Location was a quick walk to everything
Bedroom a/c not blowing cold. Smoke alarm goes off for no reason. Front yard light not working, it gets very dark and hard to get to the front door. Generally, it's a nice cozy place for a quick getaway.

The location was good. It was within walking distance of most restaurants and shops in the beautiful town of Edgartown. There was a nice deck and backyard for my granddaughter to play.
We booked the property for three people . There was a nice bedroom with a queen size bed for two and we planned to used the sleeper sofa for the third. The sofa was old, faded and not in good shape. There were no linens provided for it. We found two Boston Red Socks quilts and that was it. We happened to have some cold nights and discovered that there was no operating heat in the front half of the unit. Only the bedroom was warm. It made our stay quite uncomfortable! Having had little sleep it made us annoyed at many smaller items that were wrong. There were only two towels and washcloths instead of three. One of the towel racks was torn from the wall, the toilet paper holder was broken. The galley kitchen had very equipment for cooking. Plates and eating utensils were adequate. When I opened windows for ventilation I noticed that the screens were old and did not fit the windows leaving large open gaps. Good thing it was not mosquito season! The unit has potential to be lovely but really needs some TLC and heating maintenance. We booked the unit for $200/night and at checkout had a $178 cleaning fee added to it along with an 18% grounds tax? Our two nights totaled $725. For that amount of money wet could have stayed at a beautiful beachside hotel! We wished that we had! I have never written a negative review before nor been so disappointed or uncomfortable during a stay. Please fix this place up before renting it again!
