About this apartment rental
Welcome to Unit A116 in the tower section of the Pinnacle Port Resort complex. Pinnacle Port is located in a gated community at the furthest west part of Panama City Beach, Florida. No where else in Panama City Beach will you find a resort on the beach and a lake on 26 acres of sand. This private, gated resort borders Camp Helen State Park to the west, Carillon Beach to the east, 800 acre Lake Powell to the north and the Gulf of Mexico to the south. We are close enough for daily activities in the busy areas of Panama City Beach, Panama City, Destin and Sandestin while remaining far enough off the beaten path to enjoy the seclusion and privacy that only Pinnacle Port can offer. Our beaches provide the most picturesque sunrises in the mornings and sunsets in the evenings. If one is lucky you may see the porpoise at play in the warm gulf waters. Families take long walks and many begin their life journey together on the white sands. The setting is absolutely serene.
In the winter, half of the pool is completely enclosed and the water is heated to a comfortable 82°. This pool sits on the Gulf so you can see and hear the waves. Music is played over the speakers during daylight hours. Concessions are available for a small fee. Just inside the main building, across from the men’s and women’s changing rooms are the men’s and women’s saunas. This area is open to all guests during the open pool hours. There is also a video arcade available for the youngsters.
Another exclusive amenity provided to our guests is a marina with a boat ramp and 14 boat slips. All of the boat slips have access to electrical outlets. Guests have the option to bring their boat, wave runners or jet skis with them. There is a small $20.00 per week trailer parking fee collected at the guard gate. A filleting station with a cutting board and a sink are provided for your convenience. Almost anything you can fish for in the Gulf of Mexico you can catch in Lake Powell. Florida fishing license requirements apply to the lake and gulf obtained at Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Stand on the pier and fish or watch from the lovely Gazebo.
The children’s playground is on the west end of property. This area gives the kids a little more to do if they are too small for other activities. The small pool is right in front of the playground. While the grown ups relax and rejuvenate the kids are entertained by the playground. The play ground offers a 6 station swing, a small climbing course, ideal for the little ones, along with a fun tube slide. Besides the play ground, the resort offers an exciting game room for the older kids, ideal for sending them off to play while you relax or play shuffleboard. Play volleyball or basketball on the courts beside the playground.
If pickleball or tennis is your game come and play a set beside the water of beautiful Lake Powell. After spending some time at the beach head to the court for some volleying fun. If you are lucky, the part time resident bald eagle will make an appearance at the top of an old light pole just southwest of the courts. There are four courts that have lighting set on a timer. The fencing around the courts has a wind guard material. The court hours are 5 am to 11 pm. The lights will automatically shut off accordingly. During the winter season, many tournament and lessons are held on our tennis courts. See you on the court!
If you want to workout while on vacation, feel free to visit the fitness room. It comes complete with weights, cardio equipment & a view of the gulf that will distract even the fittest of visitors.
While some of the family are fishing others may decide to take a walk on the beautiful beach and soak up the sun while others play in the sand. What is so nice about this beach, it's not crowded like condos on the strip. Our condo borders Helen State Park to the west, so we have about 1/2 mile of open space(no buildings). If you get too warm, you can retreat to the large indoor/outdoor pool to relax in the shade and enjoy the pool. Another pool (outdoors) is located by the tennis courts.
Pier Park is located just 8 miles east on Hwy 98. Pier Park is a shopping complex with major stores such as Dillard's, Target and many specialty shops; fine restaurants such as Long Horn Steak House, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Red Brick Pizza Oven, and many others. The park has rides for kids, and a large Movie complex.
We have Winn Dixie, Publix grocery stores and CVS Pharmacy located just walking distance from the condo.
When you return, park in your private parking space. No looking for a spot.
Look no further--this is one outstanding condo in quality and value! Located in the gated community of PINNACLE PORT, you will enjoy spectacular sunsets as you sit on our 1st floor balcony or stroll along the private white sand beaches of Panama City Beach.
Come to Pinnacle Port, your own private peninsula, with unobstructed views for miles up and down the beach. If you want to just take in a great sampling of Mother Nature, you can paddle over to Helen State Park and Wild Heron Preserve, where there is nothing but water, beaches, woods and natural wetlands. But please respect the wildlife. This is part of a State Wildlife Sanctuary.
Golf? Some of the finest courses within 5 minutes from the parking lot, including the Greg Norman course at Sharks Tooth Golf Club, located across Hwy 98 at Wild Heron Community. Or Camp Creek Golf Club or Origins Golf Course, both within 7 minute drives to the west down Hwy 98. If miniature golf is your game, there are several courses located only a few miles in Panama City.
There is simply NOT a better location to enjoy the Gulf Coast area. Here at Pinnacle Port you have the best views; central location and easy access to everything a visitor could want; yet you are secluded in your private, secure, serene getaway, on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
If shopping is your passion, you no longer have to go 20 miles to the mall; Pier Park is the newest shopping and entertainment complex in Panama City Beach, and it's just 7 miles east, so it's easily accessible from our condo. There are lots of things to do there, from amusement park rides, to the butterfly house, theatres, restaurants, many fun local shops, and if you want, there is Dillards, Penneys, Target and WalMart. If nature is your pleasure, we are right next to Camp Helen State Park. If you love to ride bicycles, then its just a short drive to Hwy. 30A, where you will find quaint little towns and lots of bike rental shops and a 15 mile bike path that takes you through the towns.
If you want a night on the town, walk to Carillon Beach where the family can enjoy the concerts in the park as you sip on a martini or have a family dinner at the restaurant located at Carillon while enjoying the lake view and watch the sunset.
There is a small chapel on Carillon beach which has a non-denominational service each Sunday.
Whatever you like to do, this condo will put you close to the activities, or allow you relaxing down time from your busy schedule, and the view is incredible!
We have Wi-Fi in the unit and cable with a DVR so you won't miss any of your favorite shows while on vacation. Our unit also has upgraded high def TV stations.
As of May 1, 2024, Pinnacle Port has a parking fee of $35, which will be sent as a separate billing.

The condo and location is fantastic! We love staying at the West end because it is much quieter and peaceful. The room was as described/pictured and the owners were so nice and easy to communicate with. There were extra chairs and umbrellas, board games, a volleyball, beach towels. Things that some owners don’t have that just made the trip easier-even storage containers for left overs after cooking. We really loved having a dedicated parking spot right under the unit. Very convenient! We will definitely being staying in this unit again. Thanks for letting us stay-we had a great trip!

Loved the gated community and the fact it was a quite area. Loved the pool and being so close to the beach. Also, enjoyed the starfish grill at the pool.

This is our second time staying at Pinnacle Port, our first time in this particular condo, everything was perfect! The condo is typical..it was clean, amazing views, perfect size for our family of 4. I thought the beds were too hard but I generally do almost everywhere I go, so don’t let that stop you, if you are the same as me bring a mattress topper and you’ll be good to go!

Great beach front location.
Second time at this property. Communication with manager was simple. Everything was good with the stay. Thank you.

Perfect location for family
The property has an easy beach access area and the condo has the best reserved parking directly under the unit making it super easy for families with littles or individuals who don’t want to walk far. We enjoyed the bedrooms being upstairs and the remainder of the condo being downstairs for after the kiddo went to bed. The stairs are pretty steep for littles though so just make sure you are watching them closely. We walked over to the docks to fish daily. It’s a very short drive to Rosemary beach or Seaside.

Great location for families.
Very convenient location especially for my family with small children. Steps from the beach with convenient, covered parking and only one flight of stairs. No waiting for elevators. Highly recommended.

Panhandle perfect
Stayed during the month of February while my neighbors back in OH dealt with sub freezing temperatures. Very nice condo with amazing views of the Gulf, especially the sunset - simply stunning. The condo building itself is a bit dated but it's obvious the owners have taken great care of it. Even though the weather was still chilly, the unit had everything we would need for the beach - chairs, towels, coolers, umbrellas. We spent most of our days walking the beach, which was quite secluded and absolutely beautiful or on the terrace enjoying the afternoon sun. Restaurants and grocery stores are super close. Great place and thank you for letting us stay at the condo! Would definitely return if possible

Only steps to the beach; private parking spot right below the unit. Sheila was terrific to deal with. Would definitely stay again. Only a few miles to about every kind of shopping and eating place imaginable..

Just ok
When arriving we found a dining room chair that was not usable so I contacted the owner, then found the master bathroom toilet cracked, garbage disposal did not work, both showers kept getting hotter without adjusting the temperature and the dryer ruined some of clothes, snagged and rips so not really the condo I was expecting also don’t expect to get a true workout in that fitness room is a joke!
3.0
Condo smells terrible and so does the entire rest of the building.
Parking was convenient, but as you walked up the stairs and to the door that leads to the hallway and open the door you’re greeted with the awful smell of cat urine. Once we opened the front door to the condo the smell of mold and old cigarette smoke hit us in the face as well. Luckily we were in town for baseball and only were there to sleep. There was mildew in the grout in both showers and I discovered a water leak from the a/c unit in the closest behind the front door, which was probably where the mold/mildew smell was coming from. Ultimately we ended up staying with other folks while we were down there and only to return for laundry, showers and sleep then get out ASAP so we didn’t have to smell the place. Didn’t bother reaching out to the owners because there’s nothing they could’ve done that we didn’t see or already had to deal with once we got there. Overall we won’t ever stay Pinnacle Port again.

Just as advertised!
Our stay at this location was a breath of fresh air. The location and view is fantastic. We were there off season, so the snack bar and outside pool was closed but we really didn't miss them. After all, a few steps further and you are at the ocean's edge! I loved my daily walk on the beach and the beautiful sunsets. And the reserved parking space was right under the unit. The place itself has everything you may need for your stay. Both Publix and Winn Dixie are less than a mile away and close enough to Pier Park to shop or dine out. There were a few drawbacks. The bathrooms weren't as clean as I would like to see (someone else's hairs were on the shower wall). Some of the finish work is off, like the hand towel rack kept falling off the wall, some of the light switches are installed upside down, and the shower curtain rod fell off when trying to put the liner inside the tub. The pillow cases for the extra pillows and sheets for the pull out couch were locked away, but the owner had someone come out right away and get them out for us. I would like to mention that communication with the owner was excellent and they were very responsive. All in all, I would definitely like to stay here again.

Great location!
We had a good time overall. I would recommend replacing the sofa. We had to buy a blow up mattress because the sofa bed was less than desirable. However, I’m sure it’s tough keeping everything in tip top shape. The beach chairs and umbrellas were a nice bonus! I’d stay here again! The location is perfect for spending beach time with the family.

Great stay despite COVID!
Check in was easy for us we had all the paperwork ready for the guard shack, thanks to the owners! There was an extremely long line of cars also checking in and it took forever just to get up to the guard shack but once we did everything went fast. We were told that it was due to people not having their paperwork filled out. The location of the condo was perfect being away from the craziness of Panama city beach but not too far from the stores and resturants. We also really liked the location of the unit. Since we went during the COVID pandemic it was really nice to not have to use the elevators. We were just a flight of stairs away from our parking space and to get to the beach. The covered reserved parking space was also really nice and very convenient. We would just leave our beach stuff by the car and no one seemed to bother it. When we arrived I couldn't find sheets for the pull out couch but I just called Shiela and she was wonderful in leading me to a set. The kitchen was very well stocked as we used it daily due to COVID. The only thing I was not impressed by was the pools. I have small children and both pools were really deep. They had a very very small shallow end which was always packed with other small children who couldn't touch either. We opted to just stick with the beach and skip the pools because of this, which bummed my kids out. The only other thing was, because the unit was on the end we had easy access to the beach. This was great because we never had to use the main entrance. The downfall was that there was no where to wash off the sand unless you used the main entrance. This wasn't that big of a deal and it never stopped us from going that way. Just brought up a lot more sand to have to sweep up. We did have issues a few days with people illegally parking right behind our parking spot making it a little difficult to pull out. I'm sure if we would have called the office they would have taken care of it. Overall our stay was fantastic and the owners were awesome and very easy to get a hold of! We were very sad to leave. COVID or no COVID we would definitely stay here again!

1st stay at Pinnacle Port
We were very pleased with our stay. The condo location is perfect for us. Way from all the BUSY of PCB but close enough we could still go and enjoy what we wanted. The condo itself was great. Perfect size for the 5 in my party. This 1st floor condo made our unloading and loading of the van super easy, access to beach right beside the stairs, private parking spot was AMAZING, grills right outside the parking spot and the view from living room balcony was awesome. We will be back for sure!!!
One afternoon my youngest son and I rented bikes from the poolside store and rode 20 miles!!! My oldest is a fisher and he really enjoyed the bay. It was so shallow in so many places that he and I actually walked from the old pier back to the docks through the water.
Also the Carillon Community you drive through to get to PP was BEAUTIFUL and offered a wonderful setting for morning walks, places to eat and a nice sized shop. Loved the gated security manned entrance for safety.
Only 2 neg things I can really think of...1. the water pressure in the condo was bad but it sounded like it was a building wide issue and a couple maintenance men said they were aware and working on it.

Good location, solid place
Place was stocked well and was an easy walk to the beach. Parking location is great. There is a reserved spot at the bottom of the stairs. Place is on the second floor, just up a flight of stairs. Good view of the beach from the deck.

Excellent week on the breach!
This end was great property. The only reason for the 4-star check-in was partly my fault because I didn't manage to get there before dark and it made it hard to find things. There is not much light in the parking lot. Once you know where everything is, it's not a problem.

Great location/ needs some attention
Great location, awesome views but unit needs attention. Over was terribly dirty, old dried and melted food on the doors and grids. I needed to wash all the utensils I used before using them, knives, forks, spoons, plates etc as they were not clean. Owner responded quickly but no actual action taken to remedy my concerns. 5 of us went to the unit but there are now only 4 chairs at the eating table, needed to use our cooler box as a seat whilst paying good money for the unit. We also paid towards cleaning costs yet needed to clean the units kitchen ourselves before using it - makes no sense. It was unfortunate as the unit is truly in a great position.

Fantastic view & resort!
We really enjoyed our stay ! The best feature is the view...it's fantastic! The balconies were great & the layout is good. The beach chairs were an extra nice touch.
The staff were all great and the pool/beach side cafe had excellent food & even better customer service !
We ate there several times, and our kids actually requested it!
So convenient.
The poolside movie was such fun!!!
Owner was easy to work with and quickly responded to any questions.
Overall an excellent place & we'd not hesitate to rent from this owner again.

We had a great time!
Great experience but felt it lacked cleanliness in the master bathroom. Shower curtain had mold on it. Downstairs bathroom was dirty and looked as though toilet had not been cleaned. My husband ended up cleaning it. Our overall experience was great. We loved being on the first floor and having our own parking spot. We didn’t have to wait for elevators Which was great.
