It was very roomy and spacious for the family...kids enjoyed fishing off the pier...made the 9yr old birthday boy happy....loved everything BUT maybe upgrade the utensils and sharper knifes and newer cooking pans...other then that it was good..thank you

We really enjoyed the house. It is perfect for my son that is wheelchair bonded. Didn’t caught a lot of fish but that’s okay. Enjoy just having a piece of mind. We also had an unwanted guest a Gator that constantly keep eating the crab bait. We will be back.

Met the kids and grandkids for a week long getaway :) The house was set up perfect. The kitchen was made to be cooked in :) while still being able to visit with everyone. Patio and dock were great…minus the mosquitos. We caught 4 huge redfish in the surf, all right at 42”. We can’t wait to do it all again.

We all had a terrific weekend at Big Fish Haus. The fish were biting really well but mostly small ones. And that’s OK cause they’re fine too. Kids had a little swimming pool and a duck wattled over and got in the pool with one of the little girls. It was great.

Fishing was good, everyone caught something, mangrove, croakers and drum. Even caught 2 crabs which we let go. Clean and very quiet which we really enjoyed. Thank you very much and would love to do it again soon.

It's perfect for us, with one exception. House rules forbid frying fish in the house. Lovely decorated home; roomy; good TV reception. Fish & crab off the pier.

We stayed here a couple of daya with our family of 11. It was great! We were here for a funeral, but we had time to enjoy the amenities. We caught several big fish and had two great meals at the rental. Very clean and well appointed. We will be back.

Great house for the family. Plenty of space so you're not jumping into each other. Everything you need to prepare meals and games for the kids. The dock is great too. Will definitely stay again.

This property exceeded our expectations!!! They have had a couple upgrades since the listing photos. The outdoor fire place is amazing. The whole place is amazing!! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some!!! We got to relax and recoup, which is the name of the game.

Caught 14 crabs in only a few hours - Twice! Also caught Sand Trout, Croakers, Mangrove Snapper (not counting the undersized Flounder & Redfish we couldn't keep). Kept up with business on my laptop from the kitchen table with a beautiful view of the water each morning. Peaceful getaway in lovely surroundings. Spacious kitchen. Appliances & guest needs are superior. Good beds & comfy den. Big TV's. Good Wi-Fi. Decor & view are amazing! We were welcomed with a vase of fresh baby's breath flowers when we arrived. Stayed a week. No grocery stores nearby, so bring your own produce & meat products. Owner VERY responsive to questions & needs. Best rental ever! We will be back!

The property was well maintained. We loved the spacious house and how we were able to accommodate my disabled father-in-law. The neighborhood was quiet. We loved being able to bring the dog! He is family too after all. The owner was quick to answer any emails, and even replaced the coffee pot for us within 2 days! They sprayed for mosquitos, mowed the lawn, and provided trash service. It was very nice having the pavilion and dock out back. We caught several speckled and sand trout, plenty of bait, and even an alligator gar! It was nice being close to the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of surfside. Would definitely recommend the area of Sargent and Caney Creek to everyone! The neighbors were also very friendly.

Very nice and spacious house! We loved it! We were able to relax ,have fun, and fish! There were many things you could do in the water. Play set for kids to play on. Access to the Dollar store which was very convenient. We would love to return in the future

Everybody had an awesome time.. The place had plenty space for all of us,the kids enjoyed having their own space . Outside space was great, fire pit came handy. Guys didn’t catch no fish but they sure did enjoyed the time spent out there. Definitely recommend the place🥰

Great big house & I would like to come back but I could never. It was hard to keep in contact with the owner. We had no ac for 13 hours and the owner didn’t care to reach out to me to let me know any updates, the ac man did. I’ve tried reaching out to the owner several of times and no response. My family and I had to be outside all day along with my 5 month old baby who was hot as well…… This is a great house but owner sucks at communication skills.

Beautiful property! My extended family and myself rented 2 homes in the area for my dad’s celebration of life. We had a last minute change of venue and our host Brian was extremely accommodating and kind! The kitchen is beautifully updated and very large. It made it so nice to prepare meals for multiple families. The back patio and yard were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the dock, sitting in the covered area in the day and roasting marshmallows in the large fire pit at night. The swing set was great for the young kids and plenty of lawn for the older kits to throw a ball around. Sleeping accommodations were wonderful and very comfortable! I cannot thank Brian enough for allowing us to stay in this beautiful home! It made our send off for my dad absolutely perfect!

Second time staying here for our annual family fishing trip. It's big enough for everyone (8 adults and 3 kids) to fit comfortably and even have extra space The kitchen is AMAZING! Great place to bring small kids. We caught a lot of fish and had an overall perfect family getaway.

House fit our needs at a time when we just needed to get away and relax. Peaceful place on the creek. Wish somewhere in the description it would have stated the two stairs to get into the kitchen part of the house since we have bad knees. But overall we had a great time.

The house was spacious, great kitchen, but we spent most of our time in the large yard or deck which is perfect for family gathering. Only negative and it is minor, board on pier needs to be reattached, several people tripped on it.

Loved the location - kitchen is amazing...nice and large and well equipped! Everything you need to cook for a larger group. We had a great time but unfortunately the dryer broke a few days into our stay. We were told someone would come to fix it and it turned out to the property manager, who just unplugged it and said they would order a new one. She brought us a clothesline and pins. All good and well, but it rained for days and we had soggy, fishy clothes with no dryer. Doesn’t work well with kids and there is no laundry mat anywhere nearby. Part of our family ended up leaving several days early. Disappointing. Would have appreciated at least a repair company looking instead of not having a dryer at all. Owners are slow to respond to text messages. Next time we will bring tons of extra clothes and towels!

Beautiful home and very spacious. Not far from the beach. Caught lots of sand trout and croaker from the fishing pier. The kids had fun in the back yard. Only complaint is that the A/C breaker tripped out multiple times during our second night and it started to get hot. I would definitely stay at this house again.
