The waterfront house has spectacular views overlooking the Saanich Peninsula and Salt Spring Island. Located minutes away from the Brentwood Bay/Mill Bay ferry, the house has easy access to Victoria airport and Butchart Gardens by ferry and is within a thirty minute drive of Victoria.

Very little to say that the pictures do not already cover... Unbelievable location right on the water, with expansive views. Huge patio area with lots of seating for a variety of sun or shade views, plus large windows throughout the waterside of the home for those times you want to be indoors, but not miss out on the views. Lot's of great wildlife viewing as well. Everything you need right in the very small town of Mill Bay allows for a great retreat vacation. Or pop over to Shawnigan Lake for even more options (and some really great Thai food). Good proximity to all of the best of the island allows for as much action packed into each day as you desire. Very easy access to the highway or just 5 minutes from the Brentwood Ferry to shorten the drive into Victoria. And the house itself is lovely. Nothing fancy here, but well appointed with everything you will need. Strong internet, and the best stocked kitchen of any house we've ever rented. Super easy check-in, check-out, and Connie is fantastic to work with -- attentive and available for anything you need. It is hard to imagine how this home could disappoint.

We really enjoyed our time at this property! Some of our observations! This was the location that we wanted, between Nanaimo and Victoria. There isn’t a lot to Mill Bay, but we were prepared for quite a bit of driving. The property is right on the water. The canoe and the two kid size kayaks were loads of fun. The house is extremely well stocked, everything from firewood to board games, to kitchen supplies and loads of towels. Lots of space in the house. 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch. Lovely family room with a couch and a few chairs to sit and look out over the water. On-site laundry was super helpful after days of hiking. We did find quite a few ants in the basement bedrooms when we arrived, so we had to deal with them before bedtime. Hauling the canoe and kayaks down the stairs was tricky. I was grateful that I was there with my husband and teenage son. I would not have been able to do that on my own and it was such a great part of our experience staying here. This is one of the more dated homes that we have stayed at, not that it’s a con, but more of a comment. Not sure if there was AC in the house and I can only imagine how hot it gets during the summer months! We would stay here again without a second thought.

The views were fantastic. Saw lots of seals. Place was well outfitted and comfortable to hang out at. We went kayaking straight from the beach which was great. As was doing a beach walk just about everyday. Connie was fast to respond to any questions we had too. A great getaway.

It was very easy to communicate with the host. The home was well supplied with everything (except fresh food, of course)! We stayed for a week, and every question we had was answered soon after we asked it. There is actually beds there for 8 people! There is one shower/tub, but seems to be lots of hot water. The outside patio is exactly as pictured, with plenty of room and more chairs nearby. The deck (right off of the kitchen) has some really cute lights on it. We really appreciated the views, peace and quiet! Totally relaxing!

So clean! Amazing view! The kids loved beach combing right on the property. I loved the amazing view from the kitchen and the very comfy beds. My husband loved using the kayaks to go out in the water. Absolutely loved our stay!

Stayed for 1 week in May. This is a perfect setup for experiencing the Island with family. Stocked with all basics for eating in. Beautiful view of Mill Bay. Roomy, clean. Really felt like home away from home. This property would be my first choice when we return. Thank you Connie. Appreciate how homey you have made it. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed a week in this well appointed home. It is in a great location to tour the area. We visited Victoria, Nanaimo, Chemanus, and up the west side of the island to Jordon River. Did some wine tasting and enjoyed lots of seafood.

What a lovely cozy beach house. It was more than we could have imagined with a 180 view of the tranquil bay. The indoor and outside spaces were very comfortable with everything we needed to have a good holiday. We brought our kayaks and it was terrific to be able to get on the water so easily. We would highly recommend the Beach House.

Lovely waterfront location with lots of relaxing places to lounge. Clean, with a nice beach feel to the house. Noticed the traffic noise the first night, but much quieter on subsequent nights. Good location for day trips around the south end of the island.

The cottage is super comfortable with a 10 million dollar view right at the ocean. A flight of stairs takes you to the beach! And a five minute drive takes you to shopping and restaurants. We will return!

This delightful, cozy spot was just perfect for water lovers like us! We enjoyed the amazing views of Saanich Inlet and the waterfront location for easy ocean access. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking our own meals. Connie was a pleasure to deal with when we had questions. We would stay here again!
