A charming 4 Bedroom Lakefront house (3600 sq. ft) located in Deerfields private community with a gentle walk to the dock. Come relax and enjoy this perfect family vacation home for the 2019 season. Newly furnished with an open floor plan. Great features like a large open kitchen and two master bedrooms with king beds. Downstair bedrooms feature queen beds with a full bathroom in between, and roll away beds. The large family room has a queen sofa sleeper, card table and Foosball table. The house has two walk out decks. The secure, upper deck contains a grill and gathering table while the lower deck provides access to the back yard and dock. The covered dock can accommodate two boats (one covered) and has two JetSki porst.
The Deerfield home is located on a cul-de-sac with easy turn arounds in front of the house or at the end of the street. As a Deerfield Resort guest, you'll be able to enjoy the many amenities of the community which include the swimming pool, tennis courts, or sand volleyball. Drive a few minutes down the road and play a round of golf at The Greens at Deerfield's beautiful 6800-yard 18 hole championship course designed by Bobby Clampett, a PGA Touring Professional and Broadcaster. Features a driving range, practice greens and full service pro shop.

Deerfield has a designated trailer storage for a nominal fee.

LAKE RESTAURANTS NEARBY:
Enjoy the nearby Tiki Bar Restaurant at Deerfield Marina only 3 miles away from house by car. Dine at the Shanghai Restuarant only 15 minutes by boat.

Renters must be age 25 or older and provide drivers license I.D. – we encourage you to enjoy our home and lake to the fullest with the understanding that this is a family residential neighborhood with many full time residents. Late night wild parties will not be tolerated.

All rentals are to families and responsible adults only. No high school, college or civic groups, chaperoned or not, are permitted.

We stayed here with 6 adults and 1 child. Perfect location and clean inside. Was exactly how it was described in description, and Brian was super easy to communicate with! We hope to be back!

We had a girls weekend down at Hammer Haus and had a great time! There was plenty of room for 12 of us and the description of the place was accurate. The slope down to the lake is a little steep, but that’s to be expected at a Norris house. Nothing we couldn’t manage while carrying floats, coolers, etc. It was easy to check in and communicating with Brian was super easy!

Great property with plenty of room for everyone. Clean. Amazing views and not too far from our preferred Marina, Shanghai. The owner was very nice and showed a pride in ownership. Unfortunately, double decker pontoon boats are not permitted. It was mentioned in the rental agreement, but we did not receive our rental agreement until less than 24 hours before checking in. There is a boat lift for ski boats and a jet ski port for 2 jet skis. We had the best time! I would definitely recommend this property!

Beautiful house and great location. Great size bedrooms and well apportioned kitchen. Plenty of deer and squirrels to keep you entertained. We rented a pontoon for one day and it was within 45 minutes by water (they will deliver to the house if rented for three+ days). Great fire pit for hotdogs roast and smores. Really lets you enjoy Tennessee mountains. Owner (Brian) was easy to contact and very responsive. Definitely would recommend this property!

The house overall was spacious and clean, and had plenty of kitchenware etc. The 'gentle slope' is a bit treacherous for older folks, and anyone coming in via boat make sure you have someone put down the lift before you attempt the dock - the wake from the channel can be a bit challenging. Overall a great stay for our family - had plenty of room and private spaces. We had a couple infants and the big bedrooms made it ideal for pack 'n plays etc. For the golfers - if you don't know the course, it's also a challenge...blind greens and lots of hills, but still alot of fun! Location is great since it's just a few minutes boat ride to Tiki Hut or Shanghai marina (great food).

Really nice house> Overall clean but need to focus on the decks more. We had to sweep the decks clean of branches and cob-webs. Owner response was quick and helpful. Docks for boats and jet skis were nice. Great stay.

This is a beautiful home with everything you need for small or large families. The home is very spacious, laid out very well and in a small cove right off of the main channel close to Shanghai Marina. We had the best time!!

My family and I booked a long weekend trip for our dad, as he has been facing health issues that leave our future with him uncertain. The moment we walked into the house we were all stunned at how beautiful it was, even better than the pictures. The floor to ceiling windows gave the entire house an incredible view of the blue-green lake, and this included three of the bedrooms, each with an entrance to the double decker porch. It even rained and was a bit chilly for most of our stay, but honestly it didn't even put a damper (see what I did there) on the trip. The rain and cloudy skies actually made the common spaces very cozy, and the windows still provided a lot of natural light. Beyond the house itself, the owner was incredibly attentive. He typically responded within 15 minutes, and when one of the toilets weren't flushing efficiently, he sent out a plumber that same day. This is definitely somewhere we would come back to with our family.

Hammer House was perfect for our group of 8-9 adults. Roomy enough for everyone to be together for meals and visiting, and have your own space as well. Great location to most marinas on the north side of Norris. Brian responded quickly to any concerns or questions we had all week.

Great house on the lake with good access to the lake that is accessible at almost any age. Great layout for everyone involved to gather but also have their own private space at night. Close to neighboring marinas to rent boats and keep for the weekend! Be prepared to lose signal on the ride in if you are using your GPS on your phone, but totally worth the trip in!

Great clean house to visit for the weekend. Dock is in great condition and easy to use. Indoor parts of the house are wonderful. Essentially 2 living rooms and the basement is wonderful. Kids had a great time playing in ythe house. Outdoor patio might have needed some cleanup but this being just after the season, it really worked out fine. Good firepit as well. Would def stay again.

This is the third house we've rented at Norris Lake, and by far our favorite. The house was big enough and set up perfectly for our family needs. The slope to the covered boat dock was very navigable by all of us. (ages 5-69) When we had a small electrical issue the owner was very attentive and got it fixed immediately. We are hoping to return again in 2022.

Nice property in great location with direct view and access to the lake, spacious to accommodate our family retreat with 6 adults and 2 little kids. A new concrete path was put in so we don't have to use the small stone path, which was nice. We rented a boat from adjacent marina, used the community pool and everyone had a great time! Cons: 1. The house has on-going construction that the owner did not communicate with us in advance. Inside the common full bath downstairs was not finished for shower; Outside a patio was graded with covered dirt. All plastic lawn chairs have cracks and are dirty for use. 2. Many basics are not provided, including hand / dish soaps, detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, and even trash bags. Wish the property could provide some of the basics so we don't have to bring / shop so much on vacation.

Our two families enjoyed a long weekend together in this beautiful home. The house itself was beautiful and clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The dock was easy to navigate and fun for the kids to swim near. We appreciated the quiet cove and enjoyed the fire pit on colder evenings. All in all a perfect lake house!

This lake-front home was a very spacious 4-bedroom place with two really nice livings areas upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was very clean and nicely decorated. There were two decks that liked it over the lake which was amazing and relaxing. It was a short boat ride to two nice marinas. The only complaint we have was the walk down to the lake. While it wasn’t very far, the stone path was a little tricky and the rocks you had to climb over to get to the dock were a little rough. It was early in the season, so the outdoor furniture wasn’t very clean. And some needed replacing. All in all our family had a great time at this lake house!

The house is nice and well equipped for a larger group. The views from the house are amazing. The driveway is a bit steep and the backyard is a bit steep to the dock, especially with wet leaves on the ground- just take your time walking. We enjoyed our stay! THANK YOU!

The Hammer Haus worked perfectly for our family. It is laid out very well. Our adult children and grandchildren all had there own space. The grandkids (1 and 4 years old) loved the garden tub. The cove is nice for swimming off the dock since the main body can get very rough with boat traffic. My one complaint would be the stone steps leading to the dock. While it is a gentle slope, it rained and they become very slippery. But overall a wonderful experience.
