This charming beach getaway is just a 100-yard stroll to the sand, and it comes with all the beach toys, including surfboards, body boards, chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc. Plus, it is uniquely positioned just steps away from our 3.5 mile beach trail. No more loading the car with beach gear, and no more renting equipment and searching for a parking space, ‘cause you are at the beach! After a beach day, enjoy a cocktail on your deck, or soak in the hot tub on the patio. From here, it’s also an easy 10-minute walk to Fisherman’s restaurant in the pier bowl area, or to T-street beach, or to San Clemente’s quaint downtown for shopping and restaurants. World-class surfing at Trestles and San-O is a 10-minute drive south.

My family had an absolutely amazing week and our accommodations couldn’t have been better. We used all of the water toys (surfboards, paddle boards, etc), the beds were super comfy and the hot tub was an end of the day must. We hope to be back and Bob was fantastic to work with.

Steps to sand and beach was a nice place to stay and conveniently located. Bob was easy to work with and very responsive. The house was aptly supplied with all the necessary amenities. If in the future we are in this area, I will definitely choose again.

The house and neighborhood were fantastic! Simple walk to the beach for my wife and three kids (5,7,9). The neighborhood was nice and quiet with a grocery store and many restaurants nearby. If want to enjoy a chill time at a beautiful beach that’s never crowded and don’t mind a few stairs then this place will be perfect. About 5 minutes walk to the beach from the house. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. This was our second time staying here and we would definitely stay again

We were in Cali for our son's graduation from Marine Sniper School and it was the perfect location and size. San Clemente is such a nice area and close to Camp Pendleton. This is really close to the beach and the pier but be ready for a huge hill down to the beach.
Loved the size of the house and all the aminities. Plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. Very nicely stocked kitchen. Hope to be able to come stay again when the weather is a little warmer.

This house is a gem! The outdoor patios are big and location is great - you can see the ocean from the front patio. San Clemente is a really cute town - and the path along the ocean is great for walking/running. There was an issue with the oven when we arrived but the landlord had someone there very quickly to remedy it. We will definitely be back.

What a great beach house! The location is amazing and the home has the perfect beach house vibe - clean and bright, not too fussy, a decent kitchen for cooking and a close walk to the beach. We visited with four college-age kids who spent most of their time on the beach and in the water. Plenty of good options for eating out and shopping.

This property is amazing! Extremely clean house with plenty of space for everyone! The location was wonderful, just steps from the beach and ocean. Lots of beach gear to use along with a hot tub in the back of the house! The owner was very responsive and helpful! Definitely a gem! We hope to come stay there again soon!

This home is in a perfect location to San Clemente, Dana Point and Laguna Beach. Beds were comfortable and the home was spacious. We enjoyed the deck in the early morning with a hot cup of coffee. We also used the beach chairs and sand toys and were able to enjoy the blue skies & low 60 temps! We loved that they still use DISH instead of making you watch everything off an app! Thanks again, Bob, and we hope to visit again.

Had a wonderful time, steps from the beach in San Clemente. House has great layout well appointed with everything you need. Owner was very responsive to questions. Quiet area yet close to beach and short walk to downtown. Summer or winter this is a great place to stay.

We chose that place because it had a jacuzzi. 2 hours before arrival we're told the jacuzzi was down and a part needed to be ordered. (never fixed) Also, apparently the jacuzzi guy had turned off the breaker for the kitchen. We got to mop up the floor when we got home one evening. All of the food we brought had been sitting with no refrigeration. I asked for some money back and got a $100. not happy.

Beautiful property. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. Very short walk to thebeach and the San Clemente pier. A view of the ocean from the front deck. If you’re there on Sunday morning check out the farmers market in Old San Clemente, also a short walk. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms worked out well for 3 couples. The host, Bob, was quick to respond to inquiries, friendly and professional.

So happy we found this gem in San Clemente! If you’re like me, I do read all reviews of a property before deciding. So hopefully this helps a future renter: Book This Place!! Beautiful, clean home with plenty of space for family of 5 (3 grown children) and everything you need. SO close to beach access which is great for individuals coming and going from the house. Yes, it is steep on the trail going down to the beach, but it’s a great workout on the way back up after a delicious treat from the ice cream shop near the pier! No need to pack up a car, find parking etc. Great trail for walking and San Clemente Pier is very cool. Ocean is a bit chilly for me, so having chairs and umbrellas was perfect for relaxing on the beach. Everyone else enjoyed the surf & boogie boards and had a great time. Hot tub was a great way to relax those surfing muscles. Anything you need (groceries, etc) is just minutes away. We also took a day trip to San Diego zoo. We wanted to take a ferry to Catalina Island, but they were completely booked. You’ll want to get those ahead of time. The owner is so quick to respond and very kind - thank you for sharing your home! We had a fabulous trip!!

No sleeping in here. Many neighborhood projects start the day off with a bang. Lots of them in fact. Luckily that gets you up and to the beach before the crowds, which don’t appear large during the workweek. A beach to yourself is peaceful, even if only for a short time.

My family had a very nice trip to San Clemente. The house does not have air conditioning so in August it was quite warm. Their are several nice fans to help but it was too warm for us. Also the house has wonderful access to the San Clemente beach walking trail. There is not a beach directly at Mariposa access point instead there are rocks there. To access the beach it’s a long walk or a short drive to Linda Lane access point. It is too far carrying everything for the beach to walk for my family so we drove. But we did enjoy going on walks on the beach trail and walking to dinner at the pier and at Avenida Victoria so that was wonderful.
The house is very nice but there are a few things that need upgrading. The shower heads need to be updated. The master bath is very small. The kitchen is well stocked but needs a new blender. The house has very nice TVs and the patios are lovely. The hot tub is a little old but well maintained. We also enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrella and coolers. The owner is very easy to communicate with and responsive. So we enjoyed our stay but wish there were a few updates to make it better.
