About this house rental

The Beach is just an 8 minute bike ride away or drive to designated beach parking in just a minute or two. Access to 5 Resort Golf Courses and tennis. This gorgeous home is situated on a beautiful natural lot that is embraced by a serene lagoon and mature oaks, magnolia, cedar, and palm trees. Out back, the deck and in-deck saltwater pool enjoy unobstructed lagoon views and self-cleaning, the pool can be enjoyed nine months out of the year. A custom-built mahogany door with cut glass arch and side lights welcomes you into the front foyer with direct sight lines through the living room to the deck, pool, and lagoon.

The spacious living room features hardwood flooring, a gas fireplace, tray ceiling, and Anderson 4-panel wood accent doors that drink in lots of natural light and gorgeous views.

The kitchen is open to the breakfast room, family room, and sunroom. Complete with granite countertops, ceramic beadboard backsplash, cherry and glass-front cabinetry, and high-end appliances, including a Thermador gas cooktop with counter griddle, Rohl pot filler, and ceiling-mount ventilator, the space is both delightful and functional.

A formal dining room off the entry foyer enjoys serene views and seats eight comfortably.

The sunroom can be enjoyed year-round and features a vaulted stained planked ceiling, skylights, and oversized windows and sliding doors.

Just off the kitchen and sunroom, a sizeable family room with brick surround fireplace and towering planked ceiling and custom built-in offers a comfortable, lagoon-side room to relax and enjoy a family gathering, game night, or movie.

The first floor master serves as a luxurious retreat. Washed in a soothing coastal palette, the master features plush carpeting, crown molding, picture windows, and large sliding glass doors that open to the pool. The light-filled private bathroom offers a vaulted ceiling with skylights, frameless walk-in shower, and large garden tub.

Two additional en suite bedrooms offer a king sized bed and every comfort. Plus a FROG (family room over garage) is a great gather space with one king bed and 2 twins, plus a sitting area with a flat screen TV.

A pack n play as well as high chair are available upon request.

Additional features include: a re-tiled laundry room with cabinets; two-car garage with Swiss trax flooring and dehumidifier; new pebbled concrete driveway; replaced 4-Zone HVAC units; BL#010771-06-2018

We will accept credit card payments up to $750, beyond that we will charge a 3% surcharge. We also accept payments through Zelle. 3 Master bedrooms and Frog room sleeps 4 (King bed and 2 singles) Pool can be heated for an additional fee.

Awesome space for a larger group, plenty of space and privacy. Beautiful pool and convenient to beach. Quite clean. However, several things in listing weren’t accurate — working waterfall, access to car garage, mosquito misters. And be prepared for notes with instructions all over the house, with follow up texts / calls from owner.

We have stayed at Kiawah for a number of years. We enjoy running glow in the dark and the half marathon. This is the best location we’ve had. And the property was fully stocked with everything we could want. We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious with many areas to spread out into. The kitchen is large and had everything we needed for preparing and serving meals and refreshments. The setting is quiet and private with lovely water views and plenty of nature to observe. The short drive to the beach made it perfect for the family gathering we had there. Everything we needed to purchase was easy to find at nearby Freshfield's Village.

Home is extremely well equipped and nicely decorated. Beach gear, towels, etc are provided. Kitchen is well stocked and beds are great. Layout of the home was perfect for our group of teen girls & adults.Great places to gather and still have some privacy.The homeowner , Tom, does an excellent job of making recommendations and ensuring an excellent stay.

The house was clean and ideal for an extended family week on Kiawah. The location is excellent in mid-island and the kitchen was recently renovated. The owner has a high chair and Pack 'n Play for babies. He was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay.

My family stayed for 4 nights in this spacious, gorgeous house with pool right outside the sliding doors. Amazing location, scenery beautiful, kids room was absolutely PERFECT for the 4 Grandchildren. I will be back !!!! LOVED THIS PLACE!!!! House had EVERYTHING we needed including beach chairs and towels :)

Absolutely wonderful accommodations on Kiawah. We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary with family and everyone enjoyed golf, the beach, the pool...everything. Rarely do I give 5-star ratings or take the time to provide a review. The house is lovely with a lot of attention to detail. Plenty of space to have multiple people helping in the kitchen. Lots of various sitting rooms to enjoy time together or by yourself. We all loved sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife and taking a swim in the pool. The owner is excellent with communication. I have no hesitation in recommending this location for your vacation stay.

We came here for a family vacation at the beginning of summer. Tom's home was clean and updated. Plenty of room to sleep all the guests. One of the few VRBOs that I've been to where in-person exceeded pictures. Pool was clean too, which I always appreciate. The open concept first floor was great for games and hanging out in the evenings or after golf. Would recommend and return for future vacations.

Perfect home base for race weekend

This past weekend my girlfriends and I ran the Kiawah marathon and this house was a perfect homemade for us! The house has 4 king beds so none of the couples were stuck in a small bed and the kitchen was perfect for cooking a few meals in. The house was even located on the race route so our husbands/boyfriends were able to hang out in the front drive and cheer us on! Lovely area, gorgeous home. Communication with Tom was so clear and easy, this was definitely a wonderful experience.

Truly wonderful house in beautiful setting with a pool that was perfect for us. We loved everything about our stay. The property is thoughtfully laid out for guests and flawlessly maintained. Every detail was great. We hope to return many times and so appreciate the thought and care that went into our stay. We did not have children with us but this house would be great for kids, wonderful separate room for them over the garage and several separate areas to gather.
