About this cottage rental
Just a short walk to the beach. Stone Harbor is a family resort town on a barrier island which includes Stone Harbor and Avalon. NJ. Short driving distance to Cape May, Wildwood, Ocean City. We are about 45 minutes south of Atlantic City.
Our home comfortably sleeps a family of 4-6. The first bedroom has a king size bed and wall air conditioner unit, the second bedroom has set of twin beds and a wall air conditioner unit. There is a living room in the front of the house with large smart TV, sofa, two comfortable chairs and a wall air conditioner unit. The back sun room that overlooks a large grass yard has a queen size sofa bed, free standing air conditioner, a TV and a door that closes the room off for privacy to use as a third bedroom. The eat in kitchen has a small dishwasher, microwave, full size refrigerator, glass electric stove and oven, coffee pot and all the essentials. The house has one full bath with shower/tub and hand rail and a large outdoor shower.
There is a large grass yard with Gas BBQ, dining table and umbrella, lounge chairs, clothes line and outdoor shower. In the garage you will find the clothes dryer and the clothes washer is in house in the back living room closet. Also in the garage are beach chairs and beach toys for your use. We supply 4 Stone Harbor seasonal beach tags for your use while you are staying with us, please leave the tags for the next guest upon departure. We also provide free WiFi, the password is hanging on the instruction sheet on the refrigerator. Off street parking is available for 2 cars in the driveway.

This property is just as shown on site. Perfect for a couple or small family. Nice quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance from the beach and downtown. Owner answers questions quickly. I would highly recommend this property.

This little house had everything we needed for our stay in Stone Harbor - plus close to the beach, food and shopping. Great experience.

House was great and location was fabulous! Richard was a very response host.
Our only concern was with the inconsistency of the wi-fi. Even though we followed Richard’s suggestion to unplug/replug, occasionally outages caused some minor issues.
Everything else was fine and we will consider returning next year.

We enjoyed our one week stay. It is a very basic home as described, excellent location, and easy communication with the owner. What wasn’t ideal was the rusted and chipping electric baseboards and the one bathroom needs an overhaul. It was professionally cleaned and we were satisfied with the overall value for the price.

A quick walk to the beach and a quick walk to town, this house was in a great location. We loved our time here and would rent here again in a second. Owner was very accessible and nice to have beach tags and chairs available. Thank you!

The entire stay was great. We have stayed here for 12 years plus. I highly recommend the property and the owner is great. The only compliant is the cleaning lady is really expensive and does a sub - standard job. Do not recommend using her.

Outside was lovely. very well manicured. Inside was another story. Dirt, hair and rust on heating vents. Lampshades covered in dust and dirt. The only nice room was the living room. Could not reach the dishes in the top shelf. No wine glasses.

The house was just the right size. It was very charming. We did have problem with ants on the kitchen counters. The kitchen floor was very sticky until we washed it. There was mold on some of the closet doors. We tried our best to wipe them clean. The neighbors were very nice. It sits in a nice area.

This was my third year staying at this property. I particularly like the neighborhood . It’s quiet and the neighbors are always friendly. I always use the outside shower and was pleasantly surprised that a newly constructed one awaited me.

I love staying in this sweet home, perfect for my family of four. With 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and a small kitchen, it’s perfect for a vacation stay. My daughter loves the grass back yard to practice soccer and my son loves the spare living space. I love that there’s a laundry line to hang out towels and wet items after our day at the beach, but by far my favorite thing is the outdoor shower. And the garage is stocked in case you forget a beach chair or umbrella.

My family and I have stayed here for a few years now and it is the perfect location, just a couple blocks from the beach, and a short 10 min walk to town. Has all the essentials you need for a week at the Jersey Shore. Will definitely be back

This is our 4th or 5th year staying at the perfect bungalow in Stone Harbor. Always clean and ready to go at check in time. Richard is available but we’ve never needed anything from him. Kids are growing but we will definitely be back!!
