About this cottage rental

Wisteria Cottage is self-contained, one-bedroom accommodation surrounded by bush and birdsong, minutes from the stunning and world famous south-west coastline of Western Australia in the heart of the Margaret River wine region.
Nestled in Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park between the picturesque town of Augusta and scenic Hamlin Bay on 13 acres, Wisteria Cottage is ideal for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone wanting a private, peaceful escape to relax and unwind.
Wisteria Cottage has all the comforts of home including spacious living areas, large flat-screen TV, DVD player, comfy lounge , wood fire and large windows overlooking lawn and trees. A lovely outdoor area with gas BBQ, perfect for summer evenings and a cascade of purple wisteria in spring and summer. A perfect spot to watch the many bush birds including blue wrens, white and red breasts, all manor of parrots and the unique kookaburras.
There is a quiet and luxurious bedroom with comfy queen size bed, adjacent modern bathroom with a bath and laundry with washing machine and dryer.

Wisteria Cottage is located on Caves Road which is a tourist destination hotspot. We are across the road from beautiful Jewel Cave and not far from all the other caves that the region has to offer.
A short drive down the road is a beautiful beach called Cosy Corner and if you wish to see the stingrays in the water then just a bit further is the beautiful Hamelin Bay.
In the winter months we have wonderful experience of having the Whales visit and put on charismatic displays for those wishing to book a charter to watch.
Leeuwin Lighthouse is amongst another attraction that is a short drive away from Wisteria Cottage.
Hamelin Bay Wines is also a short drive just off the Brockman Highway. Watershed and Leeuwin estate Wineries are not too far away either.
An abundance of beautiful little cafes such as Boranup Cafe which has the best breakfasts I have tasted are also within short drives of Wisteria Cottage.

Wisteria Cottage is a comfortable, affordable place for you to relax amongst the serenity while you plan your next day touring our beautiful region.

this place was so special and we loved our time staying here!! Bev was so amazing (both in communicating with us and baking us the most amazing bread fresh when we arrived) and we loved the location of the farm: convenient for errands but still private and serene. the place had everything you could want and we would not hesitate to book again! the only bad bit was leaving the adorable dogs behind!!!!

What a lovely place to stay! And the unexpected extras made it so much better and special!! On our way we received a message from Bev checking to see what time we might be checking in. On finding out we wouldn’t be there until 4:00 pm, I received a reply from Bev saying that since it’s getting cooler, she’d go and light the fire for us. So we were welcomed into a lovely warm cottage with the fire place lit, a gigantic loaf of delicious, fresh bread with a nice, sharp bread knife & real butter, waiting to be slathered onto a nice thick slice of soft bread with a fabulously crunchy crust! Also in a basket were condiments to add to the bread, delicious Dark chocolate and a bottle of an amazing Shiraz to enjoy while sitting in peace out the back, listening to birdsong or conversing with one of the friendly canine characters that are lucky enough to include Wisteria Cottage in their home range. But that wasn’t all. We found fresh eggs from the farm chickens in the fridge that we were able to enjoy for breakfast during our 2 day stay. We would definitely recommend Wisteria Cottage as a fabulous country retreat. Thank you Bev for letting us stay in the peaceful and comfortable Wisteria Cottage. Rauno & Heidi
