Everything about this house speaks elegance, comfort, and convenience. Only a couple of blocks from Union Station and the circulator bus to the National Mall, half a block from Giant Food Store and right in the middle of a fantastic selection of restaurants, from Indian to Ethiopian. This beautiful historic townhome was the centerpiece for a wonderful stay in Washington D.C. This three-bedroom home is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and full of amenities like an outdoor patio with private yard, Alexa home system, and a gourmet kitchen. The neighborhood felt very safe, with many conveniences within walking distance. Our group was so impressed with this property that we would gladly stay here again whenever in D.C.

This is an updated historical home in a great neighborhood with a groceries store across the street. Easy access to public transportation. The kitchen is awesome with premium cooking supplies. Super comfortable beds and well furnished with thoughtful touches. You won't need a Starbucks because it came with an espresso machine, French press, and premium drip brewing system. Our large family or 6 kids and two adults fit perfectly. The Amazon Alexa was a nice touch. Loved the back yard and parking right in the middle of the city.

We have rented a lot of houses through a lot of providers and by far this was the best. The house was a wonderful mix of 100 year old charm and modern updates. It contained everything we needed--a lot of space, very comfortable bedding, cool decor--plus the most thorough coffee/tea set up we have ever seen. The owners were by far the best HOSTS we ever had. They were very charming and helpful, providing a lot of information about the house and the capital hill area, ensuring we had everything we needed to have a great time. Capital hill is in the middle of a lot of cool things to do so the location was ideal. The house had 2 offstreet parking spaces which by itself is incredible. We are looking forward to renting this house again.

This is a mansion! The house is really spacious, with separate living and dining rooms, nice furniture, and a massive kitchen that has all the equipment you could possibly need. The house is in a lovely neighbourhood and convenient location just a few minutes from Union Station (also within walking distance of the Capitol and other sights). The upstairs bedrooms are large, comfortable and quiet, despite the proximity to H-Street, which has lots of nice restaurants and shops. The back garden and a private parking spot are also great additions. The check-in was easy and the communication from the hosts was always prompt and helpful. Great value for money and honestly one of the best AirBnBs I've ever stayed in - highly recommended!

Probably the best airbnb I've ever stayed in. The area was great with a grocery store right across the street. Amenities were amazing. Sleeping arrangement were perfect for what we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by how comfy the beds were for an airbnb. I would highly recommend to anybody visiting DC. We loved our stay! Everything was beyond perfect. Location was superb - less than 10 minutes walk from Union Station. Host provided lots of little welcomes, and answered any questions very quickly. Beds were super comfy, and neighbourhood was close to restaurants , supermarkets etc. We will be back!!

We loved our stay at this home! The location can't be beat; 200 yards from a grocery store and a few blocks away from multiple coffee shops, plus off street parking! Union Station is also an easy walk from the house. The check in was very easy & the owner checked in also to make sure we were all set. I appreciated the hand soap and TP/paper towels to start us off, as well as the board games. We are a family of 5, with 3 small kids. We explored DC by day and ordered in and played games at night, if we weren't exhausted. Beds were very comfy. We loved the character and charm of the house and neighborhood. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it for your trip!

The house is neat, clean and nicely decorated. The location is good. The neighborhood is safe and walk-able to all the sights. The parking was easy. Check in and check out was easy. It is a little tight for seven people, but we were fine. For four people it would be very roomy. The AC was very noisy, we turned it off at night. We were very happy with our stay.

Loved this home, it was in a really convenient area with a supermarket just across the road and some amazing food options nearby.
Only complaint is that this place has a 1.5 bathroom and not the full 2 that we presumed and the upstairs landing light was broken. Otherwise it was fantastic and the host was really accomodating!

This is a really nicely renovated apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. Great location for walking in the neighborhood or walking to the Capitol and mall. Beautiful kitchen and nice backyard. Beds are all comfortable with nice linens. Closets in every room. Side tables with lamps for reading in bed or on the sofa. Plenty of electrical outlets for computer/phone charging. Fun stay in DC
This is a really charming and comfortable home base for families visiting DC. We loved how easy it was to get around to the museums and the mall and enjoyed exploring neighborhood restaurants for dinner. The host is super responsive to emails and couldn't be more accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Location for Young Family
This house was perfect for us. We traveled with three young children and it was nice to have space to spread out after a long day. I appreciated the laundry for sure! There is only one full bath, but it is nice that there is an additional half bath. The rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed.
I really liked this location because you are very near a grocery store as well as many great take-out locations, which we took advantage of every night. The backyard area was nice for the kids.
The owner was very responsive, even when we needed a local urgent care.
The house IS old, so you should anticipate and expect creaky stairs/floors, small bathrooms, and so on. For us, this is part of city charm and not a negative.

A historic and cozy home base for exploring DC! Our family loved this rental. We were able to walk to museums and memorials as well as to grocery and beverage stores (including Whole Foods and craft beer store). We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen after long days of exploring. Would highly recommend as a more “authentic” DC experience than staying in a hotel.

Wonderful home
This VRBO is a charming old row home near NOMa in Washington DC. The house has been very nicely restored, with the historic charm retained but a great updated kitchen. The property is on a quiet street and has a nice little backyard with a grill, table and chairs and patio. It is within easy walking distance of 2 grocery stores as well as a bunch of restaurants. We definitely will stay here again.

Gorgeous row house, excellent location
We had a fabulous stay at Dena’s row house. Our family of five (three kids ages 4-15) stayed for a week to explore DC, and it couldn’t have been better for us. The location is excellent -- neighborhood feels very safe, grocery store one block away, Union Station a short walk away, coffee shops, etc. The house was built in 1890 and has all the charm you’d expect from that era — tall baseboards, beautiful molding, original wood floors, high ceilings. It has been renovated with good materials, so it feels solid. We loved the kitchen — it has a ton of natural light and gorgeous marble countertops.
Having three bedrooms was very helpful for us. Also loved the outdoor space. The weather allowed us to eat outside several times. Oh, and parking! It was amazing to have our own parking spot in the city. We didn’t use the car a ton because public transport is so easy, but it was nice to have.
Great to have laundry machines in the house. AC worked perfectly.

Great Location
We enjoyed this rental. Charming and historic, located close to grocery store, restaurants, and Union Station. Made it easy to get around the city! We were grateful for laundry and a parking spot. The owners were very responsive and helpful, and we had everything we needed. We were here in a ridiculous heat wave, and the A/C struggled, which was the only downside. That seemed just a part of renting an older row home. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay and accomodating hosts
My wife, three kids, in-laws, and I all stayed here for 5 days and everyone had great things to say. My mother in-law after walking through the whole place sat down and said "this place is just beautiful" always good to have a happy mother in-law.
We came in on the train and it's an easy walk with luggage to/from Union Station. The location was great for everything, I especially liked it for running since I could easily get up to the monument area. If you like to run as painful as it is I suggest setting the alarm for 4AM and going then, there's few if any people out, and the monuments are all lit up.
We would definitely recommend this place again. One of my kids is a restless sleeper so my wife ended up sleeping with them on the pullout couch, the next morning my wife said "that is a ridiculously comfortable sleeper".
We asked for a later checkout since our train wasn't leaving till after the checkout time and the host was very accommodating. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

DC vacation
This was a fantastic location for our family trip to DC. Very convenient location as most of the sights were an easy walk (20-30 min) or quick Uber ride away for our large family. House was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Beautiful house in a perfect location
Dena’s house was beautifully maintained and made our work/vacation in DC a lot of fun. Most DC attractions are a short walk/drive/Uber ride away. There are tons of grocery stores and restaurants just a short stroll away. The house is charming but modern at the same time. We had access to everything we needed to have a wonderful time in DC.

Amazing location
This property is located in a quiet neighborhood right downtown. It's so close to the Metro, coffee shops, grocery, etc.-- we had great experience! Owners were responsive to questions/needs.

Right in the middle of everything!
We had a great time here. Awesome access to Union Station and the DC Streetcar. The house has some really great architecture and has all the feels of the old row houses I love.

Lovely home, fabulous location and parking!!!!
Beautiful, quiet home, comfortably furnished with gorgeous kitchen. Two private parking spots in rear make going and coming convenient. Groceries half block away, Whole Foods 3 blocks away, steps to delicious restaurants... perfect location for our family of seven with five kids. Easy access to Mall and Capitol. One thing to be aware of is bathroom is nice but small, not atypical for DC.

Great Spot for Graduation Weekend!
Lovely home with adequate space for everyone to spread out and relax. The backyard and patio area are a definite plus. The owner was accommodating and responsive to all communications.

Amazing location and amazing stay!
Property was clean, convenient, and perfect for our needs. The property manager was GREAT about communication before check in, during the stay, and after check out to make sure we had everything we needed. House was perfect for what we were looking for and it was very close to the monuments, Union station, stores and restaurants. Would stay again and highly recommend!!

Birthday Weekend
We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and the house was perfect. Very clean and beautiful. The backyard is perfect for eating outside and relaxing. You truly cannot beat the location of the home. It is close to everything. I would recommend the house to my friends and family.

Great location
This property is superbly located and within walking distance to many wonderful tourist spots. The hosts were attentive and quick to respond throughout our month long stay. We enjoyed this home and would definitely recommend it to others who are looking for a gem near Capitol Hill.

Wonderful Home
My husband and I recently stayed at this property while we visited our son and his family. Due to the fact that we were traveling during Covid times, cleanliness was an important concern. This rental hit it out of the park. The home was in perfect condition, meeting all our standards for cleanliness. It is well appointed and very comfortable. Dena, the owner, was in touch with us often, making sure all our needs were met. We definitely plan on renting again when we next return to DC. We consider it a great find!

H Street Heaven!
I had a fantastic stay at Dena's place. Her prompt communication and personal touches made this the perfect stay. From allowing an early check-in to checking in on me during the week, Dena went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I even accidentally locked myself out of the house once, and Dena and her husband came to unlock the door right away. Highly recommend this property!

Summer Trip
Our family had an amazing stay at this house. There was plenty of room and the beds were extremely comfortable. We brought our 2 young kids with us and felt very safe. The back yard was great for them to play outside. We were concerned with picking a house in a good location that was convenient to everything. This one did not disappoint. Union station was very close and we also used uber which was very convenient and a super short drive to the center of National Mall. Thanks again, your home was amazing!
