At 3 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from center Street, the location could not be better. Close enough to walk to everything that Folly has to offer, but not so close that you are affected by any noise or traffic.
The downstairs hosts a master bedroom, with a brand new, fully renovated master bath which will include a large walk in shower, soaking tub, and double vanity. Large living room, 2nd Bedroom w/full bathroom, and kitchen are also on this floor.
Upstairs includes 3 additional bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and another spacious living room.

TLC. The yard was great. The basement could use some reorganization as could the sheets towels etc. some stuff in the kitchen cabinets needs to be thrown away. Great location. There were 13 of us and of us and only a few complaints.

The house is a great location (easy walk to the beach and main street with shops and restaurants). The new pool is fantastic, but could use lighting on the pool deck for nighttime. When we first arrived the pool pump wasn’t working properly. Messaged the owner and they responded immediately. The owner came out to see about the pool and got the pump circulating, but the pool wasn’t fully functional until pool man came three days later. But, we still had use of the pool. Three of the four bathrooms have been updated. The fourth needs to be updated, as the guest in that room almost left because of it. It is a nice house with great potential, but it needs a deep clean and repair/replacement of some things to make it worth the cost. The downstairs sofas either need a deep clean or replacement. There are visible spots and stains all over it. We had to buy sheets from Walmart to cover it, as no one wanted to sit on it. (This has been mentioned in several post going back years.). The ceiling fan in the family room needs to be replaced. It wobbles so bad and makes so much noise, it is unusable. The wood on the base of the kitchen island needs repairing, as it has likely be chewed on by a dog. The floor grates for the heater/air conditioner need to be replaced, as they are rusted and unattractive. The oven does not appear to actually reach the desire temp. Had difficulty cooking chicken and bacon without having to turn on the broiler to get meats to actually cook. I never found the two hair dryers that is listed in the description. These are simple things, but would greatly improve the stay of the guests if they were addressed.

In our party we had 5 adults, 3 teens, 2 children and 3 dogs. This house fit s all very comfortably but I must say this house needs some love. When we first entered the home, there was a horrible stench coming from the garbage disposal that traveled throughout the home. Upon viewing the kitchen we noticed that although it appeared to be clean it was not. As we were prepared to do our own COVID cleaning, I quickly began spraying and wiping everything down. The kitchen knobs on the cabinets were gross, inside the spice cabinets things were just opened and spilled onto the cabinet. This glasses were not clean although they were in the cupboard. We used our own paper products for the majority of the stay. . The living room furniture needs replacing and its pretty stained. The dinning room has one chair that when you sit in you feel like you are going to fall through it. We covered it with our sheets we brought with us just to sit on it. The shower in the master was not clean and had to clean it myself. I still used shower shoes. The beds were extremely hard. The best part of this house was the backyard for the dogs. Although only 1 sliding door work and the screen that covered it was broken and could not be used. And if you have small dogs, there is a few boards in the fence where they could easily get through. I reached out to the manager just to let her know how we found the place because the cleaning company surely is not doing their job. She simply apologized and said they do a deep cleaning and it was time for them to do that. I will say for the amount of time I spent cleaning, the next guest will be happier for sure. But this house just really needs some love. It could be a great property as the size is perfect but again, it needs love.

My daughter got married on Folly Beach so our family and friends all were able to stay together. Perfect location, pet friendly and April is great to deal with. Will be returning for another stay!

Overall, it is a nice house for groups and dogs. We had to move some boards on the fenced back yard go make sure the hole was covered so the dogs couldn’t escape. We were hoping to use the screened porch, but it was basically a storage area and unusable. Location was really great! Could use a new master bdm mattress and new pillows.

We stayed at Teal Sunset for the weekend with 3 other families for the 15 year reunion for our Citadel alumni husbands. The house was clean and laid out great for our get together! The back deck was a wonderful place for us to hang out in the evenings and the large front porch was great the night it rained. It comfortably slept 8 adults in the beds and there was plenty of space for blow up mattresses that we brought for the 4 kids (we didn’t use the pull out sofa). The homeowner was great about communicating and also flexible with checking in & out. Wonderful experience and hope to stay here again!!

We had the best time here. There was plenty of open space so we could all be in the same area with out feeling crowded. They had everything you need for the kitchen, the beds and the bathrooms(linens and towels) Coffee makers got a work out. It is within easy walking distance of downtown Folly and to the beach. Lots of charm.. Only thing I would caution you about is it has a lot of stairs so if that is an issue for you you may want to rethink the rental. The owners were so nice and easy to work with.. I highly recommend this home for a family getaway or for a girls weekend..

We really enjoyed our house, and the pictures and descriptions were very accurate. House was well furnished, comfortable and clean, and had a HUGE yard, and pleasant deck area. Street was quiet, but close to the quaint nightlife of Folly.

Our overall experience was very good at the property.The property is very spacious and would be great for 2 families. We didn't need to use the kitchen or laundry facilities upstairs as we had enough room downstairs,but it was great to have our kids sleep upstairs. At times, I felt like I was in someone's home (which was great) because of the extras like the Keuring, Quesidilla maker, condiments in the fridge, and different odds & ends in the kitchen drawers. The house, when we arrived, was very clean. Really impressed. Loved the sunroom! Great for meals & relaxing coffee time! :)
The fenced in backyard was a definite plus as we brought our 2 large dogs along on the trip. The yard was big enough for them to run around. The outside shower was also an extra bonus for rinsing off the beach sand before going into the house to change. The house is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the main street and restaurants.
The only reason I did not rate this property excellent was because of a few missing towel rods in the bathrooms and not enough waste paper baskets in the bathrooms. I know that may seem minor to some but the kids didn't have anywhere to hang their towels. Also, the mattress in the main bedroom downstairs, I think, is ready to be replaced. My husband flipped it over so at least we weren't sliding into the middle after that but it seems to be on its "last legs". Also note, lots of stairs as the ground level floor is a garage so the living space is located on the 2nd & 3rd floors. Stairs did not bother us and even my 84 year old Dad was able to make it up & down OK.
Overall, we had a fabulous time and am already planning to visit again next year!! :)

Great vacation with our family. Had 6 children and 6 adults. Lot's of room and brought my goldendoodle. She loved the yard and the walks to the beach. The walk to the beach was fine even with small children. Will want to come again with the family.

We had a FANTASTIC time at this house, from the moment we arrived we were blown away with the house. We are owners of a condo in N. Myrtle so we don't rent often, but when we do venture out, we end up staying at places that are simply put...a vacation crash place...where there is no comfort/cozyness or even ammenities! (Not by choice, that just seems to be how it turns out) We completely overpacked for this trip, bringing our own blender, coffee maker, cups, corn hole boards (try finding a place in your car with those and suitcases) etc. We were beyond impressed with how fully stocked the house was, having everything we brought and more already there! When it says it can sleep up to 11 it definitely can, we were worried about sleeping arrangments so we brought blow ups and blankets..we had 10 people and each person had their own bed except for one couple and everyone else took to the couches (which were extremely comfortable!) (I would suggest extra comforters if you have a big group). The The house came FULLY equiped with everything you could possibly want, speaking for myself, the girls and I were thrilled that there were margarita glasses for our margaritas! The house was a perfect distance from the beach and the restaurants which we loved, and the upstairs allowed enough privacy that if you need to get away you can, the girls in our group took the upstairs which was perfect when it came to privacy and getting ready (would suggest more mirrors up there though!) This house felt more like a home then a vacation, it was decorated perfectly making you feel that you were on vacation but still coming back to a place that didnt feel like a rental property-almost like you were staying with close friends. Mark was incredible, extremely reliable and quick to get back to us with any questions or concerns, I almost felt like he planned our trip for us. We've been back for 4 days and we're STILL talking about our trip to Folly. As cheesy as it may sound, this house made this trip so memorable. We did a trip to Folly last year and the house was a true rental, with the bare minimum provided, this house has everything it says it has and MORE. if you're looking for a place that feels like home away from home with amenities that you are used to, but you're looking for a true escape/vacation you can't go wrong with renting this place. We plan on doing a return trip every year! Mark, thanks for everything, you made this trip seamless for us and your home was spectacular!

We were incredibly impressed with the home from the moment we got there, the decor of the house made us feel right at home, and not at a vacation home that is left with just the bare minimum. Mark made everything seamless for us, and answered every little question we had promptly-I almost felt that he was our group organizer due to how professional yet personable he was with us! We definitely OVER packed for our trip, in the past, the vacation homes we have used have had nothing but beds, this house had everything that we needed, corn hole boards, access to a few beach chairs, linens, even margarita glasses to name a few :) Our group is still talking about how much fun our trip was, it was nice that it had 2 floors, it allowed the girls in our group to have privacy which was great. (only thing I would suggest is more mirrors upstairs!) We were walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants which was incredibly convenient. We plan on making a return trip every year, this was the best vacation we could have had, and as ridiculous as it may sound, alot of it had to do with the house-it was more than we expected, and we couldn't have been happier with it. We did bring blankets and comforters/but if we wouldnt have we would not have had enough, that could have also been because we had 10 people, (5 people to the 4 beds, 4 people on the couches and one person on a blow up) so had we all shared beds it would not have been a problem. Thanks for opening your home up to us-we're a responsible group, but because it was truly styled as a "home" and not a vacation rental, we felt completely at ease-you're lucky we didnt decide to move in!! :)

I cannot express how awesome this house is! We have rented around 5 houses in Folly and this by far has been one of our favorites. People have said the pictures do not do this place justice and I could not agree more. We stayed with 8 people total, and rented the entire house. As we walked in, the first response out of everyone was wow and this place is awesome. There is plenty of room to escape in this house if you get a little sick of your fellow vacationers. If we were not biking or walking to the beach, restaurants, bars etc., we were hanging out in the screened room downstairs or on the deck enjoying the sun. The decor is great, not too much and not too little (tasteful beachy I would call it), the furnishings are awesome (I personally recommend the main floor couches or the hammock for a mid-day nap) and the beds are comfy. The kitchen is very very well equipped; we were able to make all our meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner without missing anything. My fiancé and I brought our two dogs and I would say they give it two paws up. The fully fenced yard is more than spacious. All in all you will be missing out if you do not rent this house. We will be renting again for our annual trip and maybe even a winter trip! Thanks for sharing such an awesome beach house!!!!!

This house exceeded our expectations and actually was more beautiful than the pictures online. Plenty of room, very nice furnishings, clean and the owner had plenty of kitchen utensils, plates, pots and pans....even a fully stocked spice rack. We hung out most of the time on the front porch, great swing bench.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Family gathering. Would definitely rent again.

We had two families meet up to use this house so we rented the full house. One had small children and the other had grown children, so having the separate living areas worked well. Plenty of room for the eleven of us. The house was clean and as described. On a quiet street, with beach and Center Street both within comfortable walking distance. We enjoyed Lost Dog Cafe, 'Wich Doctor, Black Magic Cafe and Taco Boy. Rita's was just OK.

Stayed here in june 2013 for a week with around 10 other people including friend and my girlfriend. Great house. Location is walking distance to beach and restaraunts. Terrific value and management was very easy to work with. House is in very good condition and has everything you need. Bedrooms are very nice. I would recommend this house to everyone, the house is in a great location, very comfortable for larger groups and there are lots of things to do near the house.
