About this apartment rental

**** Resort Amenities, Pools and Sea Wall Reconstruction Update ****
The resort experienced damage to the pool deck, Tiki Bar, pools and sea wall during Hurricanes Ian and Nicole in November of 2022. At this time, the fitness center, indoor pools, indoor jacuzzis, and the north and south outdoor pool and deck area have been CLOSED by the resort management until further notice. The south pool, children’s pool and tiki bar are still all undergoing repairs and renovations and are also CLOSED. Access to the beaches is open on the north side of the resort via public ramp and there are no issues enjoying the beaches. The parking garage is also undergoing renovation (not related to the storm) and are also CLOSED. There is parking available for guests on the surface lot just in front of the hotel (lobby entrance) and a secondary lot adjacent to the hotel. We are reimbursing guests for parking / share rides at Ocean Walk in the event there are issues with parking at the resort (usually this is only during peak season events). There are also some additional renovations and construction on the facility premises that may result in noise from the work at times. We do not have any schedule yet as to when repairs will be completed and amenities re-opened. We apologize for this inconvenience.

We really enjoyed this room. The host was quick to respond when I reached out them. My favorite part of the room is how big the bathroom was. It is perfect for a family of 3-4. The host has beach chairs and umbrella available for guest to use. This was helpful when we were traveling. I did notice boogie boards and some toys as well in the closet. The balcony, does open, and we were able to watch the July 4th fireworks from our room. We loved it.

Although the weather didn’t cooperate…we throughly enjoyed our stay. The room was as advertised and we were pleasantly surprised coffee was provided. There is a mall right across the street that has a Publix and many other stores and restaurants are close by. We hope, for those who live there, the remaining hurricane damages are fixed soon. It is a very lovely beach and area. We will be back to Daytona again! 🤗

For the room itself, there were few issues: Couldn't open balcony door; only 1 tissue in the box; lamp didn't work; pull out couch bed was broken (luckily my kids were small and could sleep on the other end. For the resort itself, incredibly deceiving. Only 1 outdoor pool and indoor pool open. Tiki bar closed, kids pool closed. Hurricane damage that site doesn't mention nor does the property owner. No easy access to parking lot or beach. Just wish I had known this before booking. Won't be staying here again for the price. Definitely feel a bit cheated.

We stayed here for a week and even with storm damage the beach is just steps away. We were able to do Disney as well a couple days and bed was amazing after a long day. So many great restaurants close by as well across the street from a Walgreens and publix. Would definitely stay here and will be back.

I took my three kids (9,6, and 2) for a couple of days at the beach. We loved that we could walk straight through the pool area down to the beach. The kids pool was great for my littlest guy. They have a little arcade downstairs that the boys had fun playing in. I got myself and my friend a delicious drink from the pool bar to enjoy on the beach. The room was a little small, but had almost everything we needed. It said they provided beach towels, but I couldn't find any, which was fine because we brought a couple of our own. Good location, good price. Nice little vacation overall.

The owners were very accommodating when we needed to change weekends. Lucky for us the room was still available. They messaged when the room was ready since it was ready early. The view wasn’t quite what we expected, but was still nice especially for the price. We would definitely stay again, and recommend it to friends. We especially loved the fact there were beach toys and other items free to use in the room.

We loved the location this was at , we may ha e not had an ocean front view but still had a beautiful view of the ocean. Loved all the beach toys that were provided , every morning my little one was ready to build a sand castle ! The room has everythingggg you need to cook a great dinner , that was also a huge plus ! Will definitely stay here again ! I know the host are available if you need them , but the room was perfect with a binder of explanation so we never had to reach out to Bert. Thank you for that !

We had a great stay at this condo. For the price, it was a good value. The balcony was very narrow but the view of the ocean was nice! Great pool areas and tiki bar. Workers at the tiki bar were helpful with tips of what to see in the area and which restaurants to hit. Great that so many necessities were included, like beach chairs, umbrella, many toiletries, etc. Also nice to have free WiFi and free parking and not pay a daily resort fee like you would when booking a hotel.

The condo is good if you are with your family because the owners provided everything from toys to the kitchen supplies but at the same time, there was no room service which was not advertised. Whereas a resort's name is being used so people think they are getting a room in it but that is not the case because it is a private rental like you would rent from a private owner. There was no WIFI throughout our one week's stay and when we asked the owner they would just tell us that they have no control over it since they are using the resort's network. The room was very small that you would be stepping on each other if you have kids. At least you would get to enjoy the resort's pool etc which was nice. In terms of Daytona beach, it was dead because there was nothing to do except the beach. There were no cars shows or exotic cars that we were hoping to see. There was nothing to do there because it was the countryside and a lot of unfinished constructions sites. Our Virginia beach is much better because it is very tourist friendly and the locals are really really nice. The locals were not welcoming in Daytona either and you would feel like that tourism is not welcomed there. It is a convenient location if you want to visit Orlando etc.
