This is our second time staying in this beautiful cottage. It has everything you need for a comfortable self catering stay. The cottage is quiet, comfortable and very clean.

Lovely location. Neat and tidy. Well equipped kitchen. Convenient parking. Definitely worth having a copy of the directions handy for quick reference -they were accurate and made for a smooth arrival.

We found the cottage extremely comfortable, well presented and the perfect location for exploring the region. The kitchen was one of (if not the most) well equipped kitchens we have ever had in an accommodation - it is clear they care for their cottage. We cannot think of a thing to fault!
Kim is also a fantastic host! My wife has an allergy which if exposed can lead to anaphylaxis (she requires an epi-pen), along with being Coeliac - we are always careful when picking accommodations - from the moment Kim saw on the booking us mention this she immediately put us at ease! She even went as far as to message us on the day of check-in letting us know she had double checked the accommodation for us. She also went as far as to leave us some snacks which where completely safe for my wife! :) Little things like that are what takes somebody from "just a host" to an "amazing host"!
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family or friends if we hear they are heading towards your region or return ourselves if we are heading that way :)
Thank you again Kim & Eddie :) x
Nothing to fault :)

Lovely cottage that is cosy, comfortable snd well appointed.
Nothing to dislike other than the potholes on the track leading to the accommodation.

The welcome pack was a lovely thought.
Very clean, and had everything that was needed to make our stay home from home.

Very clean and well equipped.
A lovely cake left for us which was appreciated by us. We booked for a couple of nights as we were going to a wedding locally. This was ideal accommodation. Better than booking an hotel as it gave more flexibilty
The stairs are quite steep, so care needs to be taken. We struggled with the key fob for the electric gate but eventually sorted it out

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and a real home from home. The facilities are excellent, the cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed to make us feel at home for our stay. Thank you so much for for the chocolate cake and essentials waiting for us on our arrival. The owners were very accommodating and helpful with my requests. Easy self check in.
My daughter loved having the garden to play in after her days at her summer school.
Good location, very peaceful and quiet but close enough to Nottingham and attractions such as Newstead Abbey (lovely place, well worth a visit).
We would definitely stay again, highly recommend!
Thank you
We loved it all

Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Location fine for the event we came for. Lovely unusual apartment, could actually live there. Would highly recommend. Nice part of the country. Appreciated the cake and milk and bread left for us.

clean and well presented
farm security gate restricted access preventing even pedestrian egress, only one key available meaning it was impossible to split up to complete daily tasks

Well equipped and very comfortable. Warm with adequate heating if required. Good access for Nottingham and Sherwood forest .

Quiet, comfortable, private.

Could do with a couple of stepping stones from car parking area to gate to avoid walking on muddy ground in wet weather. A minor point!

Very clean and very comfortable. On a working farm but peaceful and we slept well every night.
Kim left supplies of bread, milk, tea & coffee etc which was much appreciated. she also left some fresh flowers and a cake which were a nice touch.
would definitely recommend and would definitely return ☺️

The property is well situated for us as our daughter, who we were visiting, lives less than 5 minutes away. It is set back from the road so very quiet and it is very well equipped with everything we needed and more. The cleanliness was exemplary, and we therefore felt very safe. We stayed at the end of December so unsurprisingly the weather was cold and damp outside but the heating system is very efficient and controllable so we were never cold.
Wasn't really anything but if I was to really nit-pick, the shower is fairly basic and whilst it maintained a good steady temperature and was sufficient for our needs, it may be able to be improved upon with not much work. Having said this please don't let that put you off if your thinking of coming to stay here, We had a great time!

Beautiful, rustic charm. Comfortably furnished.
Comfortable bed.
The shower needs replacing - very narrow, low pressure and better to have a door than a shower curtain.

Somewhere to walk from the accommodation would have been perfect

This is a very well equipped apartment in a pleasant, quiet rural location. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds and sofas were very comfortable. The owners kindly left us milk and bread plus a lovely cake which we much enjoyed.
A nice place to stay.
