About this house rental

This house is a 1600 SF home that was renovated in 2020. The neighborhood is considered upscale and was built in the 80''s. There are no through streets so there is no loud noise or traffic.

This home is located 3 miles from Ft Walton Beaches and 7 miles to both Destin and Navarre Beach. I do live across the street should any problems arise. There are security cameras on only on the front of the home and the home has a monitored smoke/fire/weather alarm.
The back porch is very private with 8 ft privacy fences on both sides and trees/shrubs on the back fence. There is a TV on the back porch in the event you want to have a movie night. A permanently mounted propane grill is on the patio for cooking. (I furnish the propane)

Off the living room is a work are with a desk and side table if you bring a printer or other equipment.

This home is very clean and neat. This is a great place to spend with your family to enjoy our beaches and what the area has to offer. Instead of retiring for the evening in a crowded hotel/condo you can relax in a house . If you have any questions regarding this property please send me a message.

This should be the blueprint for anyone looking to have their own VRBO, they should stay here first and see how it is done. Every attention to detail is made. Items were not the most generic purchased, everything was top quality. Furniture was great, not flimsy cheap stuff, you really felt like you were staying in a Home and not a house if that makes sense. I would stay again for sure!

Thank you Elaine for a wonderful stay. We were right at home. The dogs loved the fenced in backyard. We had everything we needed and more in the house. Our host was so accommodating, from special snacks to lots of DVDs and games. TVs in every room, nice furniture and safe neighborhood. Close to restaurants and beaches. Our host was available to answer all our questions. House was very clean and updated.

Love this property. Quiet clean shower was phenomenal. The bed was excellent. The yard was awesome for the dogs. They loved it! It also has a 8-ft privacy fence so you feel like you're on a deserted island. Can't wait to come back! Thank you for having us

The house was absolutely wonderful. Elaine was an incredible host. Our favorite part was spending the evenings on the screened in back porch watching movies as the sun went down. Elaine left us with some food menu's in our check in book with some awesome suggestions. She was also super helpful in answering any of our qeustions or conserns. The house was very clean and the property very well maintained. All in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back soon to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Elaine had everything set up and ready to go from day 1. We really didn't need to bring anything but our clothes lol. She absolutely made us feel comfortable. That's that southern hospitality!!!! The house was very spacious and looked just like the pictures provided! Our kids and dog enjoyed the back patio the most! When we return to Ft. Mine and my husbands stay at Elaine’s home was absolutely perfect in every way! She met us in the driveway when we first got there and showed us around the house and told us about some restaurants nearby that we could try and that she recommended! The house was completely stocked with anything and everything you could ever need! And if you didn’t have something you needed, Elaine was just a quick message or call away! It was an absolutely beautiful home located in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were super comfy and warm, but my favorite was the gray recliner in the living room with the striped blanket! So comfy! There was nothing like curling up in front of the TV on the recliners under the blankets after a long day of being at the beach or shopping all around! There were also plenty of beach toys that you could use, as well as small things around the house you could use! Elaine really thought of everything! I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend anyone stay here that wants the comforts of home away from home while being super close to beaches, stores, restaurants, etc! I would absolutely stay here again and will be telling all of my family and friends about it! Thank you Elaine for being such an awesome host and for opening your house to us! We will definitely be back in the future!

The house was clean and extremely comfortable. Recliners are kinda essential for us to rest comfortably, and there were two! Everything was spotless and the host provided all the essentials and beyond. Elaine was absolutely gracious and suggested restaurants and other info that enhanced our visit. Excellent place to spend a week in Florida.

This home was amazing for our family as my kids and I joined my husband while he was at Hurlburt for month of training. Super convenient location to base, beaches, and restaurants. We couldn't be happier with this VRBO property. The house was clean and well-stocked. Elaine was prompt with all communications from the very beginning, and made sure we had everything we needed. It was nice to be able to park in the garage and the back porch is wonderful...perfect for game time! The kitchen had everything I needed to make our daily meals. The location of the house is perfect. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area visiting family.

The house is perfect for a family of 4. Very Clean and the back patio is nice to hang out. 10 min drive to the beach. Pretty good restaurants close by. Mall close by also. We didn’t visit the mall. Elaine the property owner is very easy to reach and she’s very accommodating.

Let me start of by saying I would definitely stay here again. The owners are very courteous and respectful and go the extra step to make you feel welcome. Upon arrival, we found a board welcoming each of us by name, which the kids really enjoyed. The addition of the makings for s’mores in the outdoor fire pit really set the tone. There were also beach towels, board games, movies, outdoor games, beach chairs, … plenty to make our stay extra fun. Our vacation ended up with plenty of time at the beach and evenings hanging out in the screened in porch playing games. Communication with the owners throughout the entire process was easy and they were always quick to respond via text or phone from the time of booking all the way through with any questions we had. The beds were comfortable, showers had plenty of water pressure, and everything was clean and spacious.

This house was in a quiet, central location. We were within a few blocks of shopping, and centrally located to both Navarre Beach and Okaloosa Island. Everything was clean and well organized, and the owner had stocked the home with extras that we may need throughout our stay, such as firewood/starter, snacks, hand sanitizer, beach towels and beach chairs. Toiletries were also provided. I am only mentioning this as I nearly let a previous review sway my decision to book. The owner does live across the street, but I never felt uncomfortable. In fact, the opposite. Our stay included a couple of interferences from Mother Nature, and she was quick to alert us to any potential issues. It helped to ease my mind, as I was traveling solo with my kids and a few of their friends. We hope to visit again soon!
