Boasting an incredible array of amenities, this dog-friendly Newport vacation rental has a beautiful view of Yaquina Bay and a location that's just a short walk to Newport's historic bayfront and all its galleries and restaurants. And when you're not off exploring Newport's beaches and shops, you'll have community amenities like a weight room and more right on-site.
After a day spent at the Oregon Coast Aquarium across the bridge or wandering through Newport's bayfront attractions, you'll appreciate being able to come home to your comfortable, well-stocked condo at the Embarcadero. Lounge on the sofa in front of the woodstove to talk about the day or watch a DVD on the cable TV sharing a big bowl of popcorn. From the living room, you'll also have beautiful bay views - if it's nice out, you'll want to enjoy the stunning view right from your deck. Check your email with the free WiFi as you relax in the deck with a morning cup of coffee.
Meals can easily be prepared in the cute, tiled full kitchen - there's even a dishwasher so you won't have to spend valuable vacation time scrubbing pots and pans. Of course, you're also just steps away from a number of Newport's best eateries. You can pick up a wood-fired pizza at Panini's bayfront location, snack on fresh fish tacos at Local Ocean Seafoods, or have pints of Dead Guy ale and Brutal Reuben sandwiches at Rogue Ales Public House.
When it's time for bed, the two bedrooms offer a king and queen bed, with a sofabed in the living room. From the king bedroom, you'll even have a gorgeous Yaquina Bay view. And don't forget the dogs! Up to two dogs are welcome here with a small nightly fee.
And now for the best part - those wonderful amenities! This Oregon Coast vacation rental has a sauna and a private crabbing/fishing dock. There are sun decks for enjoying a clear day at the coast and from almost any location you'll be rewarded with lovely water views!
This great Newport location also offers a lot of variety. You can walk along Bay Boulevard, browsing galleries or walk a bit north through town to the artsy Nye Beach area. Spend rainy days at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, then make the short drive south along Highway 101 to explore tide pools at Seal Rock State Wayside during a sun break.
Right nearby there's also hiking and biking opportunities - one of the most notable being Yaquina Head Outstanding National Area. You can take a deep sea fishing excursion through Newport Tradewinds, located right along the bayfront. Or, go razor clamming on Newport's Agate Beach or beachcombing at Beverly Beach.
One thing is for sure, at this Central Oregon Coast vacation rental you will never run out of things to do! Even on rainy days, you can watch a storm over the water right from your living room windows.

This was a great location but the house needs a lot of work. It’s very outdated with wallpaper peeling off the walls and mold all over including the bathroom walls and the washing machine. The pull out couch was so dirty, moldy, and stained it couldn’t be used. It would be a great place to stay if they updated and took care of it a little more but instead it was just disappointing.

Location is awesome, place is clean. Sofa bed mattress was not comfortable, no AC

Perfect for two couples. Was hard to find something that would work. Most were set up for families. Though the unit was outdated, it was comfortable and clean. Awesome view. Great amenities: pool and workout facility was nice. It appears they have taken care of issues that have been listed on previous reviews.
Dealing with the front office was confusing because we are booked through Vacasa. The upstairs bed is one of the best we’ve had on a vacation. We would stay here again.

It’s cozy, could use a facelift but was comfy.

Gorgeous view. Comfortable furnishings and beds. Perfect bay location

Stupendous view and great location.

Will definitely stay here again. Views were phenomenal. The condo is exactly as seen in the photos so no surprises on how updated everything is. Absolutely loved our stay here.

You can’t beat the view for this place but it could use some updating to make it more comfortable

Beautiful view and spacious

Amazing location and beautiful views. The property is showing its age and we couldn’t get the dishwasher to work. It’s a good enough place to flop but needs some repair work. You are getting just the basics here

Thank you for being so flexible and welcoming. The view was incredible, the pool, hot tub and sauna were wonderful. The washing machine needed a bit of help locking the door and we wished there were some more cooking utensils. I brought my parents (70&79 y.o) on my spring break and they loved it. Never change the downstairs bathroom wallpaper because it was amazing.

Wonderful water views and amazing pool! One bedroom is actually an open loft up steep stairs so definitely not recommended for anyone who has bad knees. Clean but very outdated…stained bedroom carpets are kinda gross and the recliners are extremely old….one recliner no longer reclines and is very uncomfortable while swiveling to the left continuously. Reminded me of my great grandma’s house.

Older but nice. Needs new pans.

I really liked the layout of the condo, the location was wonderful. The view was perfection. My only complaint would be the mold in both bathrooms and the chairs in the living room.
6.0 / 10.0
This room is very outdated. Wallpaper is peeling and molding, carpets are really stained, dishwasher leaked water all over the floor and the recliner chairs were broken and smelly.
Was hard to prepare meals for my family with only 2 small pans to cook with.
The view was absolutely amazing and location to crabbing dock was great.

This condo is great. It’s an awesome location and although the furniture is older, it is a nice place to stay. The only problem (which is a big deal) is the beds. The king size bed in the main bedroom (upstairs )seems to be broken. There was a huge hump down the middle and both sides sagged off to the point we were rolling out of the bed. The springs seem to be broken. We had to shim a pillow under the edge of the bed to keep ourselves from rolling off. The property manager did come out after four nights and tried to adjust the frame to help. She was very nice and tried, but that didn’t help the fact that we were sleeping on an indescribably uncomfortable bed. It’s hard to enjoy yourself with little sleep and aching backs. The queen bed is not terrible but also… not comfortable. We were given a very small partial refund (not enough in my opinion). Just a tiny random amount with no explanation of the reasoning for that amount. But…I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they replace the bed. If it weren’t for the bed, I would have given 5 stars. The Embarcadero is nice with a convenient location and the private crabbing dock is our favorite. The patio overlooking the bay was beautiful. We had a lot of fun but the condo and our stay was marred by the terrible beds. I have NEVER stayed in a vacation rental/hotel with worse beds. No exaggeration. C’mon owners!! Just buy a new mattress! It’s one of the most important parts of a rental house. (Also…the compensation refunded should have been more.)

plenty of room for everyone to have space. right on Bayfront, so excellent views. easy check in.

Nice floor plan with a beautiful view, close to shopping and attractions.

This unit has a fantastic view of Yaquina Bay! Inside is fairly dated and could use some remodel work. If you plan to cook, bring your own pots/pans as there are only two tiny egg size pans. Otherwise it’s location location here. Also, Embarcadero currently has no bar or grill open. Tragic.

Once you understand that you’re not living there. It’s killer! Views Views Views. Needs a little love that’s for sure. Would highly recommend this unit.

Overall stay was great, will likely rebook in the future.

The condo was very outdated and moldy smelling. The wall paper in the kitchen was peeling off the walls. The strip that goes on the floor upstairs in the bathroom wasn't even nailed down and we couldn't even shut the bathroom door. When i got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom i tripped over the strip and ended up with a nail in my foot. There was a light burned out in the parking lot and my husband ended up tripping over a huge rock that was in the median and jacked up his knee. We did file and incident report but he spent the whole trip hobbling around. But the worst part was the way the check in lady treated us when she found out that we were not "owners" and had booked through a second site. She was very rude and abrupt to me and my husband. All in all it was a very disappointing trip (and it was our honeymoon) 😡 we probably wont stay there again and will find somewhere else to spend our money.

When you enter this dilapidated property your greeted by a sign when you open the door that says "please remove your shoes" that would be great if you weren't worried about your feet touching the disgusting carpets in both bedrooms. My wife and i dont remember staying in a dirtier more run down property EVER. I can't believe the owners and Vacasa think this is OK but they must.
We tool pics of wall paper peeling off, mold in tubs, incredibly filthy carpets, dirty pots and pans, food in stove cupboard, spiders crawling on our suitcase on and on.
Bring your own TV remotes theres dont turn on either TV but when you do manual turn them on the volume button on remote works.
I will leave with when you pull up the 30 or 40 year old mini blinds the view is great.
8.0 / 10.0
The view was amazing. There was a lot of space, people could have their privacy. It was a great place, we would definitely go back for a longer stay.
6.0 / 10.0
Interior paint old and wallpaper very dated. Microwave oven at least 25 years old. Dishwasher door broken and will not close properly, down stairs toilet plugged up and/or would not shut off multiple times in 4 day stay. Ceiling in living room hall has water damage with plaster peeling. The living room window shades are badly torn and unraveled so badly the slats fall out. All bathroom fixtures are original “gold” plated and very much damaged, scratched and corroded. Light fixtures missing on deck. Cobwebs in skylights. TVs allure date smart TVs. Lighting very poor and very dated.
This unit I believe is well below VRBO standards. Would not recommend to anyone.

Everything is run down or broken, but the view was nice!
4.0 / 10.0
I stay at VRBO properties exclusively and did not see that this was booked through VRBO but was a VACASA managed property. On arrival, I retrieved the key cards from the lock but neither of them worked. I called the Vacasa help line and after freezing for 10 minutes at the door as the dude walked me through how to use a keycard as though I was stupid, he advised that I needed to go to the front desk of the resort and get new key cards.
On the surface, aside from the floors that couldn’t have been cleaners in months, the unit looked clean. However there were towels folded in the vanity appearing as clean that were not, the coffee pot carafe was cracked and broke when the hot coffee filled it, the shower door took two hands and all my might to close it and couldn’t be closed from inside the shower, the upstairs toilet flushes every other flush, aside from sheets, there was no bedding on the upstairs bed, the dishwasher was full from previous guests, there was 1/2 roll of paper towels and no dish towel or dish cloth.
But back to the floors. The kitchen floor was so dirty our feet stuck to it. I cleaned it with paper towels and dish soap. The bedroom carpets were beyond disgusting. We read a couple reviews that carpets were gross but thought they just meant because they were ugly blue indoor/outdoor carpets in the “walkthrough” video. But the photos looked to have updated flooring.
No, the bedroom carpets were filthy. Un cleaned pet urine, pet vomit? Other crisp crunchy spots

Condo was as advertised. Roomy for family of 4. Upstairs bed is VERY hard, not conducive for restful sleep. Wallpaper is pealing and stained, blinds downstairs are broken and would not open to the wonderful view of the bay. Little love and it could be exceptional. Close to the bay front shopping area. View was amazing!

The property was good. Very comfortable. Great location. My only disappointment was when we wanted to extend our stay I had to go through the site and I was going to have to pay the cleaning & booking fee again, so I didn't book. I went to a hotel for our extended 3 days that we added to our trip.
10.0 / 10.0
Great view! Could use a little update but had everything we needed. Had a fun trip!
4.0 / 10.0
This house had a great location and the view was amazing! The recreation area was really nice with a large pool and 2 hot tubs!! With that being said this house is in need of major upgrades/repairs. The biggest and most concerning…there was a lot of mold in the upstairs bathroom. The house smelled musky and wasn’t clean. Downstairs toilet was dirty upon arrival! (as if someone used it and it wasn’t cleaned in between guest) Blinds were broken. And if you like a soft bed book elsewhere, literally felt like sleeping on the floor. Most all these issues have been mentioned in previous reviews dating back to 2021!
4.0 / 10.0
The main reason for booking this condo was for the private crabbing dock but they don't bother to tell you they close at 11 PM right when the crabbing starts to get good so kind of a joke if the dock was open 24 hours A-day I would definitely stay there again just for the crab and not the room beds were horrible And room was not very clean
8.0 / 10.0
The location and the view was awesome! The house was nice and comfortable.
3.0 / 10.0
Wonderful location on the Bay within walking distance of the Bay front.
8.0 / 10.0
The view, the quiet, location. It's a fairly nice place, but one is really insulted when walking in to a sign that says "Please Remove Shoes" when the carpeting is absolutely 70's, stained and who knows how clean. I guess it's "beach chic" but that flooring is really kinda yucky! Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and the windows on each floor that overlook the bay are really nice.
8.0 / 10.0
Wonderful location. Property interior is a little dated. New floor in living/kitchen and entry area. Nice and quiet.
4.0 / 10.0
The room was quaint with character but has a few things needing replaced or upgraded/repaired. Super easy check in and out which was convenient! There’s a private dock for crabbing which was super fun for the kids.
2.0 / 10.0
Who owns this? When was the last time they actually saw the condition of the unit?? We didn’t die, but the carpets and furniture are so worn, faded, scungy it didn’t feel clean to sit on anything. The carpets were spotted with food/etc stains. The kitchen is pretty dated (microwave mfr date 1984, really) no spices to cook with and no containers for food storage for leftovers. Then the bed. When spending $300+/nt one sort of expects a decent mattress. It is so lopsided it was hard to not sleep on the edge. Furniture makes not sense and doesn’t fit the room. There is little vision for an actual design of the space. Then the tv/dvd player; we figured it out but there were 5 remotes for different components. With technology being what it is and relatively inexpensive this could be much improved. There are a boat load of science magazines to fill the bookshelves…again, most from the 1980s. Science changes. They need to go. Then the key cards kept deactivating and had to return to the front desk to get them reactivated. We loved the view and all the boats coming and going, crab fishing off the private dock, and the view of the bay bridge. The grounds are well kept. But overall we were disappointed to pay top dollar for substandard attention to interior features and maintenance , the undisclosed fees were a sore point. We probably won’t ever book again. We kinda feel scammed and know there are better, less deceptive pricing options out there.

We Love Newport! This location is great because it's easy to walk along the bay and get to shopping and restaurants. It's also centrally located to alot of the popular attractions along the coast.
