About this apartment rental

This is one of six private condos that are located directly on Bradenton Beach. The beach is just a few shorts steps away from your front door. The unit has been recently updated with new kitchen appliances and new bedding and furniture.
The unit is next to the small 8x20 heated pool. Two chase lounges are provided for your sun bathing enjoyment, as well as patio furniture consisting of a table and 4 chairs.
This is a seat alone unit and more like a small chalet than a condo/apt. with high Cathedral ceilings and central AC/Heat. It DOES NOT allow you to see the beach from inside the unit, but you might get a glimpse of the beach from your outside seating area
There is also a large shared BBQ/patio with a charcoal and a gas grill for your cooking enjoyment. Charcoal and fuel are NOT PROVIDED. There is a gas exchange tank available if you prefer to use the gas grill.You do not need to cross the street or leave our premises to get to the beach. There is parking for ONLY ONE CAR. Everything you need for a perfect beach vacation!!

This property is in a phenomenal location. Over all we had a great stay. The photos versus the actual unit we stayed in didn’t meet expectations. We thought we would have had one of the doors that faces the ocean. However, we still had a great time.

Lovely location for family of 4 with children under 7. The property was clean and cozy for our family. We had everything to start the vacation and we were located close to multiple stores to get anything we may want. The few downsides was the smell piping into the listing but we fixed this with a moisture absorber and a candle. The sheets and pillows were not the best but the kids loved the sofa bed. Thank you for a great vacation!

Enjoyable stay. However upon opening the front door we were greeted with a musty moldy smell. Upon further inspection the dishwasher when opened had an awful bad order emoting from the drain. My wife has asthma and allergies. This was a trigger to her asthma.

I loved the place, literally in front of the beach. Very clean and well stocked. A small problem with the space in the parking lot but it was solved immediately. The sofa bed a bit uncomfortable.

Pictures are not correct. Furniture pictured is not what to expect. Our first couple days we encountered many issues. Broken garbage disposal, clogged toilet, broken thermostat, door blinds broken, pots and pans were all scratched up. The air filter was replaced and was completely black. We couldn't lock the door for over 4 hours due someone resetting it. Also, we had to go to Wal Mart and purchase room darkening curtains and a shower pole for the bedroom due to the bright light on the "pool". This "chalet" is on the main drag. Very noisy. Found it strange that there is no guest book to refer to. We left a week early.

If you are looking for brand new and fancy this is not it! If you want clean, comfortable right next to a beautiful beach then this is it. It works great for two people. Located on a busy street, but did I say close to the beach? Not beach views, but worth it to be able to step into AC at any time! Private small shaded patio & responsive owner too.

I loved where the rental was located. Just steps to the beach. It was just two of us and it was perfect. Maybe too small if you had more than 3 staying. Parking was tight but other than that I would recommend this place.

This property is all about location and value. Very affordable place right on the beach. No view from the unit and not super luxurious, but again priced accordingly. If you are about spending time on the beach and just want a clean, comfortable and affordable place to sleep right on the beach, this is the place for you!

My stay was absolutely wonderful. The location is so close to the beach and ocean. Even though my unit was on the street side it was quiet and peaceful. NO problems sleeping. There are units facing the ocean. The unit was very clean and easy access in and out. I would recommend this location to family and friends.

Expecting much less for the reasonable price, we were pleasantly surprised by this rental. It was very clean, quiet, the beds comfortable (the futon has been replaced by a very nice sleeper couch), the bathroom large, and the kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed. The location is amazing- literally steps to the beach and this part of the beach is not crowded at all due to it's location on the island. Getting an uber was very slow (there were none on the island and they came over from Sarasota). I'd recommend renting bikes to get around the island. The unit is small, but we had plenty of space for 2 moms and 2 teen girls. Only down side was the early check out and no place to store our luggage, but we worked around that by ubering to Bradenton, renting a car and spending the day kayaking and exploring the Sarasota area before our evening flight home.

Love the short walk to the beach snd enjoyed the privacy of unit 6 but i suggests that tenants respect the parking of other tenants as the parking space is very small where i had to park my car in the guest parking.

Our short vacation was excellent! Our room was very clean and just right for the two of us. My only complaint is the tight parking- we had a small car so we parked on Gulf Drive. We will hopefully rent again!

My wife and I spent a week at this apartment in October, 2016. We selected this location due to the fact that my wife is confined to a wheelchair and most of the places that we contacted on Anna Maria Island did not have wheelchair-accessible accommodations. To that end, we are very grateful to Frank Gomez for having this facility. The interior of the apartment was indeed wheelchair-accessible, including the bathroom and shower. The shower did not have a shower bench, but did have one grab bar. The apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable, but the overall feeling was of an older apartment. There was no view to speak of. The front door looks out into a small patio, behind which is the parking lot. This particular apartment is right next to Gulf Blvd, which is actually a rather busy road all week long. We were in the unit furthest from the beach with no view of the ocean. The beach does start at the rear of the apartment building, so tenants in the back have ocean views. The pool mentioned in the ad was only about as big as an oversized Jacuzzi and it had no view of anything except the parking lot. Not the most romantic place to hang out on a hot Florida night. The parking lot was hard-packed sand which would have made it a little difficult if someone needed to be in a wheelchair negotiating it. I carried my wife's chair across the sand to the apartment entrance to keep it from getting too sandy and then escorted her to the chair each time. There were no wheelchair accessible parking spaces. Luckily for us, the lot was not crowded that week or it might have been difficult for my wife. The access to the apartment was OK for a wheelchair (after getting on the walkway or the patio in front of this apartment). Overall, the apartment was what we needed, and as I mentioned, I am grateful to Frank for that. Thanks Frank!

Our experience was excellent! The area is completely non commercial and the general vibe is great. The property is well placed and kept very clean. Owner is very responsive and his representative was very attentive. We came in after major storm and they tried very hard to make our stay outstanding. I highly recommend this property. -Rudy

Owner is responsive to problems and follows up. Unit itself is roomy and main room feels spacious. Beware of undersized fitted sheets on the bed coming loose at night. Bring your own hair dryer . Listing is misleading: unit is NOT ocean view beachfront. In the pictures, this unit is in the peaked roof building by the street, not the building by the beach. Wifi is acceptable in this unit. Nearly all of the south half of Anna Maria Island has terrible Verizon cellular service, including inside this unit. Listing at the time of our booking said there was a dishwasher – there was none – listing has been changed. We also stayed in another unit in this complex – see our review of VRBO #552217. Recommendation – do not stay here if beach view, dishwasher, and cellular coverage are important.
