July visit
We loved our stay. Very peaceful and the cabin was nice and had what we needed.

Not quite as advertised
The place was quiet, clean, and a nice stay overall. It could use a bit of improvements though. The jets in the hot tub only worked on one side of it, and our first night it tripped the breaker and stopped working ten minutes into use. It timed itself out and wouldn't work after about an hour the second night. The grill was really old and could stand to be replaced.
The large remote to try to switch modes on the T.V. did not work. The wifi password in the packet was not accurate, however the one written in the cabin folder was correct. There were no bins for recycling or compost, so we just assumed all trash was Alabama-style and they must just be throwing it all into the garbage can. When we took the trash across the street upon exit to the dumpster, everything needed to be separated into recycling and compost over there. Not wanting to sift through our own garbage there in the parking lot, we just took it home to deal with later. And there didn't appear to be landfill garbage there, so I'm not really sure what we would have done with that. It would have been nice if there were instructions and more info about that. Which is ironic because there are notes and instructions written all over the house on labels telling you what to do, including in the shower. It was a bit much and felt micro-managed.
Also, I'm not really sure why there would be a cleaning fee for not following some of the many rules for checkout when we already pay a fee for cleaning.

Great location/Clean
Quiet and clean home. We visited for a ski weekend getaway with our family and friends. Close to mountain and we all loved being in nature when we were at the home.

Had a great weekend at the cabin. Enjoyed walking our dogs across the street down to the creek. Wood stove was nice in the evenings.

Perfect Getaway
This place had everything we needed for our trip to Mount Baker. The house was was close to the river and a trail and right down the street to Chair 9. It also helped that we received over three feet of snow while we were there. Definitely recommend.

Cozy-Sweet retro rustic cabin. We loved it.
Beware to MOVE ALL ITEMS & furniture at least 3 ft away from dining area wall heat outlet, as is a clear fire hazard. We recommend turning that heat source way down at night or whenever unattended by someone awake and in main floor room with it, and utilize downstairs bathroom & upstairs baseboard heat systems during sleep or when skiing/away from cabin. There are also wood burning stoves as additional cozy heat providers... OWNERS: Consider replacing that property & human hazard dining area wall heat system ASAP.

Not everything worked great but reasonably priced.

Cute Cabin, Accurate Listing
Overall, the cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend getaway...except kitchen spices! Otherwise, the amenities were plentiful enough to enjoy our stay: hot tub was clean & relaxing, and we appreciated the movies, games and comfortable bedding. Being able to hear the river is an added bonus! The Baker Rim property is pristine. Sadly, due to Covid and air quality issues, the pool was closed and we didn't spend too much time outdoors, but we did enjoy the easy river access via the foot path and our doggies sure loved coming on vacation with us! Overall, we enjoyed our time here.

Great Base for Exploring the Mt Baker area
We spent a three nights here and it was perfect for our first trip to the area. We hiked a bunch and drove on a lot of one-lane roads into the forest. Coming back to the cabin each day for a soak in the hot tub in the peaceful and quiet neighborhood was exactly what we needed for a quick getaway. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking all our meals, the bed was comfy and the linens were nice. Everyone in the office was friendly and responsive to our questions.

Great location and neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay with our daughter and her pup. Great place to relax after day hike at Mt. Baker. We bbq’ed salmon and lamb chops on the nice new grill. We also enjoyed the hot tub and indoor wood burning fireplace. The outdoor fire pit looked very inviting as well but there was a fire ban during our stay. The short walk to the river at sunset was a great photo opportunity. Be sure to bring condiments if plan to cook. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful mountain getaway
We loved this little cabin. It was a perfect home base for our mountain exploring. There are so many fun things to do in this area, and hiking is best when it's followed by a soak in the hot tub. Would absolute come here again.

Great location
Great location, cute cabin but far too many neon/intense signage in the cabin. This did not make for a homey atmosphere. There were notes on everything. We did enjoy the hot tub, and the short commute to the mountain. The check in process was also painful as we had to drive all the way back into town after skiing to pick up the keys.

Amazing weekend!
The properly was great! Plenty of amenities and great location. Short drive (and walk) to Chair 9 and a 30 min or so ride to skiing.

Great stay in a perfect cabin with everything you could need
6 of us stayed in December after a solid week of snowfall. The cabin was perfectly kitted out for us kitchen wise. Hot tub was fantastic after a long day skiing. Thanks for the board games. Would stay here again.
