Charming 2brdm/ 2ba Villa located within the Tubac Golf Resort and minutes from the historic Art community of Tubac. Enclosed front patio with gas grill, back patio with sitting area, Community pool. Within Tubac golf resort, pro shop and easy access to golf course, spa and restaurant. Just 30 minutes South of Tucson, Tubac is a charming village that features great restaurants, shopping and a variety of art galleries. It is also a great area for hiking , biking and relaxing. It is also accessible to a number of wild bird habitats and the Santa Cruz River Riparian area.

We enjoyed the beautiful, relaxing surroundings and the great location - right at Tubac Golf Resort. The house is roomy enough. There are some projects that need to be done, mostly on the outside. But overall, it's a comfortable place to stay for a few days to get away from the bustle of Tucson.

My husband and I have stayed at Jim's villa several times and we always enjoy relaxing on the front patio. Since our previous stay, Jim has done some improvements such as a new back door and painting the kitchen and second bathroom. He even stopped by to say hello and make sure everything was okay.

Love this location, and Jim is very easy to reach. He will respond to and fix any problem that is brought to his attention. Through the years, the property has seen some upgrades, and I appreciated some new ones this trip. Main complaint is that it is definitely in need of some cosmetic fixes, and kitchen amenities(dishes, pots and pans, knives and cooking utensils) need improved. Overall a good visit.

Great 4 day stay at the Historic 1789 Otero Ranch at the Tubac Country Club. Enjoyed area attractions, great dining in the Club restaurant and relaxing hikes. Villa is exactly as shown in the ad, my dog and I enjoyed everything the villa and the area had to over. Owner, Jim, met us and showed us the unit and the grounds personally.

AC did not work very well so at night it wouldn’t not cool over 77 degrees. It rained several days and we were there and the living room roof leaks so the floor pulled water we had to move their electronics to save TV from getting ruined.

My mother died which required me to go to Illinois rather than use this pre-paid VRBO stay. Obviously, I have no "overall impression" other than to say that under these circumstances I would like to have heard from VRBO re cancellation and either a refund or a credit for a future stay.

Historic and charming
Located within the historic and charming Tubac Golf Resort, the villa was clean, roomy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed bird watching from the front patio and going for walks along the golf course. One day we even saw four wild turkeys on one of the fairways. We had a nice get-away and plan to return.

The villa on the grounds of Tubac Resort offers privacy on the two patois with views and the tasteful decor inside is comfortable and homey. All the amenities have been thought through to make the stay easy and relaxing.

GREAT PLACE TO RESTORE AFTER DAY OF HIKING
Very quiet neighborhood. Felt very safe. Kitchen offered all we needed to cook and clean up. Updated furnishings were comfortable for relaxation and rest. Easy access to trails provided lots of serenity and wildlife. Birding was great. Will return because of owners' helpfulness and interest in making our stay pleasant.

It’s hard not to have a gress as t time s as t the Tubac resort! The house is situated perfectly at the resort for proximity to golf and restaurant. Property is very nice and satisfies all needs. Second bedroom and bathroom is a bit small for a couple but ok.

First, the positives. Jim was a great host, very responsive to any question we had before and during our stay. The location is great, inside the Tubac resort, easy walking access to golf, the Stables restaurant, the Anza trail, and Tubac village with its shops, restaurants, and galleries. The casita was clean and had a comfortable living area with good internet and satellite TV as well as smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. The kitchen, though small, was well supplied with cooking equipment for basic cooking. We enjoyed our stay.There were just a couple of things that made the stay less than perfect. The bed in the master bedroom had terrible sheets of some synthetic fabric that kept sliding off the mattress, so that you had to keep trying to pull them back up during the night. The mattress had a foam mattress topper that we found way too soft and uncomfortable. And a weird feature was that there was no door between the otherwise very nice master bath and the bedroom, affording no privacy for someone using the toilet or shower. But if those things don't matter to you, you'll probably love it.

What a great location within the resort.
The dwelling is very comfortable with all the amenities the resort has to offer. It’s convenient located near the Tubac downtown area which is within walking distance or a very short drive. I would recommend it to my friends and family.

Another enjoyable stay
This is the 4th time we have stayed at Jim’s property. Property has seen some updates and improvements, although some fine tuning is still needed. Everything you need is there, and the couple times we did have to contact him with a question or slight problem, he was extremely prompt at responding and resolving. Definitely recommend this property. Thanks Jim.

Great place, very close to course.
The condo was cute and a touch querwky but very comfortable. The two bedrooms are at either end of the condo allowing for two snoring golfers to inhabit the same condo and not kill each other. The galley kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to create your own meals. The Tubac market is about 1/2 mile away.

Enjoyed our stay
Location is great. Resort is beautiful. Villa is very comfortable with good beds and furniture. WiFi works well as does the TV in living room. Streaming services work with TV. Overall we liked the villa and the owner. Kitchen is small and adequate for some cooking. We saw lots of javelinas around the resort at night which was fun.

The unit was great and very convenient for what we need to do. However some repairs could be made to the shower in the master bathroom. The place was quite comfortable and as I said convenient in and out parking is easy I would definitely recommend it, except for the master bathroom shower.

Our second visit
My husband and I stayed at the villa once before and thought it was great. This time, however, we found it not quite as clean and maintained as we expected. And it was low on supplies such as paper towels and soap. But we really like the location in the golf resort community, the peacefulness, privacy and the neighborhood pool, which we used every day. Tubac visit
It was a great place to stay for a few days! We were very comfortable in the unit. The #1 drawback is that both patios were dirty, unkept and unattractive. We enjoy sitting out on the patios, so that is very imiportant to us. The kitchen is in need of updating. Otheer than that, it is a great place.

Great villa in quiet neighborhood
Jim's villa was just what we've been looking for, and it had everything we needed. It's tastefully decorated, clean and neat. One of the most important requirements for us is a good bed, and the king bed with huge headboard was very comfortable. The second necessity is a place to sit outside, and the villa had two covered patios where we spent a lot of time watching the birds. We also enjoyed the private neighborhood pool lined with tall trees. The proximity to the Tubac Golf Resort golf course and burrito shack was convenient, as was the accessibility for long, peaceful walks. Thanks Jim. We had a very nice time. - Christy & Leo
