The property was just as it was advertised. We were in Suncadia for a family reunion. The house was very comfortable and give us a good place to rest between activities.

The photos on the VRBO site do not do this home justice. It was way more impressive in person. We enjoyed it so much. Great kitchen and dining area. We wished the back deck had been bigger. People loved to congregate out there in the morning and evening. We loved the dining room table and bench sitting. You could squeeze lots of little bums on the benches. We wished there had been more of a yard to play games. If you have more people than the beds accommodate (little ones) there are foam mattresses, but you need to bring your own blankets as there were not many extras other than those already on the beds. There are 2 keys in the lock box but only what that opened the front door. The other key was a mystery as to what it unlocked, so only 1 house key. If you are splitting up and will be coming back home in separate groups, you will be fine as long as everyone knows the lock box code. Just make sure you leave the correct key in the box. The host was pretty responsive to questions for the most part. Excellent stay. Excellent location. Excellent home.

We all had fun even without much snow. It is a very nice house with a well stocked kitchen and nice appliances. We had a full house and bought an extra table and chairs so we would all have a place to sit together for meals. The sleeping arrangements worked well. The fold out bed and mats were very comfortable The grandkids really enjoyed the games that were there and we had brought art supplies (and a plastic tablecloth.) The swimming pool looked great but unfortunately it is not available for VRBO renters. We took them to the Indoor Game Room at the Lodge and that kept them entertained for a couple of hours. ($20 per child, adults are free) They have a cornhole game but I didn’t see a good place to set it up (maybe in the garage would have worked if it wasn't cold) but another energy burning game like foosball or air hockey would have been nice.
We'd love to come back next year!

We loved the house. We spent 3 days to meet New Years at the house and this was our second time doing this, since 2019.
The place is spacious, warm, cozy, and has everything you need to be comfortable.
We recommend the house for big group or family, who wants to spend great time in Sancadia.

There was a lot of space for us all. The basement was great for the kiddos to hang out and there was plenty of bedding for everyone. The kitchen was well appointed and a great washer/dryer. Everything was lovely! Thank you so much!

It was a perfect home for our family who was attending a wedding at Swiftwater Cellars. It was clean and perfectly furnished to accommodate our adult family members. The cellar is walking distance which made it convenient to us.

Had a bit of trouble getting the lock box to open, but after speaking with the property manager, she was able to talk me through its quirks. The house was beautiful, clean and very roomy. Everything was as stated in the listing. My family had a wonderful time staying together and we had plenty of room.

Great property

We fully enjoyed our stay. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining, and living areas were spacious and accurately described in the listing. Easy check in. Only problem was trying to get the main downstairs television to work (we never figured it out- the remote didn't work).

The house itself is beautiful but there is almost zero decor-felt very cold & empty. The master suite bed is very high off the ground with no step. This is dangerous, had to jump to get out & climb to get in.There was no toilet paper in the master bath - had to go hunting for it. There were mugs in the cupboard with coffee stuck on the bottom & food stuck on the drainer in the kitchen sink.

Home was perfect for our group! Great layout for a couple of families to get together. We enjoyed the short walk to swift cellars.

We were thoroughly impressed with this property. We had a large group, and I was concerned that the size of the house would still not be big enough. The gathering spaces were large, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was huge, and it was perfect for our group. I highly recommend staying at this property. Not only was this a more affordable stay, it was close to Dawson Park and the winery.

The home was beautiful and spacious. Enjoyed the quiet with all the wildlife. The home provided us with anything we may need which qas appreciated. The owner was in constant contact with me with any questions I had which was truly appriciated.

A perfect place for our four families to come together for a long overdue family reunion. One blip, left over garbage from previous guest, was insignificant. We suggest some attention to the top rung in the bunk bed which might require an additional screw or two for added security.

We had a wonderful time. The home is lovely. Roomy but with a very cozy feel. We never felt like we were on top of each other. It was also well-appointed with comfy beds and seemed well cleaned.

We spent a great time with family and friends! the kitchen intervened us perfectly, the children enjoyed playing games in front of the fireplace, very cozy! thanks to Tina for her kindness and quick answers to our questions. The main disadvantage is the photos on the site, they do not show the dignity of the house at all, it is advisable to update them, because when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at what a cozy and beautiful house! highly recommended!

My husband and I, our two children and their spouses, and our four grandchildren stayed for four days in Suncadia, a couple days after Christmas. The house has three levels, so there is plenty of room for everyone. There was a Christmas tree in the house, which was a nice touch, and was wonderful for our second holiday celebration. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

We had a group made up of two related families. 4 parents, 4 cousins, 2 friends and a granddaughter staying here for a wedding that took place at Swiftwater Cellars. Fantastic home for our group. Fantastic location for walking to the venue. Lots to do … hiking, biking, wine tasting, golf and nice play ground very close by. Would definitely stay again!

This property was a great location. Parking was a little tight. Also there was still laundry finishing in the dryer when we checked in. Everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a small family reunion and booked this property for 16 of us (ten adults, six children). It was clean, spacious, beautiful, and suited our group well. Plenty of areas to gather for meals, board games, conversation, and good old R&R. The showers were hot, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with just about any utensil or cookware you could want. All the furniture is incredibly well built and sturdy, and the tiled dual shower in the master is huge and beautiful. The bottom floor (daylight basement) runs about 20 degrees cooler than the top floor, so choose your bedroom according to whether you like to sleep warm and cozy, or cool and breezy. Thank you for providing a wonderful vacation rental for us to enjoy.

Family wedding weekend
The place was perfect for our family coming for our daughters wedding. We had three other siblings with young kids and an uncle. Plenty of bedrooms and space. The main level was open with a huge kitchen. Kitchen had lots of plates, glasses and silverware. A few minor issues were quickly resolved with property manager. Loved our stay!!!

We rented the house for a family wedding that was held at swiftwater Cellars
The location was a short walk to Swiftwater. Great house for a family. The aero bed had holes in it so that didn’t work and the toilet seat was broke in the bathroom by the kitchen. Other than that everything was great.
We would definitely rent again.

Family wedding reception
Beautiful home, owner easy to work with. Certain things missing though. No can opener, curtain missing in a bedroom, tv remotes needed batteries.

A great spot for a golf trip! Walking distance from rope rider. Well maintained and great communication with the property management. Highly recommended

Great central location and spacious for relaxing and play
We are 3 families that came together for outdoor adventure and indoor games and dining together in the house and it all workout great. Property is near trails that will get you to anywhere in the resort. Resort has great events going on (at the farm there were many games, bouncy houses, archery, ax throwing and more!). We hiked the “1.000” steps down and up to the river and walked a trail down by the river. House was well prepared (per other comments the pans are good, but on smaller side) and just missing a can opener which will hopefully be rectified and a couple of small items to fix (a blind, twin fold out bed). Parking for 4 cars was tight (street parking not allowed?) but it worked. Having an electric lock would be handier for big groups but not required since there is a lock box. Best part is there is lots of space for kids to have fun downstairs and tons of living space upstairs to chill.

Black Nugget is a GEM!
My son (the groom) and his Groomsmen all really enjoyed the house. They were able to walk about 100 yards to Swiftwater Cellars were the Wedding was held. VERY convenient! Loved the houses tri-level design. We really appreciated the peace and quite, and the wildlife. Great communication from the property manager. A great place to stay!

Best weekend.
I knew the area a little since i stayed for a long weekend 4 yrs earlier for a wedding. The house is gorgeous and located perfectly for my family to all meet in the middle of where we live. The house had plenty of beds for sleeping. The kitchen, dining room and living room were a great setting that we could all sit around and talk while meal prepping. Easy check in process. I have Zero complaints and hope to rent the place a year from now.

Nice location
This house is big but very basic. You’ll want to bring extra blankets, paper towels and garbage bags. A lot of the pans Teflon was coming off and pretty gross with very little options for descent cooking utensils. They did provide all the keurig coffee tho, which was so nice. Garbage in the garage was full when we got there, but they did drop off extra garbage bags for us Sunday sometime at the front door. There was also some minor damage to the house when we showed up for example: downstairs bedroom door coming off the hinges, trim unattached and sticking out on the kitchen island, chipped granite around the inside lip of the sink and so on. No real check out instructions, except to put the key back. Location was great. It’s about an 8 minute walk to the lodge and gift shop. Just a heads up, no living room TV and we did have trouble keeping the downstairs warm. We enjoyed ourselves!

Quick walk to ice skating and restaurants
Stayed over Christmas with the extended family. Great location, nice house. They do offer parking I. The garage, though I will say that if you have a long truck/vehicle, it will not fit. The kids played for hours in the snow and we walked to the skating rink with the kids. I’m not sure if we were simply doing something wrong, but the bottom floor and top floor were freezing. We had our baby in the pack n play and she woke up a lot with freezing little fingers. Downstairs we watched holiday movies snuggled on the couch, but again, very cold. We did have a great time in spite of being chilly, but maybe bring some warmer lounge clothes to be sure,
