About this house rental
This home is located on the golf course in the beautiful Princeville Sunset Drive Community, open space with gorgeous mountain views. There is a community gated pool and a tennis court for the Sunset Community residents and guests. The home is a 5 minute walk to the 1 Hotel Hanalei in Princeville with beach access or you can drive to beautiful Hanalei Bay. The Sunset home is accommodating for families and large groups.
There is a large back yard and a BBQ Grill for family fun. The living room features a 37” high definition TV, also high speed internet. The master bedroom has a king bed with a flat screen TV and a remodeled bathroom consisting of an over sized tub and walk in shower, the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queens beds and the fourth bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is a jog walk path along the golf course of Ka Haku Road leading to shops, restaurants, the community park, and to the 1 Hotel Hanalei.
The home is walking distance to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, shop’s, restaurants, and beach access.

Princeville was the perfect location for our family gathering!
The house had everything we needed for cooking meals and going to the beach. There was plenty of room for everyone and we really enjoyed the lania!! If your going to Kauai this is the rental you want !!

This rental worked great for our family. It is a bit outdated and has older carpet in the bedrooms. The twin bedroom has a funky smell that we weren’t sure what it was. We washed the bedding and it was better. The master bed and bathroom was big and spacious. The bath was super nice as well. The neighborhood was very peaceful and well kept. Overall it was a great house and very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay. Kauai is out favorite island !! This is the first time we have booked a VBRO through this management company and will totally be recommending to family and friends!! Hoping to be back again next year and stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our two week stay at this location. Lori, the property manager, was wonderful from start to finish, with excellent communication and friendliness. The space was large enough for our group to enjoy, was well equipped with anything you would need to cook and play, including beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, and toys (though you may want to rent snorkeling gear- we brought our own so didn’t dig through to see if the house provided any). Great location close to Foodland, Nourish Hanalei, Hideaways and Sea Lodge Beach, and a short drive to Anini, Kiluea, and Hanalei . Beautiful views through every window. We were there in June and the open windows brought in cooling cross winds so we were all very comfortable. All in all a great time and we would definitely come again!

This property is perfect for families! The layout of the home and location made it a dream for our family to explore the island and all sleep well! The large kitchen had proper cookware and utensils for cooking. The wrap around covered deck had great views during the rains. The home was very clean and safe. Our kids had fun in the warm community pool on our low key rest day. All around, we had a great stay in this home and are sad to leave.

Great house for a group. Truly beautiful view from the upstairs area. House was very functional and enough bathrooms for a group of eight that we never a problem. Great lanai for hanging outdoors where cute birds would come visit us everyday.

Our rental was well-maintained, beautifully situated next to a golf course, and within easy driving distance to beaches, restaurants, river kayaking. The house was comfortable for all seven of us (parents, two adult children, and one grandchild).

This was a great vacation home for our family. The community pool and tennis courts are basically across the street. There are some sand toys, boogie boards, and tennis racquets currently on the property for use. Communication with the property manager Lori was amazing. She was attentive and able to answer all our questions in a timely manner. Including questions about wifi speed.

This property was perfect for our group of 4 couples. From this home base we were able to hit up everything the island had to offer. Being close to Hanalei and Haena State park was perfect, and we loved the proximity to Kilauea.
The pictures do not do this house justice—it is big, well appointed, and has ample seating both indoor and outdoor for the group. We enjoyed using the kitchen for meals and eating on the lanai looking at the mountains. A phenomenal experience!

Our multi-generational family really enjoyed our week in this home. It was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. It is within walking distance of Hideaway Beach and Queen's Bath, though a few in our group were not up for the steep climb to the beach involved. Also in good location for us to access other North Coast sites (Napali Coast, Tunnels Beach, Anini Beach, Hanalei). The kitchen is well-stocked with dishware and cookware, but plan to buy ALL of your own cooking supplies, as there was not even salt/pepper to be found.

This is a beautiful, spacious home that suited our needs for a multi-generational family reunion with our Kauai ohana. Lots of space to spread out. Gorgeous views of the mountains, and lovely pool for the grandchildren. Convenient and central location, in a quiet residential neighborhood. The location of the house worked well for the activities we had planned but did do a lot of driving, which is standard for Kauai if you do anything on the south side of the island. We enjoyed having the space and the views from the upstairs are spectacular. As other guests have stated, some upgrades are definitely needed for the price we paid.

Great family reunion for members from New Zealand, North Carolina and New Mexico. The home is lovely with amazing views (made kitchen cleanup a joy). We went to many amazing beaches, shopping, and water adventures. The grounds are beautiful. The whole process was stress free. Recommend highly!

The upstairs is an open floor plan with great views everywhere. The neighborhood pool is close by and usually very quiet and relaxing. The backyard borders the golf course so that’s an extra bonus with no rear yard neighbors. The house is close to the Princeville shopping center with the Foodland and various restaurants and shops. Hanalei and Annini Beach are a short drive as well. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in 2023.

My family of 8 enjoyed our stay here. Everyone had a great time playing games out on the 2 lanais. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy each other’s company here. The home is a bit dated, but only the appliances were a small issue. The markings were rubbed off the stove burner knobs so we kept turning them the wrong way, which isn’t a huge problem. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to come back in the future.

Stunning views from beautiful home
This home is beautiful with large windows that look out to the mountains and golf course. My family and I (5 adults, 3 kids) had a wonderful time here. They provided us with beach chairs, some beach towels, and sand toys. The kids loved using the boogie boards in the water. The home is very comfortable and I would definitely stay here again! Mahalo for helping us to have such a great trip here in Princeville.

We did like the location of the rental property, and the property management always answered any of our questions in a timely manner, however we did find that the place wasn’t very clean when we got it, I believe we did a better cleaning when we left then the cleaning crew does. So I’m not sure what our cleaning fee goes towards. Also we did find over ten cockroaches throughout the home (dead and alive), management did say they would send someone out but at that point we only had a day left on the rental.

The pool is a walk away. The only problem was the fans in the rooms. The master and front bedroom fans were *grinding* loud. It was tough to sleep the first night, but we all got used to it. Having onsite laundry was very helpful.

The Sunset house was the perfect house for us. We loved the location, the size, the floor plan etc. We were getting married on the island and had a ton of family and friends stay in Princeville and this house was a great central location for all to walk to. We spent a wonderful vacation with our children and some grand children at this house. It is in a great location close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. When we experienced some problems with getting the TV working, customer service was quick to fix the problem and show us how to use the 4 remotes in the correct sequence. We recommend it highly.
