About this house rental

This bright and cozy house west of the 5 has everything you need to enjoy the city of Solana Beach. The backyard is fully fenced offering an area for your dogs to roam safely. It also has a large deck where you can enjoy watching the pretty sunsets.
Inside the home you will enjoy an open concept living space with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You enter the property through the front door leading you to the LR and Kitchen. To the far right, there is a small TV room with a sofa which can be used as a separate office. The laundry room is adjacent to this room. The house has one primary bedroom and two other bedrooms that share a small bathroom. Primary bedroom faces the front with a king bed, second bedroom faces the patio with a queen bed. Third bedroom has a queen bed with a glass sliding door which leads you to the backyard. Backyard is fully fenced but, on a hill, so there are steps in case you have older dogs.
From the LR and kitchen, you have a glass door that leads you into a patio where there is a small sitting area and a grill. A few steps ahead will lead you into a nice size, shaded deck where there is a dining table with built in benches.
The property will make your stay comfortable and convenient with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of fresh linens. House has a mini split wall unit in the LR that heats and cools the main area of the house. It does not have central air. House is equipped with fiber optic internet allowing faster internet speeds. There is one parking spot in the driveway and an additional spot below the driveway.

Our booking calendar is only open 9 months in advance to avoid early bookings that may cancel halfway through.

THINGS WE LOVE ABOUT THIS HOUSE:

*Home is cozy, well-kept and clean
* This is a house not a condo or townhouse.
* Small separate TV room adjacent to the LR has a desk. This room could be utilized as an office.
*Pretty ocean view from the back deck and partials from the LR.
*Quiet family cul-de-sac
*Modern and well-kept appliances, fresh linens, and clean space in general
*Beautifully landscaped and fenced back yard creating a wonderful area for kids and pets to roam safely.
*One cleaning included in your rental if you check pets (second week of your stay if you are
only staying 30 days)
*Easy access to many great restaurants, grocery stores and many other businesses without the traffic hassle other beach towns have. (Starbucks, CVS, Vons, and Sprouts
are less than a mile away)

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

*This home is in a quiet family neighborhood and suited for quieter mature groups. Families are welcome though.
*We personally manage and often stay at this home paying attention to every small detail.
*We are always adding touches and updating decor to make it better. Furniture in pictures might be slightly different.
* We prefer to book full months (from the 1st to the last of the month). Anything different is subject to review even through instant-booking.
*This property backyard backs on to a second home we built in the same lot. Both houses are fenced and completely independent from each other with separate entrances. Only shared area is the driveway.
*Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the property including outside areas.
*We are one of the few houses in Solana Beach that accepts dogs. We expect our tenants to keep up with pet hair and maintain a certain level of cleaning. Our pet rules are attached. Please make sure you read and understand them well.
* House has a mini split AC/Heat unit in the LR that cools the living area. Every BR has a ceiling fan.
*You are in a beach community where houses are close to each other, noise travels easy.
*Beach is about a 15/20 min. walk downhill
*We have an EV outlet. You will need to bring your own cord.

We've stayed at several rentals in San Diego area over the years and this one is on the top of the list! Melisa was so easy to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. The place was perfect for our month long stay. Our dogs had plenty of room for backyard fun while we enjoyed ocean views from the patio deck. Bonus ocean views from desk I worked at as well in office area that can be closed off from rest of house if you are having to work while you stay. Location was fantastic, diversity of paths for dog walks and easy to get to several great coffee and food locations. Driveway is a bit steep but you have an option of designated spots for 2 cars at the bottom of the short drive too so was no issue. We would definitely stay again!

This property was a perfect location and bungalow for my husband, myself and our dog. We wanted to spend the month near our daughter and her family. They live in Cardiff. The neighborhood is quiet but close, convenient and walkable to Cedros. We enjoyed the walking paths around the lagoon and Annie’s Canyon. The bike paths provided easy access to Cardiff and Encinitis. The home itself was clean, cozy and was well stocked.

We enjoyed the past month staying in this lovely home in Solana Beach. It was a perfect home for 2 couples, with 2 bathrooms and extra rooms that were a bonus for relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped and an easy space to work in. Although we had stormy weather during our visit, the house was always filled with natural light and offered a beautiful view of the sunset over the ocean at night. We used the barbecue most days and loved the sheltered area on the lower deck. On sunny days the upper deck provided a breezy, scenic view over the yard and reaching out to the seashore. The neighborhood is so quiet that you can hear the birds chirping in the morning. Chip was a pleasure to work with…thoughtful and responsive. We’d love to return!

My gf and I stayed at this beautiful house, along with our two small terriers for about six weeks. It couldn't have been better. The house is quiet, clean and well-appointed. Our morning walks to Fletcher Cove were a perfect work-out. In the evening we shared a drink watching he sun sink into the Pacific from the back yard. Communication was easy via text, and we were frankly blown away with the kitchen amenities and ample supply of towels and sheets. Yes, they thought of everything. Lastly, I appreciate having access to local tv and sports via YouTube TV, as this was during NFL playoffs. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation home away from home. Can't wait to stay again.

What an incredible spot! We did not want to leave. The hosts were incredible and accommodating, and we were even surprised with cookies from a local bakery when we arrived. It was helpful that the property was dog friendly as well. Just a short distance from the beach and downtown Solana Beach we walked to the beach almost every day! Can’t wait to stay here again

Very comfortable, well-equipped place with stunning views of the ocean and sunsets, especially from the pergola at the top of the terraced backyard (great spot for lunches/yoga/meditation too). Hosts were very attentive and quick to respond to and remedy the few minor issues that came up.

Beautiful home in Solana Beach with all the amenities! The Internet was great, which was important to me since I worked remotely during my stay and spend most of my days on video calls. The home was exceptionally clean with top of the line appliances. The view of the ocean from the elevated patio was a lovely place to enjoy coffee in the morning or a sunset dinner. Close to the beach, stores, freeway access, and restaurants without all the traffic you find in other coastal communities. The owners were fantastic. I will stay here again and again!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this home. The hosts provided everything we needed and more to enjoy our time in Solana Beach. The house was tastefully decorated as pictured and the outdoor seating area had an amazing view. Everything was clean upon arrival and we were even provided some hand sanitizer :) We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Solana Beach! The house was a perfect fit for our family of 5. It was sparkling clean and cozy, as the bedrooms were on the same floor and near each other. The decor was comfortable, yet elegant with a well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Our favorite part of the house was the back deck. It was situated on a higher level in the backyard, and the view of the ocean is so beautiful. We did yoga every morning on the deck, and it was so calm looking out to the ocean in the distance. The location of the rental was perfect, as there was plenty of shopping, restaurants, various services, retail, banks, etc. and the beach within walking distance. The owners were very communicative, friendly, and helpful--the best hosts! Thank you for a wonderful month!
