

Couldn’t have been better!
Great view, excellent furnishing, super location, and everything we were looking for on this trip. We didn’t take advantage of all the amenities as we had family staying at the State Park, but they were more then available as advertised. Very cool to learn about Gail’s family (Morse) history with Murrells Inlet. Overall we couldn’t be more satisfied and will be back. Jerry & Lisa

It definitely is a Million Dollar View of a beautiful marsh and the suite on the third floor is very welcoming and spacious! When we walked in....we found classical music welcoming us and a lovely fully furnished open space area!! The kitchen is really fully equipped with whatever you need to prepare any meals...if you so choose!!! The area is very private and quite!! The owners are very helpful and pleasant and basically they give you all the space that you might need!! Now, due strictly to our age and physical conditions, going up and down the stairs was a little challenging BUT nothing that it would spoil our stay!! In a nutshell...just GO!! Thank you Gail and Gerald!! ☺

Oh what a treat!
Staying at Gail and Gerry's fabulous hide away was glorious. From the moment we arrived we felt the work tension slip away and the peace and serenity of the property engulf us. We enjoyed time on the inlet/marsh and then took advantage of the Huntington State park passes and spend a great day on the very quiet beach. Brookgreen Gardens was the highlight of our trip and is well worth a visit. We will be back!

Murrells Inlet Paradise
These hosts are five star, if there were 10 Stars I would gladly rate it as a 10! Our third floor apartment was beautifully decorated, and had so many thoughtful touches, and was sparkly clean. The view was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, plenty of towels, soap, some snacks, coffee, chocolates, everything you need to have a very comfortable stay. Gail and Gerry and their sister-in-law are kind and welcoming, and very easily reached for any questions. The bicycles were wonderful for a morning bike ride to the state park and passes to the park were provided. Their yard has a beautiful view and was wonderful for an afternoon of napping, sunning, or reading. Would highly recommend these hosts and property, and hope to return again!

Lovely place
We stayed here for 3 nights. The view of the marsh is just like in the picture; it’s beautiful especially in the morning and at sunset. The upstairs apartment is immaculate, very well cared for, and well equipped. There are lots of little special treats when you arrive. Gail and Gerry are very responsive hosts. Close to Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington State Park and to restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

A great getaway!
The property backs up on the salt marsh and looks across the marsh at Huntington Beach State Park, giving the accommodations a wonderful view from three large windows. The apartment is an open-floor plan with a full kitchen, which is essential for us given dietary restrictions as older adults.
The Sullivans have kayaks and bicycles available for guests, but we did not have the time to take advantage of them (that's for next time). What was very nice were the car and bike passes to the state park, which was the focus of our visit and is less than a five-minute drive away. We know the area pretty well, so we enjoyed the central location of the property in Murrells Inlet. I am sure we will return, and this time take advantage of the kayaks!

Beautiful view
Loved looking across the marsh, even on a rainy day it was a pleasure to bird watch. I brought kitchen supplies but only used my plastic containers for leftovers. The kitchen had all the necessary cooking tools and nice stainless steel pans. The steps were the only drawback as my group was all over 65. Luckily no one was too disabled and I helped carry up extra luggage. The owners were welcoming and very responsive to my needs. Would love to stay here again.

View as promised!
We loved Murrell's Inlet, and this location! View from the room was as promised, with two comfy recliners perfectly positioned to enjoy the windows and the view. Kitchen was adequately equipped, although there were so many great restaurants nearby that we didn't cook as much as we planned! Bathroom was down the hall, which was awkward until we found it! Was not a problem and was perfectly private. Hosts were frinedly, available, and welcoming. Lovely extra touches made this stay special. We hope to return!

Great location & view
Location was good for us. Quieter location than being farther North on US17. Place was clean and stocked with all items required for our stay. Nice view of the marsh. Close to restaurants, Huntington Beach State Park, and Brookgreen Gardens

Best view ever!
This is an amazing property, with a fabulous view of Murrells Inlet, unblemished by even a single house of other structure. Sunrises were magical. Also, it is walking distance (or biking) to Huntington Beach State Park, which has a beautiful beach (no houses or high-rises) and hiking trails. The owners provided us with bikes and park passes and we used them a lot. Also closeby was Brookgreen Gardens, a must-see sculpture garden with historical properties and an unusual zoo. We were close to the Marshwalk, restaurants and even not far from Charleston. We thoroughly recommend this property and the hosts, Gail and Gerry, were extremely kind and accommodating. We'll try to come back soon!

10 Star Stay!
The hosts AND the accommodations far exceeded my expectations! Pictures do not do this place justice. The room was so serene and beautiful that when I unlocked the door and stepped inside, my eyes welled up with tears and I got little chills down my body! The extras like bikes, kayaks and park passes were wonderful additions. If you are considering a stay at the Inlet, stay with Gail and Gerry and you will not be disappointed! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
