Excellent location and beautiful

The house was clean and comfortable, just as described in listing. The location to everything was lovely. The only negative comment I would mention is that there is an odd smell in the kitchen/bathroom. It smells as though there may be mold or water damage. When we arrived windows were open and fans were on. We did not feel comfortable sleeping with windows open. There were quite a few spiders in the kitchen, so if you are scared of spiders- just a heads up. (To be expected in the woods?)

This was our third stay at this property. It is immaculately clean, well furnished and well stocked. The lake views are stunning. It is an easy walk to the restaurants and the beach. Hiking trails start behind the house. Denise is so easy to work with and has pretty much thought of everything. We will be back for a 4th stay.
5.0
This house was perfect! The location was ideal! You could walk right down to the beach area. It was comfortable and quiet. I would recommend this to families with older children as the street did not have sidewalks and there was a small bit of traffic as they cut through. But my teens were okay!
5.0
Cute cabin, in a nice location with lake views. It was cozy and accommodating. My only issue was that it had a strong pungent musky smell inside the whole house that does not go away . We tried to air out the rooms but the smell lingers. I recommend maybe having air fresheners or some kind of spraying of the furniture. I think the smell comes from the humidity. Also, I saw a spider in the bathroom which is expected since its in a forest type area. However maybe having the cabin sprayed for bugs more often would be ideal. Other than that it was pleasant.

Perfect cabin getaway but close by to lots of activities!

Nice home with lake views and sledding right behind the house

The cabin is warm and cozy. It is a quiet neighborhood, and a walkable a distance to the Kings Beach area.
The Cabin was very clean, and well equipped - couldn’t ask for more.
We hope to stay again.

This was a great space for the two of us, and it was an easy ride to Northstar. We'd recommend this cabin, and would stay here again.

This property was the perfect size for our family of 2 and could have comfortably accommodated a few more guests. We had everything we could need in our cozy space with a view of the lake and trees! An extra big shoutout because the property had unscented detergent. My fiancé has sensitive skin so we’re accustomed to bringing our own bedding and towels. This was a huge and unexpected bonus for us! We would absolutely stay again!

This cabin is petite and unassuming, but warm and cozy, comfortable, thoughtfully provisioned, and well-situated near King's Beach with great lake views. We enjoyed the books, games, and sleds they provided and generally had a great stay.

It was not ur family’s first time in Tahoe and the cabin was amazing. We look forward to staying there in the future.

First time to Lake Tahoe and we will definitely be back. This cabin has all the amenities you could ever need. We took advantage of the Roku, games, beach chairs and umbrella. Very clean place with detailed instructions. Communication with Denise was very easy. Already planning our next trip to Tahoe.

Clean and cozy. Love the woods for walking/hiking in back. Very quiet. Loved looking at all the stars at night.
I am short so my husband had to go out and buy stool so that I could get onto bed. We have left at cabin for other “shorties.”
Highly recommend.

Everything about our stay was awesome. From the location to the view and all the amenities in this sweet traditional cabin, we were delighted. Highly recommend. A big thank you to the hosts.

Really great place to stay, great value, great views. Easy walk into town and beach. Place was homey, comfortable, clean and cozy. Conveniently located but quiet as well. Didn’t see any bears, but had a beautiful view of the lake!

My family and I had a wonderful time here at the cabin. We went hiking and shopping of course. This was another great vacation we also got to see a bear which was so cool. The kids loved being here we all did not want to leave.

This property remains a favorite. As before, the cabin is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, adjacent to the national forest, and a short distance from lake. The lake view from a spacious deck is special. King's Beach had all the amenities you would hope for, with an excellent free beach, many dining choices, and myriad recreational activities for all ages. The host delivers everything promised plus. Bud and Janice, AmarilloTx.

We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin in Kings Beach to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. We had an issue with a few lights not working, and Denise was very quick to respond to help. The place was very clean and in a good, quiet location. We especially enjoyed spending time on the nice deck.

Fabulous. It really was the perfect place to stay while celebrating our 40th anniversary. We have stayed in many vrbos from Maine to Hawaii & this was one of the very best. Everything was great--clear, helpful communication, the place was immaculately clean, very comfortable (such warm, fuzzy sheets!!), well stocked, everything worked, great location. Kings Beach is a terrific location for exploring/enjoying all that Lake Tahoe has to offer & this cabin was on a quiet residential street, a 20 +min walk to the beach & restaurants, also a Safeway w/in walking distance. It's up a hill so you get lovely views of the lake & you wake up to the sun rising over the forest on the hill behind the house. We totally loved our stay here & hope to return next time we're in the area.

Felt like staying at a friend’s place. Kitchen was well equipped, furnishings and linens were great. Layout is good for a family or friends, good common area, one br with full privacy and the other tucked away upstairs.

My kids and I had a fabulous time at the cutest little cabin. It was perfect for us to go out and sled then come back in to relax. No lugging kids around to find somewhere to play. It was all right there. We will definitely be back next year! Thank you

Very cozy and relaxing. Will visit again. Great communication with the owner.

Cabin was super cozy and clean. Fire was going when we got there and it felt so welcoming. Loved having access to the snow right outside the door. Kids had a blast sledding on the hills. View of the lake was beautiful. Cozy warm beds and plenty of room for our family. Lots of games to play. Would definitely stay here again.
5.0
We had an amazing time and the cabin and location was perfect for what we were trying to accomplish. Less than a mile from the lake, food, and snow fun. The owners were very responsive and allowed us a little extra time to enjoy our vacation which was very much appreciated. Thank you so much for the experience

This smallish cabin delivers big fun. The cabin is a few blocks up the hill from Kings Beach. Very quiet neighborhood in the trees. Filtered view of the lake. The kitchen is well equipped with everything but a dishwasher. The owner has extensive instructions on how to work everything and take care of the cabin. Nice king bed in downstairs and queen upstairs. Short drive to Northstar. We are a couple so place was plenty big for us. Exceptionally clean on arrival. Owner seems to have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.

Just like all of the other reviews said, this place is well maintained and well stocked. Seemed a lot bigger than it was. Great view and a few blocks from town. We will definitely want to rent this one again.

Our family enjoyed our stay, we loved the easy access to outdoors for a bit of snow time, the view of the lake every morning, the warm bedding and comfortable beds. Thank you for having us!
5.0
It is obvious that great care has been put into this property....
Not only was it spotless but it had quality kitchenware as well as plenty of spices and condiments. There were wall hooks everywhere to hang items for quick access as well as top-notch wifi.
The king bed was extremely comfortable (we didn't use any of the upstairs bedrooms) and we spent plenty of time on the deck (in the rocker for two!) drinking coffee and taking in the gorgeous view. The bathrooms were small but efficient.
We couldn't get the DVD player to power up but enjoyed the rest of the entertainment system.
The only drawback was that there wasn't much room (other than the fridge) to store the food we brought along.
I want to be sure to give a shout-out to our host for being extremely responsive at all times. As the cherry on top, she reached out to us the day before our initial reservation offering to postpone our stay due to heavy smoke in the area due to the Mosquito fire. We are very thankful for this generous offer, as we enjoyed crystal-clear skies for our entire stay.
We prefer the north side of the lake to the south so it was quite relaxing and regenerative. Highly recommend visiting this property!

Loved the place, comfortable and quiet. Had everything we needed, and more than enough space for the two of us.

We thought this was an ideal place to stay for our first visit to Lake Tahoe. The cabin was nestled in pine trees up a street about a half-mile from the main street of King's Beach. You could sit on the porch and get a peak of the Lake or watch the birds and chipmunks. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The cabin itself was very comfortable, clean and well furnished. The king-sized bed in the master suite was excellent as well as the bed upstairs . The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook meals. The owner responded to questions immediately and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Everything went very smooth. Quiet spot boring National Forest with lots of trails right there! North Tahoe is much better than south. South is to populated for me!

Charming Cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. This cabin is in a great location, walking distance to Kings Beach and many restaurants. What makes this cabin so special is the view of the lake. We definitely hope to be back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this charming Tahoe cabin. It has that classic feel while also being nicely upgraded, very thoughtfully appointed and well-stocked. The view of the lake was more expansive than expected. We hope to stay here again.
